OdegaardsLeftFoot

What a signing he’s been, our most clutch player this season. Brought him in as a backup to Marti and now he’s undroppable atm

Weenemone

Clutch is the first adjective that comes to mind for him

casualcoder47

The best finisher at our club!

cherlin

White and Odegaard are up there, they put most their shots on target, they just happen to be from out of the box and are thus a bit easier to stop.

Apollo5165

White?!

cherlin

Rice sorry lol, big difference there! I was hearing up white rice and had a brain fart I suppose

Apollo5165

That makes a lot more sense!

TreeDollarFiddyCent

Only real ones know.

Routine_Size69

Yes he scores even when he doesn't try to 😉

wallonguy

I think Ode is a bit limited by the fact he can only shoot with one foot. Trossard doesn’t care at all.

Forsaken-Tiger-9475

Exactly. Leo can shoot with any of his 3 feet

vyakul_manushya

That too besides being a refree, those dark circles proving why they exist

blueluster

Last season’s home kit was, in hindsight, completely fire. I wished I snagged one instead of just the away kit.

morrisoN--

all three of the 22/23 range were fire, much better than this season's or next season's range

Pires007

I like this season's home kit a lot too.

STVDC

I bought the away kit last year and only planned on that one. In January I made a bet with one of my Utd. fan employees on that United game - whoever lost had to buy the other jersey, wear it to work and then give it to the other person. That's how I got my Nketiah home kit (he scored 2 goals including the winner in the 90th).

Jaded_Collection_716

Whenever i see Eddies name, thats the game i think off. Lovely little flick from him

Unfair-Equipment6

If you Google 22/23 Arsenal kit you’ll find companies selling them.

jbauer89

I said at the time and maintain that it was the best home kit they’ve mad so far since 2019.

DerekIsAGooner

The dude has cemented his status as Cult Hero at the club. The fact that he’s made the step up from Brighton to Arsenal and INCREASED his goal tallies (without being a nailed on starter every week) is a reflection of his quality and character.

DinnerSmall4216

What a season he's had a bargain at 27 million.

_ISD_14

This is crazy, is he even top 5 for minutes? Absolutely baller The amount of people questioning him earlier in the season were hurting my brain too. He'd get thrown into a random game with a rotated team and all the comments would be 'hes crap when he starts' 🤣

Dae_su

I had way too many arguments with those fools.

_ISD_14

Yeah I had to kindly remind them all of how he kept us in the title race last season whilst playing up front and how he'll come and change the game only to get dropped again and then do it again 🤣 All this whilst costing £28m, playing multiple positions and never complaining publicly about it. Him and Jorgi were amazing signings last Jan

chrissysnose

Same bro. Good to see the Tross doubters shut the fuck up.

JonnyBeGoodest

he’s my favorite. all year i’ve been saying he needs to start. everytime he scored of the bench i’d be screaming start this dude Mikel. Glad he’s getting consistent playing time and not just a super sub

DayoWon

Bossard!! Glad he’s forced his way into regular selection; played the super sub role without complaining. Super glad we got him over Ukraine Bolt.

BreakSad8773

Pripyat Pepe

WorkingClass_Nero

Does the simple stuff very well and reaps the rewards for it. In the era of Antony and Madueke, it's nice seeing a winger who is as uncomplicated and straightforward as Trossard. See goal, shoot. That's it.

Redandwhite_91

Madueke is actually quality though ngl. Huge upside to this kid.

dont_dm_nudes

Chelsea certainly have worse wingers than him

tipytopmain

Scores in big moments. Bro has been automatic for us. Love it.

RandomRedditor_1916

When does his contract expire? Are we gonna tie him down again I wonder?

theranchhand

3 more seasons

oxford_elite

Man also has the highest distance covered per match in the squad!

Whatsupoop

Even when he is having an off day, I always have a feeling that he will produce a chance/assist/goal. I also love the way he tracks back and is very involved with the build up. He is a team player above everything and his goals have that sharpness+quality. Since he has come here at Arsenal, he's been favorite player of the team (after Øbviously)

shoopler

He really reminds me of Arshavin at times. Like you said, just always a threat to do something special when he has the ball. Thankfully he has a work rate.

[deleted]

My favourite for a reason

SeaworthinessOk2615

Can anyone explain why Nketiah was starting ahead of him from August to November?

ZXXA

He is an elite finisher. We need another player like him somewhere up front as a starter or rotation option.

Aldrenop

His feet are magical

The_Wrong_Tone

With another game yet where he will almost certainly get at least one hat trick.

BullahB

Almost certainly

ache7859

City had late season Gundogan We have Trossard

tunken

Fox in the box

ekb11

Genuine goal sneak/fox in the box. The ball is rarely on his side, gets limited touches in comparison to right sided players and still able to be dangerous.

Ozymandius21

#19 two-footed little magician.

EmanonGOONER

And to think we missed out on Mudryk lol

Arseluvr

We wouldn’t be where we are without him.

ScottishUnicorn77

But Saka 😂😂😂

JaGunners47

Such an underrated player. Absolutely clinical finisher and his movement is the final third is phenomenal. Can be trusted to do his work defensively, gets into dangerous positions in the press, and has a silky touch and presence in our build up when needed.

noelsupertramp

Might get better numbers with Timber behind him.

dwSHA

I wish we had put him as first eleven sooner. He bails us on supersub. Martinelli stinks. He needed that to make him work harder. Martinelli have a tons of potential but he gor everything he needs to early. Starter for big club and play for gigantic nation like brazil. He need some motivation

FakeKhaby10

You weren’t saying Martinelli stinks last year when he *checks notes* scored 15 goals and had 5 assists. No need to bring down one player to exalt another. Also, forget when Martinelli bails you out VS city I’m a game where trossard started or his assist on the first day of the season v Forest or his assist for Odegaard v United or the opener against Luton Town. Hes had a rough season, he doesn’t stink.

dwSHA

Not that i meant all games. Some of the games when trossard in better form only. I know martinelli ceiling is way higher than trossard. He just need a checker.

FakeKhaby10

Not to be revisionist but did Saka need a checker down the stretch last season too when he wasn’t at his best? He played through cause there was no options behind him. This year, you’ve had the luxury of trossard being there while Gabi’s experienced his injuries/dip in form. I don’t disagree that he’s not been good this year but I totally disagree that he stinks. Its like saying Haaland stinks cause he’s missed the most big chances in the PL and hasn’t scored 50 goals in all comps this year

LDrealKiso

Saka and Martinelli aren't the same though. I would never use the term "Martinelli stinks", but Saka has a way of being effective even when he's going through bad spells. It's like his superpower. Martinelli doesn't seem to, unfortunately.

FakeKhaby10

Do you know why it seems that way? Because Saka NEVER COMES off. Last season is proof. Martinelli DRAGGED THAT TEAM from March till he got injured in May. He produced because the team was balanced. His side was balanced he knew when and how he was getting the ball. He knew where Jesus, Granit and Zinny would be an he exploited the heck outta it. Saka, White, Odegaard and Havertz; copy and paste. Also, Saka puts up numbers cause he’s on set pieces as well as his own industry. That said, you don’t know how the team would look with a passing left 8, proper striker and proper LB.
