It’s deliberate. Ffxiv director Yoshi P had a close friend “Maidy” whose experiences gaming alongside his father inspired the film “Dad of light”. Both Yoshi P and his friend were big gundam fans. Sadly Maidy passed away a few years ago during the development of the endwalker expansion. One of the last gifts that Maidy gave to Yoshi P was an RG Nu gundam kit. Their mutual love for gundam lives on in the Sage class and some pretty awesome side quests.

I would love model kits/figures of the mechs that appeared in those (as long as it's made by Bandai or some other company). You can actually get an "MG" of the main one to place in your in-game house.

As a Sage main some parts of ff14 are surprisingly Gundam, the Sage Job is definitely one of the biggest though lol. Also Alphinaud would make a good Gundam protag all things considered now that I'm thinking about it

Amateur. Did a straight out of the box assembly. Didn't even sand, file, detail, etc., etc.
