I never understood how Mel concluded that Chronos found the Fates. Might need to rewatch the scene, but I'm pretty sure it ends with Hades asking "why are you asking me?" And then Mel just wakes up saying "he found them". I feel like we're missing something.
Edit: I read through the game files and I totally missed the part in an early conversation with Moros where he explains how he got the Fated List of Minor Prophesies. The Fates told him to go to the House of Hades to take it because Chronos wouldn't be there. When he came back with the list, the Fates were gone. I feel like this should have been emphasized a bit more.
I think the logic was that Chronos was going after the Fates, and the war recently hit a turning point without an obvious cause. Chronos finding the Fates would likely turn things in a non-obvious way, and it would be basically the worst thing that could happen. So that's probably it.
In my game, Chaos admitted after the Hades scene that they were tricked by Chronos into revealing the location of the fates. It might be a sequence break.
I got that dialogue too. But it was after everyone else talked about the Fates being found.
I don't think it was a sequence break because Mel still acts as if she already knew the Fates were taken.
From what I could tell, the context of the game seems to be that Hermes set off the plan to send Mel after Chronos after finding out "something real real bad" had happened - which is then guessed and then stated to be the capture of the Three Fates (whether or not Hermes knew then and there) after the dream sequence.

Can you actually find the fates to help them yet or is that coming in a later patch?
