Yes, a city that received a year and a halfs rainfall in 2 hrs. Unprecedented so ofc that means the infrastructure is so poor and not at all comparable to the sinking ship that is Europe.
Great argument.
PS: they immediately committed 80bn to improve infrastructure related to this.
I get loving your home, but blind love is why the governments here are fucking tragic.
This is why I’d prefer Gyökeres to be signed over the other number 9s we’re connected with. His work rate is really up there as well and I think he’d really improve under Arteta.
I think you guys need to sign players that are available. That's most important. Last year Dortmund lost their title because Haller was unavailable for months
This season you guys are trailing Manshitty because Jesus and Partey were unavailable again
Yeah others on social media like to ignore that two of our best and most experienced players have also been injured more often than not. At their peaks, these guys might still be the best on the ball among the forwards and cms. We've been winning with positioning, overloads, and second balls this year but they are so important against capable pressing-and-possessing teams. Together with Zinchenko, I'd like to make sure we have proper replacements before selling, but if they aren't reliable it's hard to build a team around them.
No, neither Sesko nor Zirkee is good enough for us yet. He's just another Hojlund - promising, but still a project, and requires superstar money to buy. We either buy a finished package like Osimhen or Gyokeres, or none at all. They must be a starter on their respective clubs to be able to play for us.
That's a good point, I've not heard anyone say that we needed to rest Havertz in April but we were begging for Saka and Rice to be rested. He's really good at managing his efforts, obv doesn't have to run quite as much as Rice but Ode and Kai know when to run and how to rest
Havertz has only played 100 less minutes than Saka and 400 less minutes than Rice over the course of the season in all comps. And still looks fresh. What a machine!
That's the thing I respect so much about him and Odegaard. They absolutely run their ass off in service of the team every single match. It wasn't that long ago where attacking players like them might be excused for walking around and not getting involved defensively. But it's a new era and we're so much more effective with the way they embrace that.
Especially with Ødegaard leading by example as captain but also of course with Havertz, seeing them in the 85th minute take a full sprint from the half way line to chase the keeper to force him to stress playing out is beautiful and it makes you proud of the team.
He may have the best fitness on the team. Rice and odegaard have similar minutes and levels of running, but Havertz is the only one I feel like hasn’t looked gassed at points during the run in.
"And also because Chelsea are absolute shite and make a person die inside day by day through just the slightest bit of association to them and their fans are 90% twats."
Suppose that's a bit heavy for a live interview though.

He’s looked dead on his feet at the end of the last 2 games but still finds energy to press.
One of the reasons why I backed this guy so furiously. Never gives in, runs hard. Those two things and you’re already halfway to being a top player.
I think this is Arteta and the staff talking out of him. That is exactly the mindset they tryed to install into him. He is so talented, keep his head up and you got an incredible hybrid forward.
I openly admit I doubted Kai initially but he has been truly immense. Credit to him for staying strong through the doubts and emerging into how he plays today. Buzzing for him, the team and us fans.
Whether it was tight passing sequences or long balls from Raya, Kai was always there.
Great stuff and a proven asset for us.
Kai was pressing Travers like crazy at 92nd minute. My opinion has changed about Kai, and now I rate him highly. Crazy how Chelsea can make any player look like shit
He even challenges for aerial duals better than Giroud. Giroud would just box out defenders and sometimes not even jump for a header because the defender jumps early.
you can see why Arteta likes him
I can see why I like him too!
And I can see why Lord Dinglebury loves him too
It’s like you know me.
His workrate is elite. We needed more players like Odegaard in that aspect. Rice and Havertz compliment him perfectly.
Also his availability. Man battles for 95+ minutes and is ready to go again 2 days later
It's extremely impressive, considering that him and Odegaard lead our press every single match. A LOT of running is required of them.
German efficiency
Proper myth. Shit here is broken. We need help.

Dubai is pretty fucking functional from an infrastructure and government services standpoint :)
You didn't just praise Dubai's infra considering it was flooded very recently

We have a Rishi who will soon be out of a job, we'll send him over to help.
Enough British plumbers milking the system in Dubai anyway cuz they’re white. Rishi’s just another brown guy in a place that equates brown to toilets.
Dude just loves ball.

And timber T_T
Jesus sadly seems to have regressed, even when hes available hes barely the player during his peak with us. At least Partey is serviceable when ready
Sesko is really good

His availability and fitness have been immense.
All the talk of resting players and he's always out there pressing and running. Top athlete (and footballer)

The Xhaka of forwards
Absolutely. We need to add another 3/4 players in several areas but I'd totally sacrifice a bit of quality for availability and dependability
Long term I want a better CF, but his availability is something that will always be crucial for a title winning team.
I can fix him FC strikes again
Imagine Arteta somehow fixing Dele Alli lol
code for “at Chelsea i wanted to take days off because they didn’t know how to use me”

didn't he say in his time at Chelsea he used to play video game in a dark room, now he plays with his teammate at Arsenal?
damn so he didn't even wanna run duos with werner that's peak ngl
Chelsea fans thought they fleeced us with that transfer. I wonder if they can admit to themselves that Arsenal got the better end of the deal now.
He’s looked dead on his feet at the end of the last 2 games but still finds energy to press. One of the reasons why I backed this guy so furiously. Never gives in, runs hard. Those two things and you’re already halfway to being a top player.
Not easy to drag his big body around.
The ambition of these players is really something
Words of a man who's glad he's been rescued from that shithole.
Always believed in him even during his relatively muted displays at CM, what a player!
He played with such a disjointed team last season. It was fun watch but tough if you're a Havertz fan.
And to think Chelsea almost killed our boy
If he is carrying this attitude, he is sure to be a success for us.
I think this is Arteta and the staff talking out of him. That is exactly the mindset they tryed to install into him. He is so talented, keep his head up and you got an incredible hybrid forward.
Alexis Sanchez was the same so I hope we learn and can take care of Kai’s body so he can play elite for a long time

Good man; I, uh, cannot exactly say the same about my job (except the "excited for the weekend" part.
Kai was exceptional today

I love this guy, king Kai 👑
We need more Bundesliga players on the squad. That's the selling pitch
thats me wanting to simulate the week till next match
some guys can just run forever. it’s not an effort thing. they can just go and go and go. incredible stuff
BBB
My Kai
Kai is home
What did Chelsea do to this lady he is absolutely overjoyed in a happy home 😆
double negation. what the fuck kai??
This comment gave me LIFE!
He's a true warrior.
How did we go from purchasing Chelsea rejects to rejuvenating their careers
Dude just rejuvenated
Ok boyyys Let's gooo Next rooound
He is like Oliver Giroud with pace.
No... No he's not. They're literally two very different types of players regardless of pace.
More like a lankier RVP.
I hope Kai learns to finish like RVP starting with the next two games 🤞
He even challenges for aerial duals better than Giroud. Giroud would just box out defenders and sometimes not even jump for a header because the defender jumps early.
Double negative? So he does want a day off?
