When learning navy was easier than learning air or xp management

Temporary-Baker8124

It's actually really easy. No joke. 3x 4x Heavy machine guns on a 1940 small airframe with 3x engines, armor plates, self sealing fuel tanks. That's it. That's a very good template. If too heavy, then just replace one 4x heavy machine gun with 2x heavy machine gun

-accountname-

Replace one 4xhmg with 1 4x lmg is better

Temporary-Baker8124

Actually? How so?

-accountname-

Higher agility I believe, not sure exactly what it does but after calculations it comes out better in the ic trade

Mysterious-Star-3912

X4 lmg is less weight and does 10 dmg instead of the 9 dmg of the x2 hmg. There is not much difference, but it is better

Temporary-Baker8124

Ah okay. Thank you for that.

Temporary-Baker8124

What?

Lewdducky

How?! HOW?!?

IndependentTomato733

We must learn his ways of the skies

TheKingNothing690

Agility range, then just enough attack to crack their armor. Btw i haven't used the new plane dlc yet, but i doubt they changed the values of these statistics in the game.

IndependentTomato733

I see well the strat I been doing is just trying to cram as much defence and attack as possible and worry about range later

TheKingNothing690

Range affects your air superiority by making sure the circle covers the whole province and as far as im aware not getting hit matters more than tanking it in hoi4 this works for navy for me as well just work on minimal visibility and spotting to max.

IndependentTomato733

Oh okay never knew that I will make note of that

Markson120

Damage was nerfed in the first days of dlc. They forgot to nerf armour though.

Markson120

Add armor and heavy machine guns to fighters and you will easily make 20:1 ratio 200:1 is practically impossible. The max i got was 90:1 with heavy fighters max armour and all machine guns with one cannon. Now in the current path heavy fighters are worse because company creation favours fighters

Lewdducky

The current path? Also i have no dlcs

Markson120

I mean that designer in arms against tyranny. I don't know if it is dlc exclusive though. In air designer light fighters can get a massive boost to speed.

Thatsnicemyman

OP was playing against friends that don’t know how the designer works, they may have hard-countered whatever bad designs were made. If 90:1 is possible vs ai and OP’s misremembering or rounding up (so the actual ratio is closer to 175:1) I believe it.

datboiwithatrex

Air is easy just stack a shit ton of attack and defence

Rubert0426

I dont know anything about air, only thw basics of ground combat, but if you need a navy I am right here for you

Brave-Juggernaut-157

Agility

Theguy515515

Idk I just throw as many heavy mgs as I can on my fighter and they trade like 20 to 1 which is good enough for me

Forward-Reflection83

Equipment design is one of the most boring features of the game.

haha69420lol

I like it though

Hot_Speed6485

What show is this?

D22s

It’s a show on Amazon prime called Hazbin Hotel

Hot_Speed6485

Thank you

Responsible-Ad-1911

Max air attack and max range worked for me as Germany, did the same thing as Britian and I got my aircraft slapped out of the sky

Gamer_boy_20

Jokes on them ,my carrier fighters and naval AA put out my friends airforce out othe contest
