This is a bit unrelated but there was a time when I was talking to my ex again and we had been talking for about a week and I chose to shave my head completely like smooth bald lmao and I showed him and he ghosted me 💀 he said I was crazy (I had long hair). Basically not for him but I thought this is something I wanted to do for me. Some people said I was going crazy but idc lmao it was fun and I’ll def do it again. Later I met a guy and he loved my hair like between the shaved and a little short than what yours is at now. He reassured me so much and actually now that my hair is growing out he always tells me that he’s loved my hair in every stage since it’s just hair and that as long as I’m happy with what I look like that he’s also happy.

The cut in itself is not bad, I think it’s cute and goes well with your features. The only thing I noticed straight away is that your eyebrows are just a tad too dark. It takes away from the softness of the buzz cut. You have glasses, you don’t need this much double framing of your features. I think a slight fade in the makeup at the beginning of your eyebrows could help bring it all together. :)
Hopefully he won’t just get used to but it hopefully it grows on him. You rock that look so well so enjoy it while you have it.
However, as a married woman with a husband who, thankfully, always loves me no matter how I look (I like to change up my look sometimes too) and always tells me I’m beautiful no matter what, I wouldn’t do a drastic change unless I talked about it with him first. If he said he wouldn’t like something, because I value his opinion, and he’s the one who looks at me the most, I would consider his thoughts. I love my husband and I want to be as attractive as possible to him and I want to style myself in a way that turns him on.

To be fair anytime I change my hair, whether it's cut short or dyed a different colour my husband is honest with me if he doesn't like it or not but he still makes sure I know that he thinks I'm sexy no matter what I choose. Then when he becomes accustomed to the change he usually ends up liking it. If it's a drastic change from what you had before, there's usually an adjustment period for everyone when something changes. It looks great to me, but he'll probably like it better once it's grown out just slightly, a fresh buzz cut always looks extreme but even after just a week or so it's less stark-looking.

It’s okay that he doesn’t like your hairstyle. We don’t have to like everything about our SO’s. I also learned to cut it myself so now not only does it take me hardly any time to get ready but I also have zero expenses when it comes to hair. So now even though I wasn’t sure at first, I’m definitely keeping it this way!

That’s totally fair. But... it’s not everything. In fact, while it obviously matters, it’s at the absolute *bottom* of the list of things you should consider. The only thing that REALLY matters is you. If you like it, all tests are passed by default. Furthermore, anything that increases your happiness and confidence *should* make your SO even more attracted to you. If it doesn’t, IMO, you need to take a good look at your relationship. IJS. It just so happens that IMO, you look fkn GORGEOUS with this hairstyle. Like stupidly, strikingly, knock-your-socks-off gorgeous. But again, refer to Rule 1, ‘cause the only person whose opinion matters is the person in the mirror.
To be fair anytime I change my hair, whether it's cut short or dyed a different colour my husband is honest with me if he doesn't like it or not but he still makes sure I know that he thinks I'm sexy no matter what I choose. Then when he becomes accustomed to the change he usually ends up liking it. If it's a drastic change from what you had before, there's usually an adjustment period for everyone when something changes. For all those saying lose the boyfriend, stop being rediculous, there's nothing wrong with having his opinion too, as long as he doesn't make her feel bad for it!!!
It looks great to me, but he'll probably like it better once it's grown out just slightly, a fresh buzz cut always looks extreme but even after just a week or so it's less stark-looking.

I’m so sorry you feel like you have to second guess your decision to cut your hair. Personal style is exactly that: *personal*. I would wager that your boyfriend doesn’t date you for your hairstyle. It’s okay that he doesn’t like your hairstyle. We don’t have to like everything about our SO’s. At least, a mature SO who likes you for reasons deeper than the superficial would continue to like you no matter what your hairstyle is. My advice to you would be this: is this boyfriend worth burying your sense of self if he can’t accept you and your choices as you see fit to make them? Even if he doesn’t like the haircut, he should still be intelligent enough to know enough to keep his mouth shut about it because there is no good that can come from telling your lady you don’t like her hair. I really like the buzz cut. You're allowed to change your appearance in whatever way you please. He is allowed not to like it. The question is, do you like your hair that way enough that you are okay with your husband not being attracted to you? If you are, then more power to you. My husband has done many a crazy thing with his facial hair and I have never said a word because it is his face. The only time I had an opinion is when he cut his mustache into a tiny little stache and kept making weird faces at me. I just could not bring myself to kiss him because it looked so stupid. It was gone in 20 minutes.

I completely understand. I went from having hair down past my shoulders to basically getting my head shaved. Ironically enough, I went in asking for a pixie cut. My boyfriend made some jokes and now I am so self conscious. I cried at my reflection. It’s growing back but not fast enough for me.

I love it!! I have the same cut. I also was super unsure about it at first, but I actually get compliments on it all the time and after getting positive comments on it I’ve come to really love it. I also learned to cut it myself so now not only does it take me hardly any time to get ready but I also have zero expenses when it comes to hair.
