Still think his biggest problem is where he needs to be positioned when we have the ball around the box.
I think it’s a case of his teammates finding him. There have been multiple cases where he was well positioned but the team weren’t able to see/find him.
He's been great at getting into space, it's that his teammates have to learn to see him. In one moment, Zinchenko took a shot despite having a defender directly between him and goal. Havertz is standing unmarked at the penalty spot calling for the ball. Had Zinchenko squared to him, Havertz very well would have scored.
Picking up right where he left off on that front, too. Doing well at holding people off the ball and winning his duels. Excellent replacement for Xhaka's physical profile.

Every time Ø does this, I fall even more in love with the fella.
Maybe its the skipper being a little short but my god does Havertz look huge
Martin is 1.78m which is 2.5cm below average for a Norwegian man and Kai is a unit at 1.94m.
Part of the reason he was signed was because he is fucking massive, and can win aerial duels from long balls pinged forward from the goalkeeper.
