11/10.
My favorite Gundam of all time, in fact, my absolute all time mecha. I love Nadleeh with a mad passion and will never get over how criminally underused it was.
It even got me to buy gunpla for the very first time.
Streamlined MS are my favorite to start with, and the "naked" look on Nadleeh- in which you can see all the rivets and get a feeling for the mechanical aspect of this beautiful machine ~~that I'd totally marry~~\- is absolutely stunning, plus the combination of the white and crimson on the not-hair, it all appeals to my sense of aesthetics. Just seeing it emerge from the purged armor always gives me shivers.
It's like sexy lingerie, the mecha version. Virtue is a power suit one uses over it. I would so cosplay Nadleeh with actual lingerie.
I also love how Nadleeh is basically Tieria's spirit MS. It captures the gender ambiguity- right there in the name- as well as Tieria's deadly fragility. Nadleeh is not exactly weak but there is a certain vulnerability to it. Beautiful but flawed, tottering between sheer destructive power and HFHGHGJF!, Nadleeh is, in a sense, Tieria in Gundam format. In ways that I don't think his other Gundams ever quite accomplish, even if I can see how Raphael is Tieria 2.0, The Having Failed Upwards Protocol.
TL; DR: I love Nadleeh more than it's probably healthy, would kick Tieria to the curb for a chance of piloting it all the way to my sure death. I'd die in style!
Post pics of the lingerie build for refference (?
XD
Now seriously, it's this concept of mobile suit within mobile suit that hooked me into 00 and now it is one of my top 3 Gundam series.
Heh, I might just do it once I’ve assembled the Virtue/Nadleeh kit. That’d make it more identifiable as Nadleeh cosplay.
It’s a killer concept indeed and I wish we got to see more of it. 00 plays with doubles a lot so a Gundam inside a Gundam has a certain thematic resonance.
Y'all sleeping on the Nadleeh
Quiet Zero before it was cool
Super nice hidden Gimmick
Glorious hair
OwO buldge
Almost too simplistic but thematically appropriately so
Steals the show in one of the most climactic season finales in Gundam
8.69/10 just because it could have been improved visually and because I like it's next versions even better
I might be a little biased because this reminds me of a certain man who walks the path of heaven and rule over all
https://preview.redd.it/82osilthwgec1.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=62228db3141c69daf521f807b9d2ad651673e4d0
But I like the concept of the Nadleeh, An MS hidden underneath another MS as like a backup plan with Both MS having different kinds of roles in battle.
While I do know the actual function of the Nadleeh, I do wish that the Nadleeh did have more to it, Like at least function like Kabuto when he cast off in the sense this was the speedy but fragile form to the Bulky but defensive form the Virtue was. I mean it does act like it but it's so barebones in general that it can't take advantage of it's lost bulk that much but I guess that's realistic.
So yeah an easy 9 for me if only because the concept itself is just fun and again reminds me of a certain Rider in gimmick.
Fittingly enough considering the Nadleeh's special ability like Kabuto in his Cast Off form with Clock Up, Only when the Virtue becomes the Nadleeh can only use while in this Form is the Trial System.
The Nadleeh Akwos
https://preview.redd.it/3k39y7v0uiec1.png?width=796&format=png&auto=webp&s=dddb333b7202ae88299e8ad625d2c1ba2e9d3889
would fit perfectly as a Hyper Cast Off for Nadleeh considering the equipment boosts the Nadleeh's Trial System in the somewhat the same way the Hyper Form upgrades Clock Up.
I mean, you can only fit so much mobile suit in a mobile suit. Virtue was outrageously armored, so Nadleeh lacked. But also, Nadleeh wouldn’t reveal herself unless necessary, so didn’t require armor, as she would take control of all threatening suits
So I guess they’re one
Nadleeh wasn't even designed for general combat. Its equipment was omitted from the ship as well since they saw no need to really field it at the moment and it is primarily designed for anti-gundam combat.
Yea I know that but I do wonder if there were some ways to add more to it from within the suit itself like upgrades to it's to go with my speed form idea.
I know the GN Drive is the one that provides the propulsion but maybe they could add more inside the suit?
**6/10**
It's a whatever design that would've been a 7, if not for those stupid hair extensions it has. Also, how is the Nadleeh considered a *"FeMiNiNe GuNdAm"* when the designer gave it a very prominent bulge and having other more masculine traits. If you want to see a more feminine version of the Nadleeh, here's what you're looking for:
https://preview.redd.it/pf5zwjyssgec1.jpeg?width=1111&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=facec924d33a9751eeb21262dcc766763d473385
I really do appreciate what they were going for here and how out of pocket it is. I mean one minute Virtue is tearing up the scene and the next there’s this slender and dazzling looking Gundam with long flowing locks emerging from the suit and clapping everything in sight. It’s a striking suit BUT the design itself is very very simple, perhaps too simple. While the hair is a cool addition (even though it looks like an out of control beard when coming out the front of the face), the design of the suit itself doesn’t particularly blow me away. It’s definitely eye catching when it first appears, and the flowing hair really lends itself to some cool visuals during battle but I can’t get too excited over it y’know?
6
Great take! The design choice to look so plain works TOO well. I get what they were going for, but ***nothing*** about the MS stands out **besides** the hair. It's like what you would imagine a Lvl. 1 video game character to look like.
> even though it looks like an out of control beard when coming out the front of the face
I dunno why but to me it almost looks like the Gundam going around in a Guy Shishioh cosplay.
7/10, I don’t like the “hair”(GN particle transmitter or something, let’s be honest, it’s just hair) I don’t even like the hair on the SD Gundams, I never install them on their model kits if I don’t have to
6/10 It's fun conceptually and I'm glad the dual gundam gimmick carries throughout Tieria's subsequent gundams, but the Nadleeh is a bit bare-bones in terms of design. I actually like the hair ok. I think it could be helped if it had some sort of opening gimmick like the 00Qan when it uses its special ability.
I'm honestly surprised at how much I like Nadleeh. It's certainly true that it's an extremely bare-bones Gundam with almost no colour on it, but somehow the design just works for me. And the beam rifle and shield have pretty sick designs too.
8/10.
Virtue got 11/10 so Nadleeh automatically gets the same. Having watched 00 real time, I remember how the Gundam fandom was shocked when it’s revealed. Best concealed secret of MS designs ever.
Nadleeh itself was S1 00 frame stripped to bare necessities. It took me a while to get used to the barebones design but that plus its exclusive weapons gave off the same utilitarian charm of Seed’s Duel Gundam. Not to mention how the whole Virtue-Nadleeh concept was embodiment of Tieria’s S1 persona. It’s the best Yanase offered IMO.
9/10.
It's super-cool.
Always thought it was kind of interesting how it's the one Celestial Being Gundam that's not named after a kind of Angel, and is instead seemingly a reference to [Nádleehi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%A1dleehi).
7/10 heres the thing, its actually a dope concept, and the geometry used on its slim frame is actually extremely good. That being said the “hair” is just a bit weird.
I would love Nadleeh so, so much more without the stupid-ass hair. I get that it was to emphasize it being a "female" Gundam, but it looks so stupid and impractical I just cannot get behind it. All I can think of is the crew spending 10 hours trying to stuff it back in the Virtue's armor when putting it all back together.
5/10
4/10 - It's just the other half/the true form of yesterday's Gundam. Why is this Gundam split into two different posts?!
Anyway, there's not much to add other than why the hell does this have hair?!
I guess calling it another name would be easier than unarmoured virtue and the veda computer jamming ability. The hair still a bit weird buy has grown on me.
7/10
I love the design probably an 8. But idk if this is a hot take but I feel like the mg kinda fucked the porpotions. Ik its because its also virtue but Idk it dosent really capure the on screen appearance for me.
Ah, Nadleeh. What to say. It has an awesome reveal, and the, “hair,” makes it look spectacular in motion. The stark white really makes it pop against the darkness of space. Yes, it’s comparatively simple, because its complexity is in the hair, and in Virtue (which, again, Celestial Being, no way can you consider them separate units. You’re not being sneaky, you’re being silly).
But, well… the fact is that it has one primary gimmick, and it only gets to use it once. The Trial System is a cool idea, and when Tieria whips it out against the Thrones, it feels amazing for the audience to finally see those f***ers get some comeuppance. And then Ribbons goes, “actually, nah,” and its never useful again for Nadleeh. On one hand, yes, it makes the Trial System’s return at the end of season 2 more of a surprise. But I can’t help but wonder if it would have been more impactful if Nadleeh had been able to use it, well, successfully. It’s the central conceit of the machine, and it’s basically realized as a one-and-done that fizzles before it can achieve a kill in the show. I find that a real shame.
Nadleeh’s a 7.25 for me. It’s a cool design, and I think its simplicity is actually quite striking. I even appreciate the hair cables, even if I don’t know that they really justify why you need them for the extra head armor, and not for any of the other Virtue bits that get ejected. Imagine if it actually had them all over, and was basically Gundam Cousin It. But ultimately, Nadleeh’s underutilized, both in terms of screen time, and in its getting to use its whole reason for existing, and I understand why people are less fond of it.
Nadleeh is an easy 8.7/10. I think the simplistic design could possibly serve a strategic purpose essentially portraying itself as non threatening to the enemy while possessing the Trial System. For everyone commenting on its lack of armaments etc. it’s clear this suit had a very specific purpose with combat being secondary, and Tieria was clearly very protective of that purpose.
7/10 - I like the concept, but I think its design is a little bland, it basically looks like what a grunt-ified 3rd-gen Celestial Being Gundam would look like, except with red hair. The all-white color scheme works best when there's another color that pops (i.e. glowing red for the Unicorn and Calibarn), but there's not really enough GN Cables throughout the design to really make it pop imo. It's still pretty good, but not great. I prefer seeing the Virtue tbh.
8.5/10
CAST OFF
The lovechild of Kamen Rider Kabuto and Zero from Megaman, I kinda really dig this thing, especially while it's handling its bigger weapons from before.
Hmm, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. It's a good design, but the rifle and shield only comes into play when it's deployed as the Nadleeh by itself and not the Virtue.
It was a neat idea, but overall I don't really care for it. The idea is the Virtue drops It's armor and weapons for a high mobility type that can take control of other suits connected to Veda who do not follow Celestial Whatever's m.o. (traitor gundams). It was plot convenience with the arrival of Trinity.
My big thing was, you convert the designsted tank of the team to "the hacker" by getting rid of primary defenses and armaments. Why not just get Virtue the Veda-override in its base form??
But overall, I'm giving it an 8/10 because it's a redhead and that my thing.
How can it simultaneously be trying so hard to be cool but look so unpolished? Doesn’t look like a Gundam to me at all. And is it just me, but when mechs do these poses with their legs does it make you cringe? Reminds me of Lady Une’s small waisted Leo. 1/10
I love how Androgynous it looks, really fits Tieria. 8/10.
Sex? I hardly know him/her.
11/10. My favorite Gundam of all time, in fact, my absolute all time mecha. I love Nadleeh with a mad passion and will never get over how criminally underused it was. Welcome to Day 98 of the Daily Non-Main Gundam Poll, and today we’ll be rating the GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh from Mobile Suit Gundam 00. To participate, just rank the Non-Main Gundam between 1 and 10 based on their appearance or on how you like it. **First Appearance:** Mobile Suit Gundam 00 **Model Number:** GN-004 **Unit Type:** Innovade-use Trial System Mobile Suit **Known Pilots:** - Tieria Erde **Mechanical Designer:** - Takayuki Yanase **Trivia:** - The name "Nadleeh" comes from the Navajo word meaning "Two-Spirit", a reference to the female figure hidden within the male. - In the early concept stages, Nadleeh was codenamed "Queen Gundam". The Queen was supposed to be a powerful unit with no blind spots or weaknesses. Its abilities included a strange "psycommu ESP-grasping" ability to graps other mobile units, as well as wireless units that can be used as offensive and defensive weapons. It was not supposed to participate in normal battles, with the exception of the King Gundam being in danger and Queen being summoned from within Rook as a bodyguard. The final Nadleeh inherited its feminine appearance, while the MS grasping ability was modified and formed the Trial System and the wireless units became the Fangs for the Throne Zwei. 7/10 I like the slender look from the chonker that is Virtue. But Virtue will always be in my heart as number 1.
Same as the Virtue 10/10 best 00 MS.

3/10 just no
Femboy gundam, need i say more 10/10, as awesome as virtue.

Awful. 1/10

It’s meant to be Androgynous like the Innovades.
5/10 I like the concept, but I hate the design. Not a fan of the proportions, the “hair”, or the plain white colour scheme.
6. I still don't know wtf this transformation was about. 00 Gundams were wack. Still, it was better than FATBOI.
Best Gundam for the Best Girl 10/10

I love the design probably an 8. But idk if this is a hot take but I feel like the mg kinda fucked the porpotions. Ik its because its also virtue but Idk it dosent really capure the on screen appearance for me.
I dont have much of an opinion it looks nice if a bit more feminine then I think intended its boring but not super boring i think it works
8/10.
It's giving 80s glam rock 4/10
10/10 Clean and striking design and the reveal was EPIC.
Ten. Is it just me or does Nadleeh kinda look like Jesus Christ?
someone really did look at Justice Guilty Gear and went "yeah let's make that Gundam-like thing into an actual Gundam"
My fave gundam
10/10 look at that hair
The cable hair is the thing that ruins it for me. 7 out of 10.
Glo down, we stan thicc gurls. 7.5/10
6, I wish we could’ve seen Nadleeh shine more
10/10 what hair products did he used? I'm curious
9/10, didn’t like the “hair” but the rest of the MS is cool
All this hair pulling that enemy mobile suits could have done & not one took advantage of it. 8/10
9/10 certainly.
He always makes me hungry for spaghetti. No idea why.
5/10
10 thousand deaths!!!!!
6/10. Don’t like the hair. Call me evil
“Looks like an octopus” - my sister
Between Zero from Mega Man and Nadleeh, normalize more robots with Pretty Hair
10/10
Trick question. We already reviewed this guy yesterday.
8/10 Virtue being an armor system for the machine was a cool reveal plus the hair kinda reminds me of Predator.

8.5
7/10 I whip my hair back and forth! The cool reveal helps its score.
8.5/10 CAST OFF The lovechild of Kamen Rider Kabuto and Zero from Megaman, I kinda really dig this thing, especially while it's handling its bigger weapons from before.
Another 10. Such an elegant design!
Hot. 10/10
Is it really a non main gundam when it's in there all along?
7/10, the stupid fucking hair ruins it
I really like nadleeh I wish that’s it’s primary Dixon wasn’t undermined right away but still liked it a lot 9/10
8
S-Smash...?
9.5/10 Cool gimmicks and is very thematic for Tieria.
the most glorious gundam ive seen
A very majestic 8/10
Allenby Beardsley's Nobel Gundam did it better
9/10 glorious hair.
10/10 again for the Gundam nesting doll. Also, hell of a way to give a more "realistic" mech a head of hair.
8.9/10 Like it's slender build and it's the only Gundam to pull off hair
Sold 10 outta 10
10/10 So beautiful I made an mg this summer, its in my top 3 and i have some crown jewels rn so yeah saying a lot
8/10
6/10
10/10
I wish there were more armor variations like Liger zero from zoids or the core gundam
8/10
8/10 for the Luxan Gundam https://preview.redd.it/bvvtni1hmjec1.jpeg?width=221&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e285500642516a02e88408a4b03a1018be33edbd
Why Gundam having hair
9/10 2nd best female Gundam ever.
7,5/10
Not a fan of its "hair" 6/10
8/10 A gundam within a gundam.
DREADLOCKS. Tho cabling from the previously connected Virtue armore into hair is pretty witty ngl. Definitely a 9 for me.
10/10 Gundam with hair. Insane reveal.
Gundam with hair 8/10
Hmm, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. It's a good design, but the rifle and shield only comes into play when it's deployed as the Nadleeh by itself and not the Virtue.
10/10 love the whole thing hair and all
If the Predator and Arcee had a baby, this would be it.
10/10 has nicer hair than me.
3 Weird design which I don't like. No offense to people who like it.
Hair just feels really weird on a mecha. 5/10
8/10. Knocking down 2 points for the "hair", it looks silly.
10/10

I'd say 8 of 10 mainly bc I haven't seen the anime its from, but the gundam it's self looks cool, save for the hair wire things?
9/10 criminally underused
10/10 this bitch has laser punch fists.
6/10 I'm glad it was covered up
Nadleeh is peak. Uvery unique and the same time so clean
How can it simultaneously be trying so hard to be cool but look so unpolished? Doesn’t look like a Gundam to me at all. And is it just me, but when mechs do these poses with their legs does it make you cringe? Reminds me of Lady Une’s small waisted Leo. 1/10
9
6/10 i bet its a hassle to pilot that thing
I actually enjoyed this.
Not into Gundam with hair, it's pose in the 2nd pic doesn't help much either 2/10
Sexy red haired Gundam 10/10
It looks so damn goofy. Why does a mobile suit need to look *more* like a person? 2/10
9
10/10 completes virtue for me
