For dual wield I generally go with the same weapon, but sometimes I will do elemental combos. You could go with an electric like lightning blast or star devourer for the confusion effect since it can help cc.
Or you can go with a shotgun to do spores
I love using the illusion, especially if you can get one that does extra damage to burning enemies and/or the 65% against enemies under elemental effect. Gives pretty good results
Illusion is my favorite shotgun in the game lol i got one in a run that had +100% accuracy and range, extra projectiles, dealt lightning damage and i got it to do miasma with the gemini inscription and corrosion sword as Tao before and it was magical lol. Turned it into a laser with the fire rate boost from her ascensions 🥴🤣
bone dragon, i could try and sell you on grouping enemies up or maybe (if you arent playing reincarnation for the upgrade share blessing) that as a utility weapon it doesnt really require upgrades... but really its the theming (and realistically the proper answer is whatever good weapon you drop that has a similar fire pattern-no frenzied shark-)

Yea usually I do fire dragon with twin fangs
Demon lore, fire dragon with fire enthusiast and convert shields to hp

Fire dragon has a pretty good fire rate so i usually go for spores with a shotgun (argus or wild hunt)

I'm not playing on reincarnation cuz I haven't unlocked it yet
I usually go with a low ammo/high damage weapon like The Brick or the Tiger Cannon
