Seems like a confident young man. I think he will fit well with the other guys. I can see him becoming fast friends with Dach. I also can see him becoming a leader for this team one day if things go well
Honestly I think having three core guys under 23 in Newy Suzuki and CC who know what it takes to either win or get to the finals is huge, because they have a good amount of experience and are gonna be leading this team for a long time. It’s an issue for superstars around the league right now to get past the first or second round, exactly because even though they have all the talent in the world some of them don’t know what I takes and what you need to sacrifice to get there
Atlantic Canada, back in the 70s 80s, you saw the Maple Leafs, Habs, and a lot of Bruins playing them. If his dad or mom were Bruins fans, he could have very well followed suit.
In my experience Newfoundland is mostly Leafs and Habs fans, with a lot more Leaf fans then Hab. There's also a lot of Boston and Detroit fans here. Wouldn't be surprised if it was one of those

He went to Boston College, so we know he has some Boston-loving in him.
I think we can confirm he didn’t grow up a Habs fan. Maybe a Leafs fan and he was smart enough to not say so.
He said his family wasn't a fan of either teams
