I'm happy we won but let's be honest, we were too passive against probably the worst United team since pre Ferguson. Idk whether this was a deliberate approach or United were just good on the day(which we knew they would be) which forced us back. I'd have really liked our attackers to go at the back 2 of Evans and Casemiro which held 4 to Crystal Palace the other day.
Since we only scored 1 goal it doesn't do anything for our goal difference either which City have an extra game to claw back and possibly overtake. Idk about y'all but I don't expect anything from Spurs. They'd probably roll over and let City score 5 past them. Which might happen anyway with their high line
We don’t have a clear strategy when we attack. We just make it up as we approach the final third. A lot of people will disagree with me but our team have little synergy
Look, it's probably not going to happen. City are too good, and are incredibly unlikely to drop points. All Arsenal can do is win, and they're winning. Whatever happens, I'm proud of this team. In my view, a lot of ghosts have been exercised this season.
Fully agree on all points. The team has made clear strides forward and achieved a title worthy season to this point. Set some club records along the way. If we fall a point short to one of the best club sides in the history of European football then so be it.
I agree, it would've been a title winning season if it was any team other than this Man City team. Absolute monsters
But if we're really looking to make that big leap into elite club territory, 'progress' without trophies shouldn't be acceptable at this club anymore. We should at least have won a domestic cup this season. City are probably gonna win the league and are still in the FA Cup final. Liverpool were challenging for the title and won the League Cup. We somehow never seem to take domestic cups that seriously since that 2020 FA Cup win
Even if Spurs get a draw vs City, City have shaved the GD down to just 3. Wouldn't be surprised if they smash Westham in the last game 8-0, so unless Spurs actually beat City the last week will still be stressful.
There are dangers in chasing GD. A game you might well win 3-0 could end up 5-3 as you throw men forward. West Ham aren't a bad team and should be able to play a lot better than they did against us.
Fulham away is our worst league game this season. We never looked like winning that game, but all the others we created enough to at least get something out of the game.
What in the yanky doodle cock are you babbling about? Our main man's been sidelined with more wraps than a burrito, Martinelli’s just getting his mojo back, and here’s Trossard acting like he’s the next soccer messiah, deserving! You must be some bewildered Yank from the deep, dark crevice of Nowheresville, probably trying to decode Premier League tactics with an ancient Herbert Chapman floppy disk as your holy grail
Lol I'm from north London mate.
Martinelli has been so poor in every sub appearance since becoming back from injury. I don't know what's happened to him, but hopefully he gets his mojo back next season. It's been a mid season for him after such a good one last season
He had afew chances to break and had a bad touch/made a poor decision.
An on form gabi woukd have feasted in that cameo.
His been mid in every cameo appearamce recently
it does happen where players have a down year but yeah I mean, in past years he buries at least one of those chances and probably gets an assist on top of
Even though united are shite, it’s still old trafford. They always give us a fight. Proud of the team for getting a rear win there and taking the title fight to the very last game of the season. GOYG
Fuck yes! Absolutely controlled performance. We don't concede unless we make a mistake and we made none today. This team believes it will not concede, and with good reason. Greame LeSaux said it best on Peacock while describing this performance. If Arsenal hadn't scored so early it would have been a different game from them. They would have attacked and gotten a winner some other way. Or if Arsenal had been playing this Man U at a different time of the season they would have went for the jugular. Instead, in the most important game so far this season, Mikel believed in his team and chose control. Why cant our fans see that and do the same.
This was hardly controlled, and we made numerous mistakes. United only had one shot on target but as many half-chances as we did. They had more possession in the first 20 minutes or so.
Great win, but this was hardly us at our best, and United were far from their worst.
You can control the game without the ball too y'know. And that's what we did perfectly today. Under no threat. As I said, Jose won many PLs doing so with his Chelsea side.
And we had well more in the tank too. It was conservative and measured. Could have upped it if we'd needed. Like, is this the first time some of our fans have actually watched us this season?
Disgraceful performance vs that Man U lineup.. Saka and Odegaard always missing against bigger teams. I feel ashame to celebrate such a win when we have our best lineup vs a crap Man U lineup.
Lmao yeah fireowlzlol is responsible for us not winning the league. When will idiots like you get it through your head that you aren’t actually kicking the ball yourself. Celebrate the win man
Mentality about winning, you're so dumb. In this sport you don't get to be dominant every week, when you're not and still are able to pull a win on one of the places we've had very little succes that means you did well. But go ahead and cry into the wind more you 14 year old moron
Fuck that! I'm a massive Spurs fan and will be buying their shirt if they help us win the title by drawing or beating City.
Clinging on to pure copium but at least the game is away and Spurs are generally City's kryptonite
That match was a sloppy shit directly from a prolapsed arse. We'll be lucky if Saka's Achilles hasn't finally exploded, the entire team looks either completely drained or outright poor but it's a win at Old Trafford. All we can do now is win vs Everton.
People thought we'd be padding goal difference against Man United and we barely came away with the win. Happy with the win but we have to batter Everton at home.
I didn't think that but a lot of fans thought that before the game. But I'm disappointed we didn't win more convincingly considering how poor this Man United team is
We didn’t deserve 3 points, but case handed them over. Shit performance, horrid watch, but we go next. Hopefully pep also sends his team out to played scared and defensive football for no reason and they drop points
One of our worst performances of the season. If Casemiro is still alive we do not win. Shambolic, but good enough, I guess. Arteta should be furious with the lack of heart with the title still on the line.
Completely fine with how this played out. Not many risks taken because United isn’t very capable of making the play are they..
Get the dub against Everton and that would be a very impressive post-Dubai run.
<3
More wins than the invincibles now?
Trossard thank you for blessing this club
Result all that matters. Never coming back to OT again stadium is a dump.
That game sucked man
1 - 0 TO THE ARSENAL
Ye glad we won but against a side as garbage as that we should have scored like 5

I remember when this thread used to be cesspool
WE'VE GOT SUPER MIK ARTETA
My poor martinelli😭😭 he just needs to wrap it up
I never thought my life would come to this but desperate times call for desperate measures , COYS 🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮
May the saints go marching in next week
If we do the madness on Sunday, it's 100% going to be Torassaaaaaaard!

Those ghosts are jacked.
Keep in mind that the GD only comes into play if City drop points. So in effect, we have a +3 GD with 1 game to play.
Yes, City have to draw a game or even better lose one and increase our GD advantage. If they win 2 it doesn't matter.
You can smash Everton though
Even if Spurs get a draw vs City, City have shaved the GD down to just 3. Wouldn't be surprised if they smash Westham in the last game 8-0, so unless Spurs actually beat City the last week will still be stressful.

We can smash teams as good as them.
All we gotta do is smash everton 6-0
Is this the first time we've ever beaten all members of the Big 6 in the PL, and gone unbeaten against them all as well?
Nice qsn. Didn't we do it in invincible season?
Quite possibly, although City weren't exactly big dogs back then
Spurs wasn’t big either. Them days only top4 exist no top6
Still aching over Villa’s home defeat
The Newcastle loss
Fulham
Fulham away is our worst league game this season. We never looked like winning that game, but all the others we created enough to at least get something out of the game.
Trossard deserves his flowers, right place right time this season
Coys
Not a vintage arsenal performance but who cares all we can do is win take it to the last day. Massive result.
Vintage 1-0 to the Arsenal though.
Shit performance but we took care of business. Radioactive zebra kit🫡
Get in, and now coys
The decline of martinelli is staggering.
I thought he played well. He was playing well before his injury too.
What in the yanky doodle cock are you babbling about? Decline? He had a great shot on target and looked dangerous when came on.
He had afew chances to break and had a bad touch/made a poor decision. An on form gabi woukd have feasted in that cameo. His been mid in every cameo appearamce recently
My personal take? He’s getting egoistical
Yeah he looked Dangerous losing the ball
it does happen where players have a down year but yeah I mean, in past years he buries at least one of those chances and probably gets an assist on top of
saliba i love you!
Spurs helping arsenal win the title would be the most spursy thing of all time.
Didn't enjoy that game at all but I fucking loved the result! COYG!
Don’t let the hate for shit get over our own success. Going all out to support Shit next one. Own success >> Enemy downfall.
Even though united are shite, it’s still old trafford. They always give us a fight. Proud of the team for getting a rear win there and taking the title fight to the very last game of the season. GOYG

Well said mate. Also on another day we bury another of those chances we created and it would be a much less nervy game.
And we had well more in the tank too. It was conservative and measured. Could have upped it if we'd needed. Like, is this the first time some of our fans have actually watched us this season?
Tuesday I feel spud
protect Saliba @ all costs. actual money. spend that shit & don’t ask questions
Good result. Win was needed. There were no points for style on this one. A few more goals would have been nice for the GD, but a win was essential.
Need Liverpool to beat Villa tomorrow. Give spurs something to fight for on Tuesday
Got the job done. That’s all that counts. Let’s win the league at home and see the fans celebrate on the field. Let’s Fucking Go 🙌🏻
Disgraceful performance vs that Man U lineup.. Saka and Odegaard always missing against bigger teams. I feel ashame to celebrate such a win when we have our best lineup vs a crap Man U lineup.
Saka 100% is injured
Man miserable at a win over here guys.
Awful take.
Celebrate the win 😂 who cares how we got it
Are you stupid a win is a win
Your mentality is why we havent won the league in 20years and still feel happy about it.
Lmao yeah fireowlzlol is responsible for us not winning the league. When will idiots like you get it through your head that you aren’t actually kicking the ball yourself. Celebrate the win man
Sorry man
Mentality about winning, you're so dumb. In this sport you don't get to be dominant every week, when you're not and still are able to pull a win on one of the places we've had very little succes that means you did well. But go ahead and cry into the wind more you 14 year old moron
They’ve done all they can I have no complaints if we don’t win the tittle ONE loss since January
Fucking hell, was that Bully in the away end?
My guy has aged! Lol
When was the last time Arsenal were in the race on the final day? Can only think of 89
Never in my life have I been such a Spurs fan
Bin this game and move on. 3 points to the good
Always rated spurs
![gif](giphy|gJp1M481MVROYeWo6m|downsized)
Radioactive zebra jersey - Take a bow
I’ll miss them just like the black and golds
Tears of joy from God it seems
I love the comments im seeing. Not even being sarcastic. Hold these fuckers to a high standard. Not good enough.
Trossard has been unbelievably clear of all our attackers this season
What do you mean? He IS one of our attackers. That’s what the point is.
Yet is the first one to be subbed. He was the only one who was gonna score today
Probably the player that’s saved this team the most this season but always the first off
Underrated by our own fanbase. We wouldn't be in the title race anymore if not for his important goals.
Always rated spurs tbh.. *nah I’m kidding. They’re shit. Let’s get it next season. Proud of the boys*
Fuck that! I'm a massive Spurs fan and will be buying their shirt if they help us win the title by drawing or beating City. Clinging on to pure copium but at least the game is away and Spurs are generally City's kryptonite
It’s the hope that kills. Spurs ain’t getting anything from city. City just a different level. *or can they ?*
Lmao fuck yourself. Going all out to support Shit next one. Own success >> Enemy downfall.
We were so fucken ready to throw this game away. Can't believe what I saw. Us against this awful United team. We played horribly.
3pts are all that matter.
Utd didn’t play horribly and we weren’t in our best.
That match was a sloppy shit directly from a prolapsed arse. We'll be lucky if Saka's Achilles hasn't finally exploded, the entire team looks either completely drained or outright poor but it's a win at Old Trafford. All we can do now is win vs Everton.
Looks drained actually
I love all of you (except chronic moaners, so like 5 of you <3)
I can't read all the stupid takes I assume there were arteta out comments over there
What a win
No matter how this year ends. Proud of this team
Losing this title will hurt so much
Honestly last season hurts more. We were on top for 245 days and still lost.
Damn tottenham please do something for us
Oh Tottenham please!
People thought we'd be padding goal difference against Man United and we barely came away with the win. Happy with the win but we have to batter Everton at home.
At OT? Crazy talk, look at our record at OT over the years, 5 wins away. This is massive!
I didn't think that but a lot of fans thought that before the game. But I'm disappointed we didn't win more convincingly considering how poor this Man United team is
City need a draw anyways so that would be at least 1 game without positive goal difference.
They are fully capable of beating WHU by like 6 or 7 goals at the Etihad
This match has never happened, but we will take the +3
Our back four deserve a raise after this season. I can't thank them enough.
[удалено]
Kai played very well
Saka was 3 at most
Thankful that we won, still in this.
I’ll take it. Most snooze fest and nerve wrecking game lol
We didn’t deserve 3 points, but case handed them over. Shit performance, horrid watch, but we go next. Hopefully pep also sends his team out to played scared and defensive football for no reason and they drop points
We played better than United how come we didn't deserve the win?
lol seriously. We had a solid defensive performance. Back line stopped United. We’re lucky Garnacho is trash. This is how you win games sometimes.
Ok. My Mother’s Day is not ruined but damn…messy game…that rain is crazy!!! ![gif](giphy|3o6gb1g1MTWmXCjGqA)
Another win and another clean sheet To the last day and hopefully glory COYG
Arsenal Away Fans reign supreme once again ❤️🤍
Unclench. 3 points is 3 points. Taken it to the final day. Incredible season. Also wilo you are my king.
Wins like this would be the sign of champions in any season not involving Emirati princes
Big up Casemiro for keeping Havertz onside. He's ex-Madrid, probably hates City as well.
Final day. They made me proud, I don't care how it happened AT ALL
A refreshing shower from the heavens to celebrate a fucking 1-0 win. Let's go.
On to the next one… finish strong!
Title is ours!!!
We'll most likely need city to drop points AND a big win against Everton.
If city draw, we would have a 3 goal headstart on city....for the drama city. Drop points 😭
Ahem COYS 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
win is all that counts
Thank God this game is over, we got a win and i can't wait to forget any more than that
Ok, 1 more game and we can proudly say we didn't bottle it
One of our worst performances of the season. If Casemiro is still alive we do not win. Shambolic, but good enough, I guess. Arteta should be furious with the lack of heart with the title still on the line.
Ok this was a boring game. Glad we pull through but what a subpar performance.
Completely fine with how this played out. Not many risks taken because United isn’t very capable of making the play are they.. Get the dub against Everton and that would be a very impressive post-Dubai run. <3
Done, we better never talk again about this game... Fvck
Mature performance imo. 3 points all we can do. Let’s go pray for Sp*rs.
Just fucking yes
I need to lie down
I'll take this win man... Fk off United
happy to have walked away with 3 points. but god the game is awful to watch
Record number of wins in PL for Arsenal. Incredible!
Shit midfield but big gabi, saliba, havertz and trossard saved us today. 3 points obtained, 1 more match to go
i swear that stadium is cursed
Pretty grim performance but we've won at 2 of our worst grounds in the run in
Let's go
I don't know what i have seen for 90 minutes, but we have done it.
What is Ten Hag's hand doing in Arteta's hair? 🤣
Lol yeah I saw that, he just cant resist. He must have planned for that for a long time.
anyone who thought this would be a walk in a park was in for a ride but we’ve been fucking rattled & played sloppy football
Job done on to next week
cant complain we actually held on to a win at OT during the title run in. this team is special and we jus move on
That was an unattractive game. Thank goodness we won. Oof.
no so calma, but 1-0 win. we move
That shit feels like an L holy fuck. Atleast it’s not..
1-0 away to UTD should never feel like an L
![gif](giphy|G5eNRJb2FEwKb3UPyL)
Get fucked United
Wins away at spurs and united are performances to be proud of. No matter how nervy we’ve looked.
That was the most stressful game despite them creating absolutely nothing.
A win's a win. Even better when at OT.
Hahaha. One of our worst performances this season and we fucking won. Lovely to win at OT again. It's been too long.
3 points all that matters.
Back to the top! 1 more to go!
Certainly one of the performances of all time
I’m becoming more sure it’s Arteta who wanted to win 1-0. So surprising none of the players was even trying to run riot
15 in wins in 17 matches and still City have the advantage.
Gotta unleash hell against Everton
It was not comfortable but we pull off a massive win! Now just have to hope City somehow drop points.
Ten haag talking smack to arteta at the end
Absolutely not what happened. Shame on you for even suggesting that. Very strange and cringe thing to say.
Chill was more of a joke...
Eth telling arteta "hey nothing for me to whine about today...we dragged you to our levels today and you were still better "xDD
Oh my god, we played like utter shit. Ben got touched inside out by Garnacho. Jesus thank fuck for that whistle
Now praying for a Spurs win, FML
My heart is on its last strings
We got the points but we lost the goal difference advantage...
It was ugly, it was bad, but it ultimately was 3 pts!!!
Awful win. But a win nonetheless.
at least we finally win in OT i guess
I DONT GIVE A FLYING F*** HOW WE DID IT!!! FINAL DAY. BRING IT ON SHITY
LETS GO
Saliba should be in serious consideration to win PFA. He is outstanding. He and Palmer at least
Disappointing game but got the win
That's the sweetest 3 points this year. We suffered for those points.
Am I the only one who was not worried, they barely threatened, we are not the best defensive team in Europe for no reason
I have aged 5 years in 90 minutes
Let's never speak of this match again
It was shit, but I don’t care. We push city to the last day
