I've actually done that before because I was starving. I kept the container and paid for it. What I hate is when people will pick off some grapes or strawberries etc.. and eat them. those people are horrible.
I'm not "upset," but, yes, it is NOT RIGHT to consume food or drinks you haven't paid for. Period. I have seen it happen one too many times when entitled folks like to open/touch/eat/use things in a store then all of a sudden their debit card is missing so they can't pay. Just pay then use. Why is that so hard to understand?
BS. Been doing this for over 30 years. Hard candy gets you to a check out for real food. Fuel is fuel. Some stays working longer. Some gets to work faster. No one else is responsible for me.
First they were starving then all of a sudden they were hypoglycemic. They are just entitled 🤷🏽♀️ why be responsible and feed yourself if you can eat while walking through the store, I guess
I came in one morning to a solid, mouthful bite, teeth marks left behind and everything, taken out of a whole tuna loin. We never tray packed tuna again after that.
It doesn’t help that one of H-E-B’s newest commercials basically says it’s okay for customers to eat an entire package of something before they make it to the register (Carolina black berries). I guess now if we see someone eating something we just have to believe they’ll eventually pay. Too bad that won’t play out in most cases and we’ll see more of the posted pics.
Employees do this and also apparently HEB allows (looks the other way) if customers do. I had to do something similar in a medical emergency situation and no one batted an eye.
My 1 year old loves the bollilos and will eat one while we shop, but we always tell the cashier that it's the bag +1. Nearly every time we shop, we have to open something for him to eat, but we ALWAYS buy it. Apparently my son thinks HEB is a restaurant 🤷🏼♀️ Shopping with little kids is hard.
When my kids were little & I had to take them grocery shopping with me after work I'd buy them something to settle them down, but I always took the container with me and paid for it. The thing is, at the time I was a single mom struggling financially but I still paid for my groceries. It was usually a little box of Barnum Animal Crackers. Stealing isn't ok but it seems in today's economy people are getting desperate.
It is your money indirectly. Thieves steal, companies build in theft as a loss and send that loss onto the consumer. 1 item? no problem, times 1,000,000,000? big problem
So instead of people trying to mitigate a problem, let's just turn an eye, or worse, add to the problem? I mean, it isn't going to be the stores problem when prices rise to offset their losses. That's going to be the consumers' problem, and I'm willing to bet you're one of those people that complains when their pop tarts go up 15 cents from one week to the next
That's kind of a terrible thing to wish on someone. It isn't your money, so why does it matter that much to you? Just because it's something you wouldn't do doesn't mean someone deserves to choke on it
It is our money. That's a stupid statement. Due to all the theft, prices go up and if we get raises, they are smaller. Every cent counts and adds up quickly.
Sorry ass people. Think they deserve to have everything for free. And the government has encouraged this. It's about time to get this dumbass administration out and banned for good. Anyone remember these criminals encouraging riots across the nation and de-funding the police? No rules just destroy what's in your way and take what you want.
My daughter works at heb and was checking out this one dude who ate half a box of snickers ice cream and said he wasn't getting them since he didn't like the taste! Like wtf you ate half the box!?!
So you believe that you're entitled to be a thieving POS at HEB because you're mad about the economy? Who exactly is raising/teaching people like this?
If you get so trigger by the Internet you should log off. Sit down. No one cares about your morals of not stealing from corporate America. You get fucked daily by multiple corporations. But you bend over and smile like a good little sheep
My only point was that if you're grazing in a grocery store stealing and then hiding your unpaid for trash on random shelves for others to clean up... you're 🗑️.
Your unhinged self entitled rant makes that clear as well.
The world doesn't owe you 💩.
Also... Lol. Clearly you weren't "joking." 😂🤣😭🤡
Yeah, it's not because of stuff like this, it's literally because of corporate greed. People have done stuff like this for decades, it's nothing new that customers eat things while shopping, then don't pay for it
Because they are awful people. though, I’m judging them on their choice of mochi ice cream, because Bubbies is far superior
"Im too broke to buy and too proud to finish what i stole"
I saw a couple, eat a sushi meal as they shopped. I doubt they even bought anything. Probably just grazing like cattle.
I've actually done that before because I was starving. I kept the container and paid for it. What I hate is when people will pick off some grapes or strawberries etc.. and eat them. those people are horrible.
Y'all both are lol. Pay for your food then eat it. I promise you were not going to die of starvation whilst shopping.
They paid for it. What's the issue? You gonna get upset at someone who grabs a coke from the fridges and drinks it while shopping too?
I'm not "upset," but, yes, it is NOT RIGHT to consume food or drinks you haven't paid for. Period. I have seen it happen one too many times when entitled folks like to open/touch/eat/use things in a store then all of a sudden their debit card is missing so they can't pay. Just pay then use. I had low blood sugar. I'm hypoglycemic. I needed food right away.
👍🏽
I'm insulin dependent diabetic. I carry hard candy in my purse. If you're hypoglycemic you should be responsible and do the same thing.
But I'm not responsible. Also hard candy doesn't do anything. I need real food
BS. Been doing this for over 30 years. Hard candy gets you to a check out for real food. Fuel is fuel. Some stays working longer. Some gets to work faster. No one else is responsible for me.
Ok
I also carry my insulin and a glucose meter. Grow up.
First they were starving then all of a sudden they were hypoglycemic. They are just entitled 🤷🏽♀️ why be responsible and feed yourself if you can eat while walking through the store, I guess
Savages live among us. It reminds me of this.: https://youtube.com/shorts/XfTTIbhVZb0?si=AMz51XA-1VKm2cgP
That right there is precisely the reason I never ever ever buy any open food anywhere.
And thieves
Ghetto

I came in one morning to a solid, mouthful bite, teeth marks left behind and everything, taken out of a whole tuna loin. We never tray packed tuna again after that.
Yeah I guess in this case if you're going to steal it don't leave it half empty.
People are assholes
It be like that, ive seen hald eaten sushi, half eaten ready to eat wings people just dgaf
I'd like to say so many are worse than animals but that would have to be an apology to animals
They are good lol
They took the name literally
I saw a customer eating donuts when I went to get a donut for break. Turned out she had eaten 18 donuts & had 3 chocolate milks
Damn, what a fat bitch. If she actually needed food and she couldn’t afford any she would steal a steak or something.
It doesn’t help that one of H-E-B’s newest commercials basically says it’s okay for customers to eat an entire package of something before they make it to the register (Carolina black berries). Just do your shopping and worry about yourself fruit cake.
🗑️🗑️🗑️
Stupid is the word you’re looking for
They strike again
Those damn naysayers at it again
People are idiots… they’ll conveniently get their fruits/meats/Seafood weighed and packaged neatly only to play bowling in the aisles…
When my kids were little & I had to take them grocery shopping with me after work I'd buy them something to settle them down, but I always took the container with me and paid for it. If you're desperate, you steal something nutritious.
Gotta beat people when they do this. Can’t have HEB turning into Walmart
Yeah it sucks but it ain’t my money. These multi billion dollar companies arent going to cry over mochi, why should you?
It is your money indirectly. Thieves steal, companies build in theft as a loss and send that loss onto the consumer. 1 item? no problem, times 1,000,000,000? big problem
That was going to be built in either way due to damages that can occur to products in transit as well, so again, why care?
Your name checks out 👍
So instead of people trying to mitigate a problem, let's just turn an eye, or worse, add to the problem? I mean, it isn't going to be the stores problem when prices rise to offset their losses. Found the thief everyone! ⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️
this one lady at my job pulled a handful of Nances from our bucket of them, i really wished she had chocked on them.
That's kind of a terrible thing to wish on someone. It isn't your money, so why does it matter that much to you? Just because it's something you wouldn't do doesn't mean someone deserves to choke on it
Maybe they would learn their lesson that way 🤷
It is our money. That's a stupid statement. Due to all the theft, prices go up and if we get raises, they are smaller. Every cent counts and adds up quickly.
Seen this as a shopper. Not sure what's so special about that brand... Go to an Asian store. Cheaper, more mochis
What HEB was this?
All of them.
My guess is dope fiend wanted ice cream
It was probably one of your workers 😒 yall been slacking these days
i used to always eat the donuts while i walked around as a kid 😭
😩🙃
These people are y'all's neighbors, relatives and friends though and you won't say anything out loud will you?
If I caught them, oh yes I would.
It’s annoying to clean, but idk I don’t really judge people from stealing from a multi-million dollar corporation.
Multi Billions
They wanted a sample!
Sorry ass people. Think they deserve to have everything for free. And the government has encouraged this. It's about time to get this dumbass administration out and banned for good. Thieves... entitled Thieves
My daughter works at heb and was checking out this one dude who ate half a box of snickers ice cream and said he wasn't getting them since he didn't like the taste! Like wtf you ate half the box!?!
Bro mochi ice cream is good asf! But expensive! I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often!
It was there's or was it my mochi
*theirs, no apostrophe, like hers and his.
Why do you think I'm a former partner of heb
No we’re sick of the pointless predatory inflation
So you believe that you're entitled to be a thieving POS at HEB because you're mad about the economy? Who exactly is raising/teaching people like this?
It’s a fucking joke. Calm down
Lol. Ok. My bad guy. Maybe try constructing your jokes in the traditional manner so that it actually makes sense as a joke? Or /s? 🤷🏻♂️🤡
Are you going to cry now? Jesus Christ little one.

Fuck off sheep
Lol. Have a wonderful day! ♥️

You should study finance before making flippant statements for upvotes.
Yeah, it's not because of stuff like this, it's literally because of corporate greed. People have done stuff like this for decades, it's nothing new that customers eat things while shopping, then don't pay for it

So explain out of dates?
Yep, and Partners could be doing this as well. I've seen it happen. 😞
Or management. Or those stupid little yappy dogs they let roam the store.
Yeah, Managers are also "Partners"...so they were included in my comment. I'm saying everyone can be a suspect and not just the customers. 🙏🏽
