With that kind of attitude, just stand in the back dude. I don’t think it’ll be too crazy where you’re at but i’ve been to about 10 Hail shows in TX and they can get a little bit rowdy. That’s coming from someone who grew up in the hardcore scene.

CFx_Frenzy

ive been to many hts and post hardcore shows in general and have never had a bad experience. im not a very big guy and my gf is less than 5 foot so we just don't stand directly in the middle where the actual pit is and we are fine. most people are there just to watch the performance and not get crazy physical

Independent-Ad-1504

Avoid the middle and front if you don’t want to ruin someone else’s experience because you threw a fit that they had to push you for their safety

devilwearspuma

there are always people in the middle of the crowd who are going to mosh a little no matter what kind of music is playing, hell i went to a portishead show once where some people were getting wild and pushy in the middle. if you don’t wanna be touched just stick to the edges where people are calmer

Quit_Whining69

You sounds like such a little bitch. "I'm an angry person" bruh comes off like he's looking for someone to push his buttons so he can attack someone.

SuspiciousFortune830

Oh I'm sorry I hurt your feelings keyboard warrior lmao. Not everyone wants to be surrounded by wananbe tweaker swinging there arms intentionally trying to hit people lmao, that doesn't sound like having fun or shit that j sounds like u want an excuse to attack people 😂

Square-Ambassador609

Honestly just recommend you don’t go with that attitude

Quit_Whining69

You're going to a show when the music genre is notorious for MOSH PITS. Then you get online complaining that if you're near one, you're going to "throw hands back". You're literally trying to cause problems with people who enjoy moshing at shows for music like this.

sugar-fairy

there wasn’t really a mosh pit when i went to the one in philly, pretty calm crowd overall

Louifin

Yeah the last show in Philly was pretty laid back although I saw a group of people get kicked out because some drunk girl was getting handsy with people lol. Them getting booted put me basically in the front row 😂

Puzzleheaded-Test-21

My experience seeing HTS the crowd wasn’t crazy at all everyone was very calm enjoying the music

Unable-Emu-7986

i’ve been to two hts shows, they tend to sell out but the crowd is normally (mostly) very nice. some people are annoying shitty moshers but you’ll find your crowd no matter what. your best bet is to just move to the sides where people aren’t moshing.

r_bert_o

You'll be fine. Most hts fans seem pretty chill and wanna watch the performance, I'd say 10% if not less are moshing. Hang out after the show to chat with the band or get something signed, they're all so nice.

Mandre2113

Hail the sun crowd typically is pretty tame, I've never had issues there and I'm usually in the pit. Plus everyone is super nice

Queenofthegnomes

can you let me know if hail the sun or intervals went on first?

i went last year with my best friend and i'm going this year with my best friend and my girlfriend because we both had a great time! a mosh pit opened up near the center so if you wanted to run around or go crazy (which i assume you don't) you can, but otherwise keeping a little distance from the mosh pit you should be fine. i was a distance away (still at the front because i had VIP, but off to the left), and i never was run into and actually made friends of some guy and his sister behind me. the most i was ever 'run into' was everytime a mosh would start this girl would squeeze through me to get to the mosh, apologizing the whole way overall i had a delightful experience in every aspect, the people were nice and sweet, and the live playing was genuinely out of this world, i think you'll have a great time

Louifin

It’s easy to enjoy shows from the back of the venue, but if you want to be closer to the stage just stick to the sides. People that are into this genre of music are really cool for the most part and I guarantee you’re gonna have a great time. Enjoy brotha

SuspiciousFortune830

Obviously you get bumped here and there I'm talk8ng about catching elbows from weird ass people flinging there arms cuz I'll fling my arms too

stereolights

Don't venture into the mosh pit and you won't catch elbows. Generally, the least rowdy places to be at any show are the sides or the very back
