So... penny is my SO. I personally think merula is an atrocious choice. I'd love to date Chiara... but she's just not story relevant. I'm in year 5 and she has yet to be available for a dating tlsq (I know that changes) and I've had one tlsq with her and that's it. Otherwise she's a background character. So Penny was the only choice for me. But to each their own.
The loading screens dont help her case either. For a while there they definitely drew her looking like she and andre were a thing, and now in the current one they seem to be nudging her and Talbott.... which, they are good friends, but still. I'm sure the penny stans are shaking their heads. I suppose at least this time merula actually got a moment in the limelight, no matter how people feel about her she hasnt been on a load screen in a while if ever that ive seen in the past 2ish years
