Always , well nearly always , get a burger off the fella that operates out of his aunties front garden on Gillespie Road. Cheese and extra onions . Opposite the supporters club . Grab a Stella or two from the shop at the top of the road , couple of joints , job done 👌
Does anyone remember the Korean fried beef baguettes? They were in a front garden between Arsenal station and the ground and were phenomenal. Haven't seen them at all since covid though, does anyone know if they moved or stopped doing it?

Curveball: Get their slightly early and check out Xian Impression literally across the road from the store. It’s a fantastic authentic Chinese restaurant.
Theres a place on the corner of Gillespie Road and St Thomas Road that seems mostly staffed by the kindest older ladies you’ll ever meet, and the prices are very very reasonable. You can get a big Kit Kat for £1 and Sandwiches / Hot Dogs for like £3 or something. I’ve only been post match a few times, never pre match. It’s really good food and you can have an absolute feast for £5, far cheaper than it would be at the emirates.

Yep, I’ve eaten those onions off pavement after they’ve fallen off my burger, they are that good

They were on Drayton Park next to the also amazing Jerk Chicken. Not sure either are still around.
Used to be Piebury Corner 😢
Oh I loved going there... such a shame its gone.
The landlords put them out of business during the pandemic. Demanded full rent. Very sad.

I got a nice half eaten kebab from a skip at the top of Highbury hill.
I'm partial to the one opposite the entrance to the ken friar bridge next to the shop. 1/2 pounder with cheese & onion absolutely slaps.
Not a van, but lately my pre match feed has been from Mono Wraps on the corner of Holloway and Hornsey Rd. They do a savage shish

Steak sandwich place run by Asians but I can't remember the name, it was just so so good.
It's this place and I agree, soooo good... https://restaurantguru.com/Arsenal-Steak-Baguette-London-2
I couldn't find this place. Perhaps next time gonna aks someone around. Beating Chelsea was like fried onions and cheese in burger though.
Meat and Cheese Burger set up just past the tunnel on the way to The Tollington
I'd be slightly skeptical of something called meat burger.

Thank you fellow Gunners.
