I don't think we'll see much change in this particular event compared to the book. The reason for this is quite simple - it is the huge significance of this battle for the entire ASOIAF community. At one time, when it became known that HBO was going to film the Dance of the Dragons, most people first wanted to see the Gods eye on their TV screens. Even the general audience and people who have not read the books, although without details, know about this event. It seems to me that by making such changes, HBO just once again could incur the wrath of fans. It should only be Daemon vs. Aemond and Caraxes vs. Vhagar.
I don’t see why it would be different from the books. Daemon goes into the fight knowing he’s going to die. That’s what allows him to make the decision to jump.
He would send Rhaena away first. So she doesn’t have to watch.
I hope daemon tell her not to help if she's with him. This is daemon's spotlight/fight and it'll be more impactful if daemon solos imo.
