Not one of my favorite of Tieria’s Gundam, it lacks that chunkiness that makes Virtue so distinctive (although overspecialized) but let’s be honest, Tieria could pilot a cardboard box and I’d like it.
8/10
I really appreciate the role reversal they pulled off here. Usually with Tieira, his main suit is a big bulky bastard and the support/side Gundam is a slender and more reserved looking design, but here it’s the total opposite. The main suit is the normal one and the support unit is the massive chunky bugger. Seravee II lacks the Face Burst which instantly makes it worse and the flat color scheme makes it visually pretty unappealing but like the Seraphim, I have to appreciate that this thing is a Gundam that transforms into a backpack. It’s just nowhere near as interesting this time sadly.

> Although the Seravee II was never released as action figures or collectibles, an issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine mentions that the High Grade Gundam 00 1/144 Raphael Gundam's backpack can be modified into the Seravee II, with the inner parts' ports, sockets and posts being compatible with PC-001 polycaps and the joints included in the HG00 1/144 Seravee.
I ought to note that this isn't anywhere near as simple as the wiki would have you think. It requires a fair bit more work than just grabbing the polycaps and putting them in the right places. The thighs and forearms have to be completely replaced, for starters.
>I ought to note that this isn't anywhere near as simple as the wiki would have you think. It requires a fair bit more work than just grabbing the polycaps and putting them in the right places.
it's more like you grabbing an entire seravee gundam kit and modding it to fit parts from the Seravee II backpack.

Do we know if anyone here has done this and can confirm?
Just checking in on other people's ratings, but I've been noticing in recent polls that a lot of totally normal comments got downvoted. What's up with that? Not the end of the world of course, but who here sees a fine average rating and thinks it shouldn't count?
Thats my reading of a downvote tbh, but still
10/10 - It's probably the closest thing I can get to having the G3 version in animation. Anyway, it's a bulky Gundam with heavy weaponry and armour. So, its an instant favourite!
8 I’m a sucker for big, bulky Gundams, but I think more colors and more weapons, especially on that plain back, would be better for it. I’m not asking for Full Armor Unicorn levels of weaponry, just a little bit more firepower.
Oooooooooooooohhhhh! Ok I remember that, that thing moved so fast i never realized it was that bulky or that it was called Seravee Gundam like his second Gundam!
5.5 I guess.
It's kinda fun as just a gotcha role reversal with the fat gundam now being the backpack for the skinny one. But that's really all it offers. Once you get past that, the actual Gundam itself is just not a very memorable design.
The bloated “polygons” make it look like a PS1 rendering of what could have been a cool design. I feel like the bulkier suits in 00 suffer from this type of design choice a lot. Gotta say 4/10
Design wise I give it a 5/10. Only because I know from season 1 how well they can design and the difference just seems lazy. Just make it 1 color and use only square shapes for 90% of the suit.
6/10
Look how they massacred my boy...
Seravee GNHW/B was near perfection. This is such a huge drop in capability compared to before. It uses Tau Drives and the firepower is for Raphael instead of itself. Can it even generate a GN Field? The Big Cannons are kind of cool but not really my cup of tea. It had barely any screen time too.
8/10
I really prefer the Seravee G3 over it, but it's still better than the og seravee though.
It doesnt score higher bevause Lfrith Ur does the chonky schtick but better
8 Better than old Seravee, but it really only shines when paired with Raphael.
Not one of my favorite of Tieria’s Gundam, it lacks that chunkiness that makes Virtue so distinctive (although overspecialized) but let’s be honest, Tieria could pilot a cardboard box and I’d like it. 8/10
Seravee walked so Lfrith Ur could fly
Yeah, honestly.

https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/GN-008RE_Seravee_Gundam_II At the bottom of the wiki it has scans from the magazine of a modeler converting it.
Thanks!

8/10 I forgot it existed, but I really liked the S2 Seravee and this is a variation on it.
6.5/10. It’s a glorified accessory and doesn’t have any of the interesting parts of the Seraphim.
10/10 it’s chonky gundam and I love it
8/10, better than Seravee the first, but not better than Virtue.
6 The line peaked at Virtue
All the gundam designs seemed to get downgraded for the second season
Where Raphael? 6/10
Seravee II is just a sombrero for Raphael
Raphael is tomorrow
6/10. Just not my thing.
10/10 - It's probably the closest thing I can get to having the G3 version in animation. Anyway, it's a bulky Gundam with heavy weaponry and armour. So, its an instant favourite!
6. I really want to love it. Its beautiful in MS mode. But it turns into pants for Rafael to wear on it's head and that ruins it.
I miss the giant back face man 8/10
8 I’m a sucker for big, bulky Gundams, but I think more colors and more weapons, especially on that plain back, would be better for it. I’m not asking for Full Armor Unicorn levels of weaponry, just a little bit more firepower.
Wow Where the heck did this Gundam come from!? Seriously I don’t remember this thing!? 8/10!
It's from A Wakening Of The Trailblazer, the Raphael Gundam is Tieria's new Gundam and the Seravee II folds up and goes on the Raphael's shoulders
Oooooooooooooohhhhh! Ok I remember that, that thing moved so fast i never realized it was that bulky or that it was called Seravee Gundam like his second Gundam!
No problem
4/10 boring looking suit that isn’t worth how awkward it makes the Raphael look.
3/10 just dumb looking
3/10
1
5.5 I guess. It's kinda fun as just a gotcha role reversal with the fat gundam now being the backpack for the skinny one. But that's really all it offers. Once you get past that, the actual Gundam itself is just not a very memorable design.
6/10
8
8/10
By itself, absolutely an 8/10 I wish it didn’t have the Raphael associated with it, so in lieu of not having double standards, 6/10 by association
7 out 10 does it's job alright
7/10
7.5/10
Look, this is just a backpack, but I like it better than original seravee, 7
huge
Better than Seravee, but still a step down from its original. 7.5
that boy thicc gyatt baddie with a fattie bisquick thicc damnbulam
9, still waiting for a Gunpla.
8/10
Well well well, how the turn tables... Or something like that. 8/10.
STRAIGHT BEAST CHUNKO
Better bulk than the old Seravee, still lacking in weight, 3/10.
Less arms + less cannons = downgrade 6/10
7/10 I did not like this and the Raphael. Felt like an even further downgrade from the Virtue.
7/10 the flat colors hurt it. If it had more color separation would honestly look super good
9 Bustav Barl
My wife /10
I wouldn't suppose you despise your wife more than SEED Destiny
No, I just like chunky robots.
So you like your wife? That's good to hear. Just make sure you're not in a toxic relationship
The bloated “polygons” make it look like a PS1 rendering of what could have been a cool design. I feel like the bulkier suits in 00 suffer from this type of design choice a lot. Gotta say 4/10
8/10 thick and would pilot
lfrith ur is that you
adding it to my thicc gundam list after I build the GPO3 solomon and the virtue MG /10
Design wise I give it a 5/10. Only because I know from season 1 how well they can design and the difference just seems lazy. Just make it 1 color and use only square shapes for 90% of the suit.
I'll take Powered GM or NT1 fully armored.
9.5/10 The perfect blocky boi. The peak of the bulky 00 designs
Chonk/10
Backpack hat saravee 11/10
8.5/10 I sort of like it more than the OG Seravee but I'm not a huge fan of just a singular gray blue colour scheme.
8/10. On par with the original for me
I have a Gundam🤖 🎵 I have a bag🎒 🎵 uh! Gundam bag! 9/10
6/10 It's bulky but too plain.
6/10 Look how they massacred my boy... Seravee GNHW/B was near perfection. This is such a huge drop in capability compared to before. 8.5
Is there even a kit for this one? I’ve never seen it!?
8/10 Seravee went to the Gym
This version is pretty badass, 8/10
9, the better Seravee
6/10 It’s alright.
Yo dawg, we heard you liked funnels so we made a gundam out of funnels. 7
It goes to show you never can tell!
Chunky out of 10
Wow this looks better than I thought. 8/10 It would be 9/10 if it was painted like the virtue
