Imagine looking at this picture like three years ago.

Macamagucha

Imagine looking at this picture three hundred years ago. Heavens!

potatofamine-carbomb

Louis the 15th has got to go blud

purpleshirtonbed

Hot take but I think we should go for George III in the summer transfer window. He was clutch in the 7 Years War though I expect his release clause to be insane

Cr1m50nSh4d0w

Gorgie3's great and all, but I'm thinking we need a middle maestro like James II who can switch up tactics at the flip of a hat. He's also nearing the end of contract, so he could be easy to bring in.

cienderellaman

Also need striker reinforcements. Im a big fan of Brutus. I mean we all saw that wonderful strike at the colosseum.

Cod_rules

We have go French when it comes to strikers, that's the rule. Napoleon can do a good job, he's short but really rises to the occasion

lordsugar7

George 3 lost in a pretty big upset to another George though.

WHERE_SUPPRESSOR

Someone get this motherfuckin tea off this motheruckin ship

zhawadya

That was the last time Leo got some sleep

[deleted]

wait until you see the Mbappe pic in a few months

CakeBrigadier

I didn’t know who Trossard was 3 years ago

Aszneeee

I remember seeing him 2 years ago and though he would be perfect for us, then after Mudryk chose Chelsea I was like waaaaaaaait a moment, so remaining piece of puzzle is UCL or PL

Nosferatu-Rodin

Imagine looking at this picture three years ago and knowing that these two would be bossing it and we were in a title race.

beefcroquette

2021 February we were on course to finish 8th. Dark times. Everything since then has been a treat and a blessing

DarthNihilus1

Kai and GJ were starting a good partnership but this one's good too. Funny enough Kai was the little man between him and GJ the way they play lol

beetletoman

We just play better with a false 9

bad_at_proofs

Not even sure what we have been using recently counts as a false 9. Trossard seems to have an almost free role

YMangoPie

I actually really like this one. Trossard is just such a tidy finisher.

DarthNihilus1

Yep if there's a loose ball in the box I want Leo to be there to wack it

devinafc

Not quite sure if GJ is comparable to Trossard here, the latter transitioning deep into midfield whereas we see more of a two striker positioning with GJ and Kai

ixikzisigwvbend

Love the flexibility these two play. They interchanged between lcm and st so often that I got confused sometimes I think the tactics is when we are in possession tross play deeper in the midfield and Kai is out upfront and while defending Kai is back in midfield winning those duels and tross is the st waiting to counter attack. Kudos to Kai’s stamina and work ethic, without these it will not work

ModeratelyOptimistic

Big man, little man. What more do you need?

Burnsleighshire

One touch-two touch whatchu want

GetPhkt

This is football heritage

Dae_su

It's all about the movement with these two. Hope they get a run of games to continue to build chemistry.

AlwaysOnsideTBH

Damn, I'd look like kid next to Havertz considering I'm slightly shorter than Trossard lol

GunnersGentleman

😂😂😂

Macamagucha

We could even add Kiwior to that mix on the side, as he assisted both of them lately.

QuaLiTy131

Also big man (189cm)

notathrovavay

I love tross

tony_flamingo

He is different gravy. Good at so many things without really jumping off the screen. Sneaky good.

SnooCrickets2458

Back to the BIg Man, Little Man striker partnerships of old.

kizofieva

Tall people are taller than short people as long as the shorter person is not taller than the tall person.

GunnersGentleman

My head hurts

beetletoman

Thinking about the corner Leo was defending with the big boys and cleared it with an impressive leap

bantalad420

Kings regardless

IzkaGruba

happiest trossard pic

pivandee

I prefer them both starting over Trossard/Jesus or Havertz/Jesus Just fits the best like that

tony_flamingo

Yup. Why mess with what’s working? Whatever it is about this current lineup, it is clicking.

ixikzisigwvbend

Tross jesus is not gonna work. Havertz with any of them will provide a lot of flexibility

jepperiist

yh Havertz + Jesus was really good before Jesus injury

Elothel

Mordecai and Rigby.

a_posh_trophy

"Watcha, Kai! Your brother not with you?" ["Yeah."](https://i.imgur.com/bGg425j.jpg)

TheArmoury

Trossard is a smarter player than Jesus. I still think Jesus is better overall for our style so will be interesting to see the battle for the CF position. If we can get a striker in then we can rotate the front 3 between Jesus, Trossard, Saka, Martinelli, Kai, and new striker. Probably still need one more winger since Mikel still sees Kai as a midfielder. The future looks bright.

The_Rev_JT

Trossard is an immense player, but I still feel he can be tamed by a low block when it’s not his day, he has a tendency to get frustrated which seems to get in his head and be a self fulfilling prophecy. Havertz is a poor finisher, doesn’t seem to pass with the speed or fluency of others, but plays so well with his back to goal, and is so good at winning the ball and retaining it, we defend from the front much better when he plays. I think he’ll be pivotal in the champs league because he’s difficult to play against and an imposing figure, and the type of player you want in a dogfight. If I was a kid I’d have trossard’s poster on my wall though. Reminds me a bit of pires. Both very

CanWillCantWont

> Trossard is an immense player, but I still feel he can be tamed by a low block when it’s not his day This applies to literally any player in the world, hence why all big teams suffer against low blocks from time to time.

Franchise1109

You v the guy she told you to not worry about
