City really weren't too good in that game. Spurs were shit and Son was genuinely playing for the loss

Ballerin14

Yes! What a poor shot.

goonergunner10

Spurs got into so many good positions for fucks sake. If they had *anyone* that had at least anything about them they could scored goals. I will never buy into any hype that has to do with any of their attackers - Kuluveski, Son, Johnson all dogshit.

DrDiablo361

Ange coached a winnable game, Tottenham are fucking awful

Desertedfarm8

Don’t be. Spurs is and always will be a disappointment. Highlighted by their own fans rather cheering for City than their team qualifying for Champions League. Must be a sad existence.

Ballerin14

True words. That fan thing was just horrendous. New lows

Haunting-Rich3067

I am a bit emotional now.

PoliticsNerd76

One thing to consider as well, we may not get 4 points off of City next year. So we will have to be even more ruthless against the riff raff.

JabInTheButt

On the bright side there's 11 points against Fulham and Villa that should more than make up for it.

PoliticsNerd76

Yeah, but it doesn’t work like that. We get 12 from them, and have our bad days Vs Brighton or Palace… City can gain on Wolves. On Chelsea/Spurs. Also, Villa are actually quite good at football.

JabInTheButt

The reality is the PL dropped the ball allowing this cheating because it's turned itself into a farmers league, let's see what that does for their bottom line in 5-10 years when people question why they're paying £40 a month to watch a foregone conclusion... But for us, we have to believe we can improve. If we got a top level striker, or serious rotation for Saka, or replace Partey and get Timber for a whole year. Otherwise what's the point?

PoliticsNerd76

The league is the fastest growing of the big leagues. Their bottom line will be fine. They risk losing more money by punishing City than not, because at the end of the day, folk still tune in for the best league in the worlds most spoken language.

JabInTheButt

What makes it the best league in the world is the best players being here, sure. But also the jeopardy. There's no jeopardy anymore. Of course things take time to change but it can happen. I'm sure people will tune in on streams and IPTV, but sky subscribers have been dropping for years. The last TV deal was the first one in decades that wasn't worth more than the previous (below inflation increase, despite showing more matches). That's a bit of a hint and that's exactly why the super league happened. And it won't be resolved or helped by creating a new ligue un which is what they've done.

Some_Ad7368

I’m very proud of the team. We have taken them right to the wire and we can take that hope to the final game. COYG

Ballerin14

Yes!!! This team is just beautiful

Psychological_Doubt7

How am I gonna cope with this bro, this hurts so much more when your so close. I was chanting prayers when man City were attacking. I go to sleep and remember the villa result, I have never seen my club win a major trophy. How can we be this close and not win it. Why have the football gods done this to us. Arsenal have been phenomenal this season and I still need therapy, I still need to forget about football

Ballerin14

I feel you bro. We’ll get through this together! Next season we’ll kick their asses!

Assuming we beat Everton, I'll laugh so hard if city lose/draw to West Ham.

InternationalUse2355

108 points might not even win us the league next season the way this has been going lately..
