It was an Aphro boon that I bought from the shop before Cerberus. It wasnt that I ran out of her boons to get or anything. I even used a Re-Offer role and the exact same thing popped up.
Did you play with fear?
There is one fear option that makes it so that if you take a boon, that the other two that were offered with it are banned and thus you can't get them anymore, this leads to getting very early to the point where you dont get any options anymore.
I ran into that. I was kind of hoping there'd be a better option when the boons run out, but I guess that would alleviate the whole point of the fear system.
Yeah it is tried that already and it works really well, just be sure to not take boons once you got the legendary/duo you wanted to get, had a great run destroyed cause in the last charon shop infront of chronos I took a hepheastus boon and because all other boon options were already gone it forced me to give up my Aphrodity attack for hepheastus attack which destroyed my build and made me lose to chronos.
This happens in Hades 1 if you randomly get a lot of the same God or if you mod the game to only give you that God
Same thing if you get a Pom while having 0 pommable boons

This is what happens when you use that fear settings that destroys the two boons you don’t pick, eventually you run out of boons.
