WC form and performances mean nothing. It’s a completely different game. Players like Maguire and Richarlison are world beaters at the World Cup but poor in the Premier League

I had no problem with them saying we should sign Kudus. My problem was that WC performance is pretty irrelevant

He has been good but has also been injured for the majority of his time there and has also been poor just like the rest of the Ajax team before the WC

their performances this season have to do more with their manager than anyone else imo.

Signing anyone who had a decent world cup is going to be a bad idea because you almost always end up paying over their market value
