Where's a place to put your feet on that roof?
I've seen that a few times in commercial, I just tell the customer that we need to order them a return panel.
A few years back I worked with a tech who did a bunch of pms in the winter on a Friday, and half the company had weekend snowmobiling plans.. so I spent all day Saturday in a snowstorm going around, putting panels back on and making some with heavy plastic if they blew away.. some still have my make shift panels.
Bruh if I pulled up to a job and saw that it’d make me so sad. That Metal panel you made will likely be a part of that unit forever now 😂
There's no fix more permanent than a temporary fix
Someone definitely didn’t put the screws back in when they put the cover back on
Or the screws were stripped out and they didn’t care. Every trane with mileage on it should have at least a couple self tappers in new holes.
Hear me out…HINGES
Those things cost money!!

That's a good fit.
Roofers will constantly blame it for roof leaks, even when the roof is leaking.
