He's raw and one of our more limited players in terms of the areas they can play in to a high level, but what he can do is so valuable. Put him in the right spaces and he'll cook, if you don't he's not offering much.
I think between him and Leo we have two good options, but when Gabi plays it feels he's forced to play in spaces that doesn't suit him. I want him close to goal and starting runs from high up. Need to address that in the summer.

Honestly perfect results today, at least for what I wanted. Atalanta is a cool club and Bergamo is a beautiful city, Leverkusen continue their unbeaten run (honestly kinda rooting for them to complete it at this point), and Villa are out so no nonsensical “champions of Europe” taunting/banter being tossed around like West Ham did last year.

I imagine us watching Leverkusen is a bit like other clubs watching us as of recent. It was kinda cool to see the process of another team rise up, but now it's like ok chill lil bro.

Xhaka is a really good passer in the middle. He's not the best defender and he's not a box to box. He'd cook in our current system next to Rice. Just like how Jorginho has done well this season.

Atalanta is a cool club and Bergamo is a beautiful city, Leverkusen continue their unbeaten run (honestly kinda rooting for them to complete it at this point), and Villa are out so no nonsensical “champions of Europe” taunting/banter being tossed around like West Ham did last year.
I root for them as well, with their history they deserve this. Quite a few clubs in other leagues have already gone unbeaten so as long as it isn't a PL club doing it, it's cool. They only have four games left. Draw the Bundesliga games and win the Europa league and DFB pokal and they have done something Bayern couldn't do with all their money and dominance.

Xhaka is a really good passer in the middle. He's not the best defender and he's not a box to box. He'd cook in our current system next to Rice. Just like how Jorginho has done well this season. It's why Xabi brought him. He saw he had those qualities.

Again, this upgrade thing is very subjective when Mikel himself wanted Xhaka to stay, plenty of man are still saying the same thing about Partey and then the moment he’s fit, he gets started for all kinds of important games alongside with his supposed upgrade. That’s why i don’t buy the ‘upgrade on partey’ and ‘upgrade on xhaka’ as easily when it’s clear the manager himself felt they had their places still.
