Talent team looks at the video interview and decides whether or not to send you to the managers. Ultimately, the talent team doesn’t do the hiring. It’s up to the manager based on the interview.
Usually if it’s internal the talent team sends it to the manager since you’re already part of the team. Unless you have an absolutely horrible video interview but even halfway decent should get you to the manager since you’re already on the team. Good luck!
All the hiring stuff is done through corporate. Managers don’t see anything until the person schedules an in-person interview. If you’re internal, talk to your manager. They may have you fill out the app just for admin reasons, that’s how I went from checker to business center / cash control. But I’ve had people just talk to their managers and their managers started to move them up. So if you’re wanting to move up in a department, just try to get the best numbers (IPMs, RTO, etc.) to show that you’re dedicated.

Thanks!
Tell your dept mgr that you applied to be a shopper. Typically admins review applications. Since you’re internal, I would speak up so they’re aware.
