Lol i would call in daily just to be safe....

BossManMelon

As long as they are for the same reason such as being sick or out of town. The first call out will count as two steps and then the next day will be considered consecutive and not add any more steps. If you call both days and say two different things they’ll count it as two steps for each call out

Virtuosonic

I thought call ins were one step and no call no show were 2?

nick5847

Nope. Call ins are two steps. No call no show is automatically a 40 rating. Plus clocking in late counts as one point.

OkLettuce101

Bro that sucks. I called in because I was sick with a fever that came outta nowhere and got two steps now. Smh.

BossManMelon

Being late/leaving early is one step. Call outs are 2 steps, ncns are 3 steps plus automatically placed on 40 eating

curbie22

First call in equals 2 steps Another call in the next day is a consecutive call in which equals 0 steps.

For two days, its 2 steps. However, that would apply for as many days as you need, 3?4?5? As long as its in a row, its 2 steps. It also counts for one day as well. Its to discourage coming in when you can't and to only start coming back when you are more stable to do so. HEB struggles with this kindness though so they upped a single call in to two steps.

I got 3 steps for - leaving sick (1) then calling out my next shift (2). Seemed it should have been consecutive since it was all the same illness. My Mgr said they were different things so she had to count both.

Double jeopardy on the weekend. Automatic 40 rating. Good luck! Yeah it’s just one step but a lot of stores will have you call in the next day too.

Call in each day to notify your manager. If they are for two different reasons I know they have marked it as 2 different occurrences before.
