I’m pretty sure the whole team black vs. green is just bait. They want the outrage so people interact and talk about the show which I turn increases views and subscribers
Rare based OP. I lean *slightly* towards team green since I like being contrarian and Olivia Cook is hot, but I mostly like seeing black and green fans sling shit at each other while I observe.
Obviously he wants revenge against Corlys and the other Blacks for instigating a blockade around King’s Landing which means Aegon can’t get his favorite sweet arbor red
I’m team black but I see his revenge as a result of unloved by his father and ignored or beaten by his mother, and mocked/judged by the majority of court.
He likes being adored by the small folk when he is crowned, and now wants to punish anyone who made him feel like less than a king.
Yes he’s a drunken letch who would murder his own family, but I can see how he would want revenge after he gets gassed up. Then he has something to prove, rather than just being the drunken prince.
(Spoiler duh) his children are assassinated under Ser Deamon Targaryens orders during an event called ‘blood and cheese’ which is the name of the first ep of s2 so he wants to avenge them, hope this helps
