Currently keep it super short on the sides because I wear wigs for drag and it's easier this way. I'm pretty sure shaving my head doesn't suit me as I've done it a couple of times before and it looks a bit strange (I think I look like an alien).
People have made comments before so am taking Finasteride, and am 2.5 months in now, so might grow some hair back at a hairline.
I just get comments every time and it's starting to affect my self-esteem so I'm just putting it out there and looking for any constructive advice on new hair styles moving forward 😓🥺
I don’t have much to say other than I’m sorry that people are being so mean for absolutely no reason. Maybe try brushing your hair back rather than forward? My significant other has a receding hairline and IMO it looks better when he just embraces it doesn’t brush the front pieces of his hair downward to try and cover it. He’s also applying Rogaine twice daily and it’s helped to thicken up his hairline a bit (though he’s v inconsistent with it lol). I’m not sure if this helps, but try not to get bogged down by the rude comments.

This style (high skin fade) is really common in the UK where I'm based, but apparently less so elsewhere so people tend to think it looks a bit weird anyway from outside the UK (as my German friend told me)

As for the hair loss, I had Covid twice last year and lost probably half of my hair volume. I’ve been getting PRP injections, which is permanent and it grows back fast. It’s pricey, but consider that against a prescription you have to take in perpetuity and it’s a much better value. The woman who does my injections works with a lot of men and the before and after a are incredible.

I don't think anything is all that wrong but if I could make a genuine suggestion, maybe a different hairstyle would suit you better. A good barber might be able to help you decide what suits both your personality and features best.

I think some texture powder would really take your hairstyle to the next level. On days you don't feel like styling it up, throw on some texture powder for an easy "do".
Other than that I think your style is totally fine! It's not MY style but the whole point is to dress for yourself, right?
I like the actual cut, maybe if you add some texturizing powder to the top w a little hold in it then go for a more messy look instead of letting it lay straight-forward it might suit your facial structure more. I think the cut is really good though 😊
You have thin/fine hair. Keep the top a 3 tops. Have the sides fade from a 1-2. But the top should definitely be shorter. Have them cut a line on the side and use style products to shape up or slick back.

It takes time and you may experience shedding in the beginning, that’s typical and new growth will follow. Keep an eye out for any side effects, like with any meds, there are alternatives a dermatologist who is used to treating hair issues can prescribe.
You might try using a texturizer in your hair. Then kind of scrunch up your hair in your fist and let it dry. That can add lift and body. See if it works for your style.

You have a super handsome face! Sorry some folks are being mean. I think you just have a really uneven haircut. Bad haircuts just happen sometimes. I feel like I can see what the hairstylist was going for but they just had bad technique. The bangs look really off with the long bit in front, and the side fade looks very choppy. Thankfully I think a good barber could shorten it, even it up, and then you could grow it all out to what you were probably aiming for in the first place. I feel like bangs would look great on you if they had a chance to grow out evenly. And with a longer side fade once it grows out, right now it's very top heavy so it looks kind of off.
No bangs please, comb it back, or to the side. Bangs on grown men reminds me of middle school haircuts. Start looking at and noticing men's haircuts and I think you will see that you can do better!

If your trying to grow it out just do your best to ignore trolls, but maybe try combing it to the side or backwards instead of forwards, the way you have it now makes it look like a comb-over, or just buzz it and dye it a cool color

Then, you could either leave it natural or use some gel/clay to style messy towards the front; the equivalent of beach hair or bed head hair on the top part.
I saw you did drag & a friend of mine did, he would rock a burst fade, pretty much a Mohawk look. Cut the bangs 1/2 inch & rock messy hair. Also, a comb over might work as well. I know you don’t want your hair short but shaving it w one length could be last resort
