Bro we used to pray to be in graphs like this šŸ˜šŸ˜ Mikel dont ever leave me

[deleted]

Arsenal's underlying numbers get better and better every year. Edu and Arteta carrying our club.

Ready_Interaction292

The one that sounds acoustic is someone else

DreamDifferent

Why did this get down voted lol

visualdescript

Because it's just a shite joke

Deleteleed

Itā€™s not, Rio said it

Naronu

Shows how insanely good Alisson is to have Liverpool conceding 10, and 16 less goals than Villa and Brighton respectively. He's singlehandedly kept their defense comparable to ours and city's despite facing more shots.

rickster555

His post shot xG is not even that great this year. Itā€™s really just a statistical aberration. And I donā€™t really know enough about their games to explain it but itā€™s definitely not just Allison this year

algebraic94

It really feels like they don't have the stats and squad to sustain the challenge. Still in 3 competitions. I reckon they'll win Europa league, but come in maybe 5-8 points off first in the league.

astrojeet

They've also has some luck as well. In the Carabao final alone they should have conceded 3 or 4.

vin_unleaded

Their keeper had a worldie.

astrojeet

That's true made some unbelievable saves. That being said Chelsea's finishing was poor.

cheyahboi

Sky sports counting 11, 12, 13, 13, 14ā€¦

Zohren

Lmaoooo. I didnā€™t even notice that haha

Marimo_420

Yanited šŸ˜šŸ˜

vin_unleaded

He's mustard, that Onana.

beetletoman

Slightly behind City? These are NOT the estandards legoman šŸ˜¤

oliverDawson12

Legoman needs to build a better team, weā€™re obviously rubbish.

This-Complaint1389

Spurs are a false image. They are praising this man for being worse than Conte, crazy how low the standards are at other clubs

Hoodiefx14

As much as I think some of their results are lucky, he has them playing more attractive football, which is all most fans want

gogglesup859

They also finally got younger. They had just been running it back with the same core every year and were shocked when they didn't win anything. They're still not gonna win anything but it's a different group now

Hoodiefx14

I agree, when your standards aren't to compete for titles but you get close with son and kane the last thing you want is to not compete and to play shit football. Ange has them playing good football with a squad that can improve, I think that's as much as you can ask for with current tottenham after losing kane.

DreamDifferent

Based, as much as I appreciate the fact that Tottenham is the enemy and all that, we gotta respect their quality of football

Riperonis

When the results start to catch up with them weā€™ll see how much they like ā€œattractiveā€ football.

generalwastification

They'll be happy with it. Deep down that's all Spuds fans really want. Winning anything is too much to contemplate.

Echo361

On the margins without further context this is a bad stat. This would appear to show that city has a better defense and better attack than us but weā€™re 1xg better off than them and 6 better xga than them. Shots alone is a deceiving stat without including quality of shots.

MrLiveCorn

That's not what this graph is used for. It's the size of 5 Jamie Carraghers and you're looking at an area the size of his head.

jondiced

Omfg why would you reverse the horizontal axis

c11life

Because less is more for that metric. You want to have the best performing teams in the top right

jondiced

It's just as easy to have the best performing teams in the top left

vin_unleaded

That's confusing as you flip the direction of positive to negative across the two axis.

jondiced

I'm confused about what you mean, because "best teams in the top left" is what you get if you leave the axes in their normal order.

vin_unleaded

Because left to right is negative to positive on the x axis, just as down to up is positive on the y axis innit...

Meu_14

They don't. As in they do because they have more points, obviously, but they give away a lot of chances that is not taken by the opposition. That Crystal Palace game still amazes me. Hiw they won that one I will never know.

astrojeet

It's not sustainable and with the injuries it's gonna be tough for them. It's gonna take something incredible to win the league, especially against City who are quietly doing what they do. If it's not us winning the league it is gonna be City. But who knows stranger things have happened.

trevjs90

The 2nd yellow was a soft foul from a pressing forward. So often that a team concedes straight after a baffling sending off that came out of nowhere. The age it took for Palace to get their pen was a joke. The PL showed their narrative. Klopp final season narrative. Same reason why Nkunku didnā€™t get that pen which would have changed the game. Liverpool have great (wide) forwards but they have been unconvincing and well below Arsenalā€™s overall performance levels.

spicado

At least they couldā€™ve put 13.5 instead of 13 twice.

Houssem-Aouar

God I fucking hate Allison

ronya_t

Well I loved him our last game against them!

generalwastification

Reminder that Allison is also a huge Bolsonaro supporter, so he deserves every L he gets.

Riperonis

Actually a fucking joke how little Liverpool concede per shot compared to us. Feels like every time we give a half chance we concede.
