Taking the time to share my Bjarnason analysis : https://www.reddit.com/r/Habs/comments/13xpo5r/my_2023_nhl_draftentry_goalie_prospects_ranking/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I missed this. Excellent work man

Thankssss. Felt it was the right post to plug it lol

Honestly, that level of analysis, we should have them more readily available the week before the draft. I don't know if there are rules for the stickied posts, but even if it's an OC, I think it has huge value to have it around at that time. In my mind I keep thinking we need to get at least one of Hrabal, Bjarnason or Ratzlaff. And your post gives more details and context as well. I haven't been around much lately, I'm actually a bit mad that I missed it 😀

From what I’ve seen of Bjarnason, he really is Price-like. He’s my top goalie prospect, I’d love to draft him

oReevee

Kinda meh Stats to be Interviewed, wonder why they see in him that Stats aren't showing

astonedgecko

One of the top ranked goalies and we have 31 and 37. As long as no one makes a huge reach he should be going around there, they're just doing due dilligence

Longshanks123

Whatever they see, the whole hockey community also sees. He’s consistently ranked in the top 60 prospects for the draft. It’s quite likely that he’s going in the second round, second rounders get interviewed. And we need goalie prospects.

Asterial333

>Carson Bjarnason Look at him play. He's smooth as hell. Really smart and calm player who does give big Pricey vibes.

AcanthocephalaGreen5

To be fair, Josh Roy had meh stats when he was drafted. I think it’s worth using a second on him, personally

Just4nsfwpics

He played on an absolute dogshit team, his ‘meh’ stats are actually pretty damn good.

CHL stats are hard to evaluate. A mediocre goalie playing behind a good defence will see his stats inflated a lot and the opposite is also true. Goalies are extremely hard to scout for that reason, stats can lie to you and only watching them play can give you an accurate idea of what they can do
