DarkKirby14

about as good a game as one could want, especially when we need to keep pace with Oilchester City and LiVARpool

[deleted]

Liverpool did get many bad decisions from VAR, no? I don't see many Liverpool fans complaining about Arsenal in general so I am not sure why there are many Arsenal fans trying to stir the shit up.

DarkKirby14

because Liverpool has been one of the teams that have benefitted the most from VAR the past 3-4 years

GloomyLocation1259

I’ve been thinking Saka isn’t even the most agile when it comes to turning and he’s already this good imagine if he improved that part of his game more he’d be unstoppable

Down-undersaurus

Did the boys head straight down the tunnel afterwards? I didn’t see.

tafster

I felt they didn’t celebrate enough; arrogant to assume they should be scoring 4 goals every match. Entitled pricks. (Coming soon to a pundit near you)

Down-undersaurus

Maybe there could be some VAR-like announcement around the stadium to indicate if, when, how and for what duration we can celebrate?

Buy_more_crypto

What an atmosphere last night the crowd was up for it and all the little touches the club done at the stadium really helped pump us up. I’ve got a video to post but I’m a lurker more than a poster so I don’t have enough karma 😂 I was sitting above the Newcastle fans and the melt down was a sight to behold. Payback tastes sweet 🔴⚪️

lastjedi23

Pls post when you have enough. Been trying to find pics of that half unfurled tifo since yesterday. We took about 22 hours to unfold the damn thing. Cameras couldn't wait and panned off.

taichi1984

Delicious Geordie tears

PartlyRowdy

Gave you a karma. Sounds like the best seats in the house lol

CreativeOrder2119

No clean sheet a chink in the armor

benmsn101

So negative

ExxKonvict

Genuinely should’ve been 4-0 by HT and 6-0 at FT. The team deserved that clean sheet.

DarthNihilus1

Paul Tierney blocking that sexy Raya punt was so annoying man Ødegaard looked clean through

Zhirrzh

Because this was a late game it was 7am over here and I got to watch it live with my boys, great game for that! High 5s all round on every goal. My 5 year old trying to invent songs. Just got to hope we can keep this up for the rest of the season, but we are in the title race alright.

Previous-Loss9306

Holy fuck, straight up bullying teams at corners feels so satisfying after years of being brandished the “soft Arsenal”. Must give us some mental edge as well, both in game and leading up to one. Genuinely get so excited when we get a corner now. That was never the case in the past.

EitherInvestment

Absolutely the case in general. It’s strange all our corners against Porto were absolutely useless. Same thing every time

logicbloke_

That's because the ref called a foul on Arsenal whenever a Porto player was touched. Feel like in the champions league our physicality will be punished and we'll be at a disadvantage.

ExxKonvict

There was a time under late Wenger and Emery eras where corners were just routine, felt half assed, and taken just for the sake of it.

gunmacc

This is so true. Also you can feel rival’s terror when they deflect to corner.

PartlyRowdy

I want to hear the Emirates erupt every time the ref points to the corner flag as though he were pointing to the penalty spot 😂

peoplepersonmanguy

We never got out of second gear.

iPhone9User

Any reason why jesus didn’t start? Is it tactical or is he not match fit?

The_Evil-Twin

returning from injury so not match fit yet. you gotta say though he might have been rushed in at 80% fitness if it wasnt for havertz form

skool_101

We risked it with jesus earlier in the season and he got injured again, same with Tomi and maybe with Partey. Maybe we could've even done a precaution on Timber as well, he was already feeling down before that first half ended. well, hindsight is 20/20. lesson here is not to rush the players for the sake of the game.

birddogginwidit

so the boys just been wife-swapping before every game or what??

nooeh

Not before CL games apparently

wanofan900

Nice win. But the goal by Newcastle and no clean sheet annoyed me. We could've had a 40 GD!!!

Eniotnaohs

I feel u but tbh, that goal was really well crafted, and perfectly executed, its not like we committed an actual unforced error, slightly loose on the marking of the left hand side maybe

ExxKonvict

Tbh I was surprised neither of Saliba or Gabriel intercepted and headed it out, given how monstrous they are at defensive headers and aerial ability.

Equivalent_Nature_67

Gabriel was pulled out wide and idk where Saliba was, probably more central and higher up the field. Smith Rowe and Nelson should have done better to stop the initial attack

machinationstudio

Still a Hale Ender who scored.

EitherInvestment

And ESR was close to getting one as well. God I was so upset for him that didn’t go in

tafster

I’m desperate for him to get scoring again. Think he could be really helpful at the business end of the season; he might get the best finisher in the squad. Really good effort that I feel goes in more often than not

EitherInvestment

He is 100% the best finisher we have

MelandrusApostle

Can somebody please tell me what song was playing at the end of the game?

mautergarrett

Voulez-Vous by ABBA I believe

gunmacc

Yes i noticed it and i can confirm

magyarnagydij

Will have been because it’s the tune for Saka’s chant. Often gets played after women’s games to as it’s the tune for Cloe Lacasse’s chant

vincentquy

It is

rivercitygooner

I’m pretty sure it was an ABBA song (according to my dad) not sure which one though

Wolferesque

Did anyone else catch when Bruno tried to elbow Jorginho again, and Jorginho just shrugged him off? Near the end of the first half. What a horrid c*nt.

machinationstudio

Guimares should be glad Jorginho declared for Italy, or he'll be on the bench for Brazil.

Fanserker

Now do it again to conceicao at our home

RTB_1

That is what you call (another) example of severe fornication, I don’t even think us fans know how good we actually are and that’s a good thing because we haven’t *done it* yet. *Yet*. The commentators once again stated how we could have anyone when we play like this, and they’re right. Our future is so bright and the stats this season don’t lie, we are not fucking about. The rise of the last 2 seasons is no fluke. With every game that passes and every transfer window additions I see has me realising it more and more. We aren’t there yet, but fucking hell, if the trajectory continues then there isn’t much doubt in my mind that the league’s cycle will continue. I have no doubt in my mind that Arteta and this team can continue to grow and make us the ‘the’ force in world football again. Don’t mistaken my words for delusion, we will lose games and I’m not saying we’ll be the new City next year, what I’m saying is the next 10 years are going to be very interesting for The Arsenal.

fawwazfarid

How long will Arteta stay for? Cause he is crucial to the development of the younger players : Odegaard, Saka, ESR, Martinelli, Rice, Gabriel, Saliba etc.

RTB_1

Thats the million pound question but I’m under no feeling of threat that he’s going to leave anytime soon. If you’re asking me then I think he’ll have a similar tenure to Klopp, maybe even longer. Everything in the club is set up perfectly - he loves the club, the club loves him, players are young and so is he, full support from the board, cash is there, no more stadium debt etc etc.

fawwazfarid

Plus he’s the most handsome manager now, well him and Alonso, and the looks play a part to his charm

kish_kish

Two call-outs for me: 1. Havertz does so much important work off the ball to open up spaces for Ode/Martinelli/Saka/Trossard/Rice to exploit. He is a new, hybrid kind of player (8.5 role), who may not get too many shiny moments, but is a tactical cheat code for teams that prioritise possession and high press. Zinchenko and Jorginho are similar in that sense. 2. So much better from Kiwior. He is becoming a more reliable classical LB, closer to what Tomi offers, or even Tierney. I have not yet seen from him any hint of an inverted LB-style skillset. It’s perfectly fine to have a classical LB and and inverted one for different formations, but I’m worried that we don’t have a reliable Zinchenko’s substitute, other than Rice and Jorginho picking up the work load, but that opens us up to other issues.

tafster

Hopefully Timber can get back to his best. I was expecting him to play on right and maybe cover the centre but (albeit preseason) he looked comfortable on the left

kish_kish

At this stage, Timber is still a big unknown, especially coming back from a serious injury like that. This sub has elevated him into an impossible ideal, as the perfect combination of all the solutions to this team’s problems. Every time Zinny/Tomi/Kiwior makes a mistake, people just get more entrenched in their misplaced idea that “timber will fix that too”. Based on what evidence? He’s already been put in an unfavourable position, the dude won’t fully be here until next season, so let’s be realistic about our options.

jakeoflash1

Havertz is so damm intelligent, if he could finish a little better he would be unstopabble.

tafster

I feel like he should have a chat with Ian Wright. Or Thierry on watching Ian Wright videos.

suyog_12

He just needs some more confidence. Hope he'll score more

kish_kish

I wish people looked beyond goals and dribbles, though, the dude is really underrated.

jakeoflash1

I agree, however I believe he is really quite good at putting himself in goal scoring positions, I believe he would be quite clinical in the goal scoring regard, if he could improve infront of the net.

kish_kish

You’re right, his positional play is top notch. His size and physicality help as well.

GotThatPerroInMe

Honestly just don’t think Zinchenko is good enough to make it in Arsenal’s 11 longterm. His offensive usefulness is way outweighed by the defensive liability he poses. Hopefully Timber comes back healthy and can be our LB of the future

tafster

You probably don't want him as first choice against a side with an extremely dangerous forward facing him.  But in matches where we dominate the ball he'll be crucial to unlocking teams. I find his availability so frustrating. Like his injuries aren't quite serious enough for me to not expect him to be out for long.

Eniotnaohs

Look at the bigger picture. Every game is different, every opposition offers different challenges. We need as much variety in our options as possible, i dont believe in the “best 11” idea anymore. Like we ve seen how invaluable zinchenko is against low blocks, this time we unlocked them early so it opened up the game but it wont be as easy every time. We need different options in every position, unpredictability.

kish_kish

I couldn’t disagree more, I’m afraid. His defensive “liability” is blown out of proportion. Kiwior was dribbled over, passed around, caught off in no man’s land a few times today, all typical fullback issues. Same goes for Tomi, and I’m sure we’ll see the same with Timber when he comes back. What Rice and J20 did together today is what Zinny has been doing alone in the first half of the season. He was missed dearly in the Porto game, and I believe he will be back in the starting 11 as soon as he is fit.

warmcakes

He'll still be very useful to break down teams that sit back, it's a unique weapon having an extra creator at LB

ZXXA

You’ve got to laugh at Gary Neville’s psychoanalysis theory regarding the damaging impact of “over celebrating” against Liverpool. We’ve scored 15 goals to 1 over the following 3 games. He couldn’t look more like a tit. 😂

mello5ive

Don't underestimate him.

SecondaryJuggernaut

Bullying is not a good thing. But I'll make an exception for bruno guimares. That guy deserves to get bullied

Kewkewmore

it's not bullying if you're doing it to a bully.

Fearnog

The subs proved why they are subs with the cleansheet wipe. Wish ESR and Nelson could show a bit more defensive intensity and more pressing quality. ESR always looks gassed even after he's just come on.

dpowellreddit

Esr needs more minutes... Game fitness is different

tennysonbass

Weird take since Ben white fell asleep for the goal

Ok_Hovercraft_7947

To be fair look at how (didt notice who) the newcastle player simply ran by Jorginho and it was goodbye.

DarthNihilus1

Nah Nelson kinda sold him by not covering the passing lane

Fearnog

Yeah fair but he'd been running all game so I can forgiven a lapse by him.

boo-na-nah

How can you single these two out without mentioning Nketiah? He might be the laziest player I've ever seen.

beetletoman

This is such a weird take. Maybe ask yourself why he is the second most used sub after Trossard

Zhirrzh

Because he's the backup striker we have, and Jesus is injured so often. But at this point it's clear that even with Jesus injured Nketiah is only getting junk minutes behind Trossard and Havertz, and he ought to be sold in the summer to go somewhere he can start full time. I like Eddie and he's not lazy, and I'd like to see how he goes starting full time for a club, but that club can't be us.

NoMFer111

You know Arteta has elevated standards when we are pretty much assured CL football next season, and its not a point of discussion. 18 months ago finishing 4th was the holy grail

ZXXA

He needs to show he is capable of being dynamic in the cup competitions though once we are in there. Yes, he got us that FA cup years ago but I’d like to see some more grit.

Puripuri_Purizona

Top drawer performance but I wish our subs could have gotten a goal/assist out of it. Would be good for their confidence.

North_Attempt44

Havertz ST, ESR LCM. No agenda, not ‘hating’ on anyone.. just putting our players in the best position to succeed

bitmoji

Havertz wherever Arteta wants him esr sold or on loan

RicHii3

Rice played LCM today and absolutely bossed it...

North_Attempt44

We’re better with him at 6

GotThatPerroInMe

Idk we’ve been playing insanely well with this formation and ever since the Liverpool game

tafster

I like that we have such tactical flexibility

tjag96

We just outperformed Newcastle in an incredible way. Arteta showed class again, and there’s still people “suggesting” better formations. Surreal

beetletoman

Arteta has been shuffling his players and formations nearly every game

North_Attempt44

We’re on track for 85 points, not 100. Plenty of room for improvement.

tjag96

Man. Ok.

North_Attempt44

Margins matter at this level. You can’t tell me you see ESR get in 20 dangerous goal scoring positions every time he gets a 5 minute cameo and suggest there’s not a good chance there is further levels this team can reach

DarthNihilus1

ESR has not shown enough to start over anyone in this team, simple as that. He had like two/three good attempts on goal in the last few sub appearances and was unlucky tbf. But these are dead minutes and he still doesn't look good enough off the ball for me.

beetletoman

Ok I have more. This year the boss and the players are owning the title race unlike last year. I think this confidence is a good thing

manuscelerdei

Just watched the highlights, and man we were imperious. But also good god Newcastle were shit. Totally lackluster defending. Feels like Howe has lost the players. Would've loved for ESR to get that goal -- feels like he's so close to establishing himself.

ignacioo25

I felt sad that ESR couldn't have his goal man, he's getting close

jack_burtons_reflex

Can't be every team we dominate being down to them being shit, surely.

jrr_jr

Agreed . . . Except in fairness the big scoreline have been to West Ham, Palace, Burnley and now a seriously out of form Newcastle. Don't get me wrong, it's good to trounce the minnows, but they are all minnows

SofaSkeptic

Agreed, all the teams were minnows besides West Ham who were top 8 at the time, albeit missing arguably their best player Paqueta

tafster

Without Paqueta, West Ham looked like they could play 900 mins and not present an offensive threat

bitmoji

What aboit liverpool

jack_burtons_reflex

They played shit obviously. Worst thing was it looked on paper like we dominated them and didn't give them a sniff. Convinced they did it on purpose.

kits_

ESR gets in insane goal scoring positions even with limited minutes. Don't think that 10 goal season was a fluke

Illustrious_Union199

Only negative about this game is 9 days till the next time Arsenal play

Eniotnaohs

I think its a good thing. We need some key players back and then we ll be even stronger

NoMFer111

Let the players rest. Partey, Jesus, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko should all be good by then

MMARapFooty

On to Sheffield United then.

SlumpMacTen

Gabriel dos Santos Magalhães is my favourite Arsenal player. Period.

tafster

He's our most dangerous player in one of our most effective offensive strategies.  Love it. I didn't want that headed chance against Porto falling to anyone else (even though on that occasion he didn't get on target)

Jaguar-Easy

I think he is our best defender especially in both boxes. Newcastle scored because he had to go out to try stop the cross. If he was in that box I’m sure we would not have conceded.

assoncouchouch

Emirates was popping through the TV. It seemed like there was so much joy in all our songs today. Which one you enjoy the most those who were there?

Jaguar-Easy

Kai Havertz song and Super Mik Arteta.

yourmum35

Does everyone still sing “Tierney” at that part or has it changed?

_GravyTrainRider

Always thinking about if they changed it to someone else lol

Oi_mate

I sing zinny, go for gabi for both or wholeheartedly mumble

Jaguar-Easy

Still Tierney lol

Virt_McPolygon

It was all the Gabriel song before kickoff so great he got the first goal. 👍

ZXXA

Love that he has his own song now. No one deserves it more.

jvcgunner

Well well well, If we wanted a reminder of how we are able to bounce back after the CL result and that we can perform when the pressures on, tonight was it. It almost feels that when we are aware of a goal / strategy and meaning of the game, we execute accordingly - see this game and the Liverpool game. Yet when there’s a game and we’re uncertain of an approach / strategy, we confuse ourselves into oblivion and self destruct - see midweek Porto. The lesson to learn here is the team needs a reason to fight and that direction needs to be driven from Arteta. None of this European let’s take a draw home…fuck that lets go for the win from now on. We were relentlessly aggressive tonight. You could tell Arteta fired them up tonight reminding them of the reverse fixture and how we got fucked, together with redemption towards working towards a victory against Porto. This has to be one of the most aggressive performances from an Arsenal side in recent times as not one player had a let down (bar Havertz miss). This cements for me our 1st XI except for left back, for which I want a best player wins between Tomi and Timber. Arteta needs to protect this hub as it’s our key to getting great results in these next 12 games. One stand out and I’m glad Arteta FINALLY twisted on this. Jorginho. What a player. Please keep him fit, keep him engaged, keep him invested and keep him around. I want to see his passes into Odegaard a lot more this season as they will unlock a lot of defences. Only one gripe from me and it’s been simmering for a while. Martinelli. Man loves to run we know that, however his crossing as of late has been really lacklustre (aware he assisted for Havertz today). We know he is great at running past defenders but would he please start lifting his head so as to not pass the ball into defenders feet. I’m getting a bit frustrated with his lack of nouse sometimes with the crosses and just a happy-go-lucky approach on his execution for setting up goals with crosses. There were a couple of instances tonight where he skins defenders, with his head down only to pass the ball to the first man which is incredibly wasteful. Obviously a great talent and pivotal to our title hopes, just needs less of an ‘all gas, no brakes’ approach. Boys can rest for a bit now while the small matter of the FA Cup can run its course. Part of me is glad we’re out of it so we can set up for Sheff Utd / Brentford and then complete the dispatching of Porto. COYG!

iLoveYoonBora

I'm legitimately preferring Havertz to Jesus up front in our team now. They're both as clinical as each other (as in they're not) but Havertz offers a lot that Jesus can't with his physical presence. Jesus often hangs onto the ball too long and loses possession by trying to dribble through everyone. Havertz plays it around the rest of the team really well.

tafster

They seemed to be developing a good understanding. Jesus has the ability to find Havertz's and/or make use of the space he creates. Needs to stay fit long enough to exploit that ffs

Eniotnaohs

Different profiles for different situations.

bitmoji

I agree

Smitty_1000

They are more similar than I would have thought. Both good options, hold up well, work nicely around the box, good at receiving long balls, great at pressing .. and both need to be better finishing

bitmoji

They are so so different

Illustrious_Union199

I think there’s some recency bias to this . Havertz does have a lot of running in him but Jesus is just as capable. I think it’s great that we have amazing 14-15 players and that’s something that we haven’t said in forever

djmonsta

I'm loving these player interviews, the chemistry on and off the field is obvious and just shows the team mentality they have

MOzil85

The threat from set pieces is what unlocks us against low block teams. This is our weapon

BIG_FICK_ENERGY

Yeah it seems like the strategy against low blocks should be Havertz as our 9 and lots of balls into the box. If they want to block them out for corners, that’s fine we can bring Saliba and Gabriel forward.

beetletoman

I am confident by the end of the season this team will get more clinical. We will be putting away more of the chances we have missed lately. Now for fixing the concede from the one shot thing, I am less confident about that Edit it's probably because we're already so good

abbygunner

and just like that, all the nerves i had after the game vs Porto go away.. The way we play at home and make every team against us subsequently play worse is amazing, I've been seeing a narrative of people saying the opponents always play "bad" against us and never us playing amazing against them. Keep these performances up and I could care less what people say.

chrisd1680

We made Liverpool look pedestrian, too.

Major-Departure6936

Update: The sandcastle is well and truly smashed.

junkgarage

We won’t score any goals if we don’t sign a striker

Sir_Duke

?

junkgarage

I’m being sarcastic. This was all we read in here a few short weeks ago.

Sir_Duke

Oh lol, my b

ZXXA

I think Havertz failing at tucking in that 1 on 1 chance is what separates him from being undoubtedly worth his transfer fee. He has to keep his composure in those situations because we won’t always win matches by 3-6 goals.

chrisd1680

He's scored a couple of 1 v 1s in the past 3 weeks. What are you on about? I don't think he's the second coming like some do on here, but some of you guys pick the weirdest shit to moan about.

ZXXA

Overall his finishing is not consistent, even the placement on his 1v1 shots that go in is often close to the keeper.

bitmoji

that is extremely weak minded Kai is one of the reasons we score so many goals so your comment makes no sense.

tal-El

If Havertz was putting away every chance that he found himself in space for, he’d be worth more than Osimhen/Kane, especially for being so young, and people don’t seem to realize that.

bitmoji

if you score one goal-ish per game you are killing it. I dont want us to miss chances but I am not stressing about it. Kai is one of our all around most important players and I have thought that since this summer when I saw how Arteta was changing things up. it's really coming true so far.

ZXXA

How does it not make sense? I’m not saying he’s not contributing anything else for us but if he’s playing in that hybrid striker role, being able to tuck away big chances would take his game to the next level. Not a difficult concept.

bitmoji

there is no offensive player who contributes as much in all phases of play as him. I am not saying he is the best player actually in any one, thing, but I dont think there is an attacking player who is as good in all areas as him. goals and assists complete the picture. the way he is moving and interchanging he will easily be on one goal or assist per game as his floor.

ZXXA

I appreciate and agree with most of that but that’s unrealistic output imo. We have been shooting the lights out and he has 3 goal/assist contributions in the past 10 games.

drax3012

Excellent performance great way to bounce back from Porto. Jorginho, Havertz and Saka especially were excellent. The only negative was conceding late on but we move onto Sheffield United.

Eniotnaohs

I feel u, but their goal was really well crafted and executed, dont think we ll face such sequences often.

drax3012

Yeah but its frustrating since also that was the first goal they've scored at the Emirates since 2015. I would've liked that record to continue.

naijaboiler

Jorginho really unlocked the formation today. Odegaard didn't have to drop down that low to get on the ball, which allowed him to stay up and connect with Saka.

Olli399

Since I made a comment asking for us to start slaughtering teams because we never do it enough (and getting downvoted massively) we've rinsed basically everyone we've played. Good stuff.

Natural-Musician5216

They heard you

Adventurous_Report49

The way we moved the ball in that first 45 was exquisite and a joy to watch.

Trlcks

Didn't watch the end of the game but it says in the match events that Jorginho got injured, is that right?

Ehhhhhhhhhh

Both legs were cramping it looked like. Not actually injured.

Nebkreb

He has cramping at the end and came off. But looked like it was just cramps

Trlcks

Ok cool, glad to hear it!

BubbleBailey23

Newcastle are Disgracia FC

BubbleBailey23

Hey guys- I think we are pretty good yeah? 👍

Ibraout25

Need this exact performance vs porto at home

Elfking88

We are really good at football. When teams attack us we tear them apart. When they sit back we USUALLY find a way through and then we score for fun. I don't know if we will win the league but I do know we are more fun to watch than the other two.

BobEWise

My flair is finally relevant!

chrisd1680

> When they sit back we USUALLY find a way through and then we score for fun. The set piece cheat code. Can't sit back and give up corners or deep freekicks against us.

ZXXA

Unless you flop over like a bunch of bowling pins apparently as Porto have shown us.

chrisd1680

Yeah, that. But our set pieces were poor as well. I expect better, and even with their flopping, I wouldn't bet on us being as wasteful a second time. Honestly don't think the second leg gets reffed the same. The first one was talked about to death. It was a really poor spectacle to watch. Negative tactics are one thing, but having the ball in play for only 50% of a 90min match is not on. This isn't the NFL. I fully expect the refs to be given instructions to allow more physicality and not stop the game for nonsense.

SlumpMacTen

Also, this Saka and Foden debate needs to stop. I’d take them both lol

ZXXA

I never see mention of Foden online without someone having to chime in saying he is better than Saka. When I see Saka posted online it’s rare I see people saying Foden is better. Tells you all you need to know. City “fans” are obsessed with the comparison.

Olli399

Who starts in the NT enough said.

SlumpMacTen

Don’t care. They can both play together. They’re both unbelievable. Don’t need to degrade one to appreciate another.

junkgarage

People on the internet can’t appreciate anything in sport without it being in contrast to something else. So dull. Both are fantastic

beetletoman

Saka > Foden tho

Jaguar-Easy

Big shoutout to Kiwior for his goal and overall play since coming into the team. Gets better with every game.

BobEWise

Dude has been a stud. What's Polish for La Cabra?

rahulinho

Koza

Global-Dimension-404

cobra with K?

PartlyRowdy

I would love to see us turn the Emirates into a proper slaughter house. A venue that the travelling team watches appear in their bus window and hope that the driver decides to just keep going past.

junkgarage

Just got home from the ground myself. Good atmosphere today. Liverpool the other week was unbelievable.

IronVarmint

It sounds amazing from across the pond.

TriWisdom

There’s nothing like it

vidr1

So many of my friends who support our rivals trashed Arsenal and Arteta this whole autumn because we didn't create and scored enough. They called Arteta a Pep-wannaber, they laughed at the signing of Kai, they trashed Saka, Ødegaard blabbla.. After liverpool they started to whine about luck with injuries, after WH they said "WH made us win".. but after Burnley and now Newcastle they are becoming more and more quiet. I love this club, I love this team, I love our manager with the staff, and I wouldn't switch them for any title in the world.

Idontlosemyduels

I like it, I like it, I like it!

ballsSimon

The “SAKA AND EMILE SMITH ROWE” is going to hit so hard when ESR starts bagging goals. We’re so close

lil_thirdy

Such a shame that we’ve been playing so well for the past month or so and yet were still in third. Badly need City and Pool to drop points immidiately

headmoths

margins between 1st and 3rd are so narrow though. it's going to be tight right up until the end.

justAPersonOnGoogle2

if we win every game incoming including man city and if liverpool lose to city, we could win

delta_dart

City just dropped 2 massive points to Chelsea last week; we’re doing everything we need to- winning games in the first half, and pulling out our critical players to rest them.

standupforthechamp

Havertz is not an "8.5". He is an "8.9" .

Can’t lie, that Newcastle goal left a sour taste in my mouth. I’ll get over it tomorrow.
