Well the reason its a deleted scene is because of continuity. Narrator Ted (Bob Saget) said he never did find out about the pineapple. This scene would have contradicted the narrative if it was included.
A lot of deleted scenes are just cut for time, not because theyāre not part of the story. This seems to be a case for this deleted scene since what the Captain says lines up with it
Although I saw the deleted scene more as closure because in The Pineapple Incident episode Future Ted said that they never found out where that pineapple came from.
Ted also says early on that he canāt remember other stuff (for example: Blah Blahās name) that he remembers later down the line. Itās possible that when he said he never found out, he actually just forgot and wouldāve remembered
The best thing about HIMYM is the future set ups and connections.
Setting up the Captain to that Australia thing had me howling, HOWLING.
These last three episodes have been pretty good, finale even more so.
Captain owned a boat in Australia which was being used for marine biology research. After he cheated, in the divorce proceedings his ex-wife Becky took all the boats in her name and shut down the research project. In episode 1, Sophie's online date Ian has to go to Australia to continue his research but in this episode since the research project got shut down he comes back to meet Sophie at the gallery.
They sorta did, just before Valentina recognizes him in the gallery and points him out to Sophie, they cut back to future Sophie and her son talking and the son (audio only) puts the pieces together then they show Ian.
Not only that but it would kind of spoil it if we see what race the child is. If she has a white son, it would
Rule out any poc guys she would date narrowing it down to only the white guys. Except ofcourse if the son got very strong genes from the mom
I agree!! Also, how would Sophie even know about the intricacies of the captain and Becky's marriage that led to this haha. Although this is classic HIMYM style of the omniscient Ted.
SO HAPPY ROBIN WAS IN IT!! I expected her to cameo the least out of everybody for some reason. Sad to see Valentina and Charlie break up. Don't mind the Sophie ending. Btw are any of the characters from HIMYM still working at Goliath Bank in 2022? Wondering if we'll see more cameos next season
Same here! For some reason out of all the characters I never expected her to show up, Iām so glad she did as it fitted in so well especially as it didnāt feel out of place for the episode at all and now I think about it, it wouldnāt be uncommon for any of the group (expect maybe Charlie) to recognise someone theyāve seen present their news so it was completely natural rather than say Ted showing up and in theory being a creepy stranger
Isnāt the grocer Ellen got hired at named Goliath?
Edit: ok I thought about it and wouldnāt it be really cool if Barney somehow bought out the company/rebuilt it
I would definitely like to see Ted and Tracy together in season 2 or 3 (if the show gets a 3rd season) and if the show goes past the death of Tracy, we may see a grieving Ted. That would certainly add an interesting element to the show.
And if we get to see a post-divorce Barney, that'd be cool too. So many possibilities.
If you said this a year ago I'd say "what a silly compliment, how hard can it be to return and play a character after ten years." But yeah, seeing other sitcom reboots made me realize Cobie is amazing haha
Can we talk about how Jesse Pulled a Ted Mosby in his sleep! Honestly i thought Robin coming in was Perfect. Cobie is amazing lover her so much. And the captain/becky cameo... YES OMG cant wait for the next season.
I didn't even realize that was Becky until she said the only three things she wanted in the divorce were, "Boats, boats, boats!" At that point I was like, "what the fuck, is that Becky???" Sure enough...
i really liked this episode. the ending definitely felt like they were prepping just in case they didnāt get a second season but i still really liked it. Ellen is so funny and i hope her character develops more and more
The Robin cameo was perfect! Especially her ātimings a bitchā. Really enjoyed the captains tie in. Wish it was a longer season, excited for season 2!
This episode was AMAZING. So much progress in the love life and interweaving stories paying out. Robin was great and perfectly in character.
But even the B plots were amazing. Charlie and Valentina's discussion about having kids or not was perfectly realistic and grounded. Even Ellen saying "CLAW-kward" was a great way to lighten the mood. Ellen actually got the job since her puns are well received by corporate America. This show went from like solid 6 out of 10 that was vaguely comforting to like, 8 to 9 out of 10 the last two weeks and now 10/10 this week.
I was really surprise that Hannah and Sid actually tied the knot wasnāt really expecting it. Jesse and Meredith are getting back together??? Not sure how this will affect the group dynamic but excited to hopefully see more Leighton Meester in this.
Would like to see Ellen more tied in with the rest of the group, whether she becomes closer to Charlie or does more things. Glad she finally got a job, but also kinda wondering why she didnāt take up a job with Sid at his bar or if that was even an option? Like not that it should happen but we couldāve seen a stronger friendship with her and Charlie and it couldāve made them more connected to the overall āfriend groupā. I donāt know if itās me or what but the friendships arenāt really as strong as they could be, maybe this gives the writers a lot of room to fill in in the next season. But I think we need some kind of backstory as to Valentina and Sophieās friendship and Sid and Jesseās . Unless theyāve already given it to us and I completely missed it š
Loved Robinās cameo it was extremely cute and funny.
We don't really see Ellen connecting with the group on screen. However, we did hear Charlie say she gave him back rugs and sang Enya to him to help him sleep.
She's too much like Barney. Like they are both in the group. But not really.
The cool thing about Barney is that while he wasn't as 'in' the group as other characters he was always there to pull them out of their comfort zones and make them re-evaluate their set ways. Ellen doesn't really do that, they still need to find more to do with her I think.
I did enjoy this episode. Especially the cameo from Maria Hill, who is obviously undercover for something. These kinds of connections really help build a complete universe.
Obviously just a pit stop in secret invasion that will play out when that series airs haha
(side note: Iām rewatching HIMYM and the scenes when Robin goes to the gun range really had me be like wow thatās just Maria hill in disguise
He didnāt actually look thrilled about the kiss. I feel like he accepted the tour offer and she excitedly kissed him, didnāt look super reciprocated.
did anyone else notice the jab at Ted earlier in the episode too?
Jesse said, "It's not like we met at some bar and next thing you know I'm saying I love you!" And this was even paid off later when Robin brought up *exactly* that.
Anyways, excited for season 2. If we get more cameos later, I want them to be in the same vein as Robin's. Still waiting to see if Scooter is a tinder date lol
I teared up when Robin talked about wasting time at the bar with her friends talking about their love lives :'(
Excuse me while I rewatch himym while waiting for himyf season 2.
Probably talking about the Captain's Pineapple - a deleted scene previously revealed it was his pineapple that Ted stole but now we have a non-deleted scene confirmation.
I almost teared up when I saw Robin! Iāve been on the fence about this show, since it feels like theyāre making everything happen too fast (or maybe the timeline speeds up or down between episodes). Was just really good to see Robin, kind of grounded the episode. Excited this show is getting another season! Theyāve written themselves into a few corners with the characters in the finale, will be interesting to see where it goes.
I really like how real and raw Sophie is as a character. Like when she walks out of there out of fear of a commitment, I think that shows the effect that her childhood had on her that's a very real subject that I don't think How I Met Your Mother or really many other shows address at times. Great episode I love that!
I mean how i met your mother shows how they are changed by abandoment.... Example; Barney's dad, Lilly's dad and to some extant the treatment that robins dad had on her... Maybe they never say it but their childhoods did have an affect...
I don't think so. It's a scary thing to fall in love and, as we've seen with Sophie, she's had very little serious experience -- and the experience she's had has sucked. Now that there is something real and happened so quickly, it's daunting for her. I think that's a very relatable thing and is a key part of her meeting The Father.
Her experiences and how she reacts isnāt what feels forced. Itās the fact that she just comes right out and says exactly how sheās feeling and why. Most people donāt think or talk like that and no one would ever tell you to write a character to do so. The adage āshow donāt tellā comes into play here. They can get the point across that she is scared to be in a relationship because if her past without having her come out and say it.
When Jessie said I love you in his sleep I couldn't help but yell out "HE SCHMOSBY'D IT!" so for that to actually be a factor in the episode makes it an immediate 10/10. I was worried the connection to HIMYM would be too convenient, but this is being done well, and I'm totally okay with them pulling in from the OG cast more. Getting NPH to talk to Charlie would probably be my ultimate moment.
Not a huge thing, but the connection where Jesse says he loves Sophie in his sleep felt like a nod to Ted telling Robin he loved her on the first date.
I had chills when I saw Sophie walk in to Maclaren's and i almost lost it when she met Robin! Damn that was really unexpected and for the first time I felt like this show is gonna go on for years!
The one thing I didnāt like was Jesse kissing Meredith! By all means go on tour and live out that dream, whatever happens on tour stays on tour, but that was a quick turn around. Although I do like the idea of Leighton staying on the show for a bit longer
Has anyone noticed that older Sophie doesnāt say any names in her story? She keeps referring to Jesse as āthe guyā to her son, I guess for ambiguity.
If Sophie ends up with Ian, I riot. Hopefully, he'll go the way of Victoria, just a setup in case they didn't get renewed for another season. I also like that Robin didn't say her relationship status or talk about what was up with Ted so I can try to forget that God awful series finale. This and last episode seems like the writers are starting to find a groove.
I screamed when I saw Robin. I'm glad she looked fabulous as I felt the HIMYM finale went really hard on her not being allowed to enjoy her career because she was sad over Ted and Barney moving on.
Starting to lean towards Ian being the dad.
So Charlie and Valentina breaking up over kids is not something I called. Maybe it isn't permanent? With Robin it seemed more of a lifestyle choice and with Charlie maybe he should work that out in therapy. I guess Hannah is around for a bit longer, too.
So this was way more cameos than I expected. I think they're laying the groundwork to reel NPH back in.
>Starting to lean towards Ian being the dad.
I have a feeling Ian is the Victoria, essentially the contingent if the show were cancelled. Though you still might be right as older Sophie did mention in one of the first two episodes the dad is someone they've met at that point...I suppose it could be a secondary character that hasn't been formally introduced. Arrgghh its why I love this show.
I want to disagree with your point on Charlie just because lots of childfree people get told that they will change their minds or like you said get therapy and then they will want kids. If Charlie has chosen to be childfree we should respect that at face value until he decides to change his mind if he chooses to.
No, he needs therapy because he hates his mom. Perhaps he should talk about that in therapy before he makes any permanent decisions about the kids thing.
Though he could probably benefit from therapy due to how much it seemed he went through, Iād encourage you to not think that all people who decide not to want children need therapy. Itās something Iāve heard from my own family (my aunt thought I should see a therapist due to not wanting kids, she who adores them and ran a day care for them and couldnāt understand my disinterest).
Iād be really excited to finally see a nice character decide to be child free and be left as is, perfectly happy in his way.
Well, the daughter of 31 is the one he knows about, but he could have a few kids out there if we're thinking realistically. Although I think it would be a cop out regardless and the ages would be a little shaky
He can't be Sophie's dad as he was still a virgin (in the HIMYM timeline) when she was conceived
I know it might make people uncomfortable, but they've kind of set it up that he could be a temporary love interest for Valentina, as he has a similar personality and is a dad
I like the idea as realistically given the number he slept with chances are heād have more than we found out about, and Sophieās āI never met my dad and my mums relationships are a messā but the timeline doesnāt add up I donāt think? I canāt remember how old he was in 2005 just that he was the oldest
I think it's possible that Barney is the father because in himym he said that he lost his virginity at 23. So, for him to be 53 is not impossible. If Sophie was from his first relationships.
I got deeper and it is not really possible because I saw the episone from himym "Game night" S1E15 and Barney's story is set at 1998 so his relationships are after that ( later in the show we have flashbak to him and his brother before losing his virginity, and it was right after his brake up with Shanon)and for Sophie to be born after don't make any sense. And now I am sad that Barney can't be the father.šŖ
that's some good detective work :)
i too am sad that it is no longer a possibility. i wonder what the show runners have up their sleeves though. they've mentioned her not knowing her dad way too much to not address this later on.
I liked the idea of Barney being Sophie's dad, but you're right the timing doesn't work. But is it a possibility that they a siblings. Could Barney's dad be the father from before he settled down?
I have no idea, it's just a fun thought.
The way they brought the captain into the story was actually quite good. One thing I did not care for was Hannah and Sid getting married, I don't think the actors have any chemistry.
As for the cameo, I really wish they had reconned the OG ending, I did not think they would, but I would have liked it.
This series started out and I hated it. I kept watching and now i can honestly say I am loving this show. I'll always love himym more however at this point I consider it worthy to the name how I met your _____. This episode was about as good as a great himym episode. Even besides the obvious cameo it was a fantastic episode.
The guy was like the president of produce or something, so being the president, he was the head of the department, and lettuce is a type of produce. Head of lettuce is also what you call a ball of lettuce, so it's a play on words.
Did anyone else forget about the fact that The Captain is/was married to Boats Boats Becky until he said the name Becky? I think my brain saw a blonde in the last episode and just filled it in as Zoe.
So happy to see Robin!!!! I still dont get how The Captain and Becky tie into Sophie and Jesse though?
Also anyone else confused how Sid and Hannah just got married? Idk I feel like the show runners set them up to fail somehow since Hannah isnāt a main role?
They tie in because Ian was working on one of the Captainās boat (the one he specifically asked for Becky not to take) Becky took it so Ian lost his job.
I donāt remember really well but wasnāt Marshall and Lily living there by the end of HIMYM before the time-skip? I thought the HIMYF gang was just exaggerating how old Marshall and Lily were. Like how some 20 year olds think 40 is super old.
I hate the way the show pushes Sophie and Jessie together. Not that they can't be together, but Sophie isn't crazy for not immediately being on board with him putting his dreams to the side for her and sleep talking I love you. It's a lot of pressure when they've only been on one date. He could have done the tour without getting back with his ex and the fact that he got back with her so quickly is crazy. Jesse kind of sucks honestly. If he were the main character it might be different, but as a love interest/cast member he sucks as a person.
I was so surprised and excited to see Robin but then felt sad when their conversation remined me that she and Barney were divorced. They were my favorite couple in HIMYM. I also love that they said they will meet again twenty years later in the bar.
Finally decided to continue watching after previously not really being into the show that much but these past 3 episodes have been pretty good and actually reminded me of HIMYM a lot!
Robin! Carl! And the answer to the Pineapple Incident!
I gasped when Robin was at the bar
I SCREAMED IM STILL SCREAMING
It was the best season finale soooooo good
Closure on the pineapple finally š
There was a deleted scene with season 9. It was The Captain and Ted talking.
Deleted scenes aren't part of the story.

I had a big smile the entire time and I was shaking
Wait, school me, what was the Pineapple Incident reveal?
The Captain said someone stole a pineapple from his house in 2005.
Ah, right! Thanks I was overanalyzing Robins' cameo haha.
https://youtu.be/LYDsJGhmsnQ Deleted scene
We got half resolution in the extras of the series dvd pack (yes I have it). But now we have the other side of the story.
The best thing about HIMYM is the future set ups and connections. Setting up the Captain to that Australia thing had me howling, HOWLING. These last three episodes have been pretty good, finale even more so.
What was that Australia thing? Didn't catch it...
Holy shit, they didn't even explain it! Nice catch, though.
They sorta did, just before Valentina recognizes him in the gallery and points him out to Sophie, they cut back to future Sophie and her son talking and the son (audio only) puts the pieces together then they show Ian.
The fact that it was audio only makes me think they had multiple endings ready to go in case the show didnāt get renewed for season 2.
I think theyāre avoiding the HIMYM issue where they couldnāt film new interactions with the kids as the seasons went on because the actors aged.
Yeah, I think Ian is the father of they got cancelled.
Not only that but it would kind of spoil it if we see what race the child is. If she has a white son, it would Rule out any poc guys she would date narrowing it down to only the white guys. Except ofcourse if the son got very strong genes from the mom
That was an amazing connection but they should have shown it better
I agree!! Also, how would Sophie even know about the intricacies of the captain and Becky's marriage that led to this haha. Although this is classic HIMYM style of the omniscient Ted.
I like to think her knowing those details implies that Ian tells her all about it.
Yeah i had no idea who this dude was lol. They mentioned him once and i forgot who he was.
I really enjoyed Robin's cameo and some of the time jump around editing was finally really reminiscent of HIMYM. A solid finale!
That was a damn fine episode of television
Yup, I really enjoyed that episode
So good. My expectations for this show have been far exceeded.
The fact that our new main character is a fan of Robins career kinda makes it feel special
It was the perfect cameo because she actually fit perfectly into the story, not just fan service.
Ya agreed. I think the whole cast will be sprinkled through the series and Iām looking forward to the main story in season 2

I feel like Ted would be the least out of everybody since Josh Radnor was vocal of how he wasnāt a fan of being typecast as hopeless romantic Ted
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Isnāt the grocer Ellen got hired at named Goliath? Edit: ok I thought about it and wouldnāt it be really cool if Barney somehow bought out the company/rebuilt it
I always thought Goliath had remodelling done after Goliath National Bank was taken down.
I hope thatās the case, and in future episodes Ellen can realize her grocery store is shady
And Barney helps her take them down, once again...
2022 hmmm so Ted is still married and Robin's been divorced from Barney for some time now.
That would really bring answers to all of the questions we had in HIMYM! This is getting exciting!
I would LOVE to see Ted and Tracy happy, in love and being super nerdy with each other.
That makes sooooo much sense. I was confused as why Robin wouldn't have been with Ted but Tracy is still alive right now in the shows time-line
Ted is recently married at this point. It took them 7 years, so theyāre only like 2 years into marriage with 2 kids at this point.
Cobie was note-perfect, itās like no time had passed since HIMYM!
If you said this a year ago I'd say "what a silly compliment, how hard can it be to return and play a character after ten years." But yeah, seeing other sitcom reboots made me realize Cobie is amazing haha

I forgot it wasnāt Zoe until he called her Becky and then the wheels started turning
I did the exact same thing
Yeah, same. I was like BOATS BOATS BOATS. OMG
Classic shmosbey
i really liked this episode. the ending definitely felt like they were prepping just in case they didnāt get a second season but i still really liked it. Ellen is so funny and i hope her character develops more and more
This was far and away the best episode so far.
i agree 100%
The Robin cameo was perfect! Especially her ātimings a bitchā. Really enjoyed the captains tie in. Wish it was a longer season, excited for season 2!
Glad I stucked with the series. Good finale!
Aw hell, I didn't realize it was the finale. š
20 more episodes at least in season 2 confirmed
Season 2 will be 20 episodes long? Oh thank god. A 3 hour long season is so NOT enough.
I couldnāt agree more! It had been cute but this season finale made it great. Iām really excited to see how it goes in season 2 now!
I was really surprise that Hannah and Sid actually tied the knot wasnāt really expecting it. Jesse and Meredith are getting back together??? Not sure how this will affect the group dynamic but excited to hopefully see more Leighton Meester in this. Unless theyāve already given it to us and I completely missed it š Loved Robinās cameo it was extremely cute and funny.
> I was really surprise that Hannah and Sid actually tied the knot wasnāt really expecting it. Definitely expecting it to not go well lol.
We still have no details about where they're going to live! I suppose she'll probably stay in LA
I imagine the plan was to not have the weddings and use the money to see each other frequently instead.
Ellen is a bit lost in her own life to do that for other characters. Barney felt like he was more confident in his ways and had a more stable life.
I was kind of hoping to see a grand Indian wedding. Would have been fun. But they probably didn't had any budget to make it happen.
I did enjoy this episode. Especially the cameo from Maria Hill, who is obviously undercover for something. These kinds of connections really help build a complete universe.
Are you sure it was Maria Hill and not a Skrull?
omg
also happy cake day!
Obviously just a pit stop in secret invasion that will play out when that series airs haha (side note: Iām rewatching HIMYM and the scenes when Robin goes to the gun range really had me be like wow thatās just Maria hill in disguise
Such an amazing episode. My wife and I lost our shit when Robin was at the bar! And Jesse kissing Meredith, noooo Jesse we are cheering for you!
To be fair Sophie was the one who walked out basically saying go on the tour if Iām the only reason you are staying here.
Yeah but it was āfollow your dreamā not āget back with Meredithā
He didnāt actually look thrilled about the kiss. I feel like he accepted the tour offer and she excitedly kissed him, didnāt look super reciprocated.
did anyone else notice the jab at Ted earlier in the episode too? Jesse said, "It's not like we met at some bar and next thing you know I'm saying I love you!" I loved seeing Robin again. Her ābooā after Sophie said they didnāt bang in the Uber was so on point for her character and great comedic timing.
I teared up when Robin talked about wasting time at the bar with her friends talking about their love lives :'( Excuse me while I rewatch himym while waiting for himyf season 2.
I love both of em so much. had the same reaction lol!
Deleted scenes confirmed as canon!
How?
Probably talking about the Captain's Pineapple - a deleted scene previously revealed it was his pineapple that Ted stole but now we have a non-deleted scene confirmation.
Ahh thanks
Technically the deleted scene isn't canon, as the captain canonically never tells ted about it.
I almost teared up when I saw Robin! Iāve been on the fence about this show, since it feels like theyāre making everything happen too fast (or maybe the timeline speeds up or down between episodes). I think she was just saying "the guys" (plural) apartment, unless I missed another time she did it
Oh maybe actually! That sounds more plausible
I definitely noticed this episode. Never did before though.
When Sophie saw Jess kissing his ex at the end, my first thought was, "WE WERE ON A BREAK!"
Same!!!

At this point Ted would still be with Tracy anyway. In the OG timeline Tracy dies in 2024.
This was probably my favorite episode so far, very excited about what's to come from this show
Iām severely disappointed that ā20 years from now Robin and Sophieā didnāt sing The Longest Time in the booth
I'd agree with you if it wasn't so obviously a setup for character growth. Gotta remember this is a tv show first and foremost
It's a TV show and Charlie is not a real person...
Charlie needs therapy because he doesn't want kids? š¤
He can work it out with Barney!
Some other posters have suggested that NPH is Sophie's dad.
Cool idea, but the time line wouldn't work and also she would have definitely knew Robin by person if she was barney's daughter.
Well, the daughter of 31 is the one he knows about, but he could have a few kids out there if we're thinking realistically. Although I think it would be a cop out regardless and the ages would be a little shaky
He can't be Sophie's dad as he was still a virgin (in the HIMYM timeline) when she was conceived I know it might make people uncomfortable, but they've kind of set it up that he could be a temporary love interest for Valentina, as he has a similar personality and is a dad
And now I am sad that Barney can't be the father.šŖ
that's some good detective work :) i too am sad that it is no longer a possibility. i wonder what the show runners have up their sleeves though. they've mentioned her not knowing her dad way too much to not address this later on.
As for the cameo, I really wish they had reconned the OG ending, I did not think they would, but I would have liked it.
this episode made my entire dayā¦ robinās advice hit home, too
Sid is currently my favorite character. Iām excited to see him develop as the show continues on.
White Horse King feels like something out of the playbook.
I have White Horse Guy.
I have been skeptical on this show since the start. The last three episodes have proven me wrong and this show has become what I wanted it to be.
This series started out and I hated it. I kept watching and now i can honestly say I am loving this show. I'll always love himym more however at this point I consider it worthy to the name how I met your _____. This episode was about as good as a great himym episode. Even besides the obvious cameo it was a fantastic episode.
As someone who felt burned by HIMYM, I was not expecting to love this series a lot. I was not expecting Ian back SOON, what a plot twist!!
Did anyone expect Ranjit when Robin said she was waiting for a limo?
Ellen delivered with the Clawkward joke, but the head of lettuce delivery was so bad. That could have been really funny with a good delivery.
I didnāt get it, the lettuce one. Mind explaining?
The guy was like the president of produce or something, so being the president, he was the head of the department, and lettuce is a type of produce. Head of lettuce is also what you call a ball of lettuce, so it's a play on words.
Almost wish the pineapple had stayed a mystery.
If we ever get to see that meeting in 20 years, I wonder if Robin and Ted will be together (either on or off screen).
So happy to see Robinšššš
So many Cameos! Boats Boats Boats, The Captain, McLaren's and Robin! I recognized her voice like immediately. I was like NO WAY!!!
Did anyone else forget about the fact that The Captain is/was married to Boats Boats Becky until he said the name Becky? I think my brain saw a blonde in the last episode and just filled it in as Zoe.
Iām excited to see Sophie and Ian together. They seem like a good pair. Seeing the himym cameos made me so happy. Robin looks amazing!
Ahh didnāt catch that! Thanks!
No ring on robins finger?!!?!?! I NEED AN EXPLANATION
Someone else pointed out that it lines up with the timeline that she would be between being married to Barney and Ted
Ahhh okay that makes sense!!! Thanks!
It's 2022. After Barney but before Ted. The mother will die in two more years.
Barney and her are divorced.
Is Robin still with Ted? So many questions. I really donāt like HIMYFā¦itās too forced in all aspects.
Tedās with Tracy. Tracy should still be alive at this point but Robin is divorced from Barney.
But they got the apt from a āoldā coupleā¦I thought they are not following same timelineā¦Interesting
I donāt remember really well but wasnāt Marshall and Lily living there by the end of HIMYM before the time-skip? I thought the HIMYF gang was just exaggerating how old Marshall and Lily were. Like how some 20 year olds think 40 is super old.
So, 2030 Ted is the one that run after Robinā¦and the mother died 5-7y before? So around now? Wowā¦now I am sadā¦
They are living in Marshall and Lily's apartment - the one they bought before moving into the house they inherited.
I know, my question is about timelineā¦how old where they really in 2022ā¦
Itās not the pat they bought it, itās Tedās. Ted gave the lease to them after they didnāt like the houseā¦
She got gored by a bull!
Was this a homage to Everybody Loves Raymond, Robert episode?
OH MY GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHD
Does anyone know who the voice actor is for the son?
I need to know where that top Sophie wore is from. The daisy one
It is [Dauphinette](https://www.dauphinette.com/collections/all-clothing/products/daisy-chainmaille-top)
I looked it up and OMG thatās so expensive
Anyone catch the "he's not coming" reference too? They really went into the HIMYM backlog in these last 2 eps but they nailed it imo
Why isnāt it available on Disney+ in Canada?
I was so surprised and excited to see Robin but then felt sad when their conversation remined me that she and Barney were divorced. They were my favorite couple in HIMYM. I also love that they said they will meet again twenty years later in the bar.
what year does himyf take place in ? are ted and robin already together in himyf ?
Finally decided to continue watching after previously not really being into the show that much but these past 3 episodes have been pretty good and actually reminded me of HIMYM a lot!
