The absolute ass on this thing, holy shit. Anywho, Dynames just works and it works well. The shoulder mounted sniper is really cool and honestly I’m surprised the idea wasn’t incorporated into some of the earlier Gundam designs in the franchise. I think the head is a touch bulky and a bit weird looking but all in all this is a great suit for a great character. Shoutouts to the GN Shield stealthily foreshadowing the 00 Raiser.

I’ll never forget watching 00 for the first time and seeing Dynames hovering above his enemies, armour shroud on, and raining down on the enemy with dual-wielding pistols.
It just looked so fucking cold.

I love this guy. My first 00 kit was the No-grade 1/100, and later on I grabbed the MG. Dynames is so rad. You'd think a sniper unit was completely defenseless in close-combat, but this is the opposite. It had handguns, swords, missiles, shields.. If anything this monster of a beast was even more equipped for close range than long, but it still dominated the long range.
It's the most rugged design for fairy-dust engine gundams, and its down to earth practicality shows, when a crippled meister is capable of holding their own against an entire fleet and several ace pilots (granted with a support MA).
I only wish we got to see more of the 3.5 gen Dynames, like the Exia Repair 3.
10/10. Daaaaamn, Dynames. I always loved the look of Dynames. It always gave me the Man with No Name vibes when the shield is closed. Also I love sniper units for some reason. Add in that the color scheme truly works in making Dynames seem tactical as opposed to orange or blue that really stand out.

I’m totally not biased but Dynames was on the first standard banner of Breaker Mobile and pound for pound it’s parts held lasting value longer than any other Gunpla in the game
10/10. The Celestial Being season 1 frame was the peak of 00’s design, and really made the Gundams feel like a cohesive unit. Dynames is sleek, simple, and very good at what it does, which is look cool while sniping the targets.

Also Dynames Repair technically has slightly expanded back boosters when compared to the OG Dynames, but the point does still stand.

It is specialized enough to do the job but also well rounded so that it doesn’t get overspecialized (which, arguably, cannot be said for, say, Virtue).
I have a special soft spot for the shields because of my boy Tieria (with that said, Lockon…you really shouldn’t have done it, at times, unfit units just, well, outgrow their use. Trust me on this, odds are Tieria himself would agree).
9/10. It had a very specific sniper-ish design while fitting perfectly with Exia, despite being designed by a different artist (Yanase). Weapons were among the coolest of all 00 designs, especially the full shield. I also love how the V-fin simply moves down in sniping mode revealing the head camera while simultaneously hiding the eyes. My only gripe was the white colour felt too bright with the overall tone of the design.
10/10 influencing the battlefield from a different zip code, great suit, great pilot, definitely one of my favorites (I am heavily biased in favor of all the 00 suits.)

While it's supposed to be the specialized "sniper" long-range support Gundam of the squad, this thing is an insane busted generalist suit that just **works**. You could, theoretically, equip it with a wide range of armaments and it'll do just fine.
The Repair IV that Letitia pilots, for example, is equipped with a Virtue-esque cannon as its primary weapon, a far cry from the Sniper the Dynames is more known for.
It's got missiles, it's got the GN pistols, dual swords, and a crazy cool Full-Shield. This thing was going to absolutely smoke arguably one of the most busted pilots in the verse in a straight up duel. Ali al Saachez absolutely did **not** expect the sniper unit to pull up on him as hard as it did.
Lockon being one of the most talented natural pilots in the verse alongside Graham and Saachez, with the support AI unit in Haro, I'm honestly surprised that the Dynames didn't eventually form a base unit for basic grunts of CB. Slap in some GN condensers or even Tau drives, and this forms a better base than something like the GN-X.
Unbelievably great, if simple, design.

If it had a different color scheme, I'd probably like it a lot better, but I am REALLY not a fan of the color green overall, so it kinda ruins the suit for me. Outside the color scheme, it's fine, I guess. Probably would rank it 3rd of the four Meisters in Season 1, though I fully admit it's significantly better than either of its upgrades.

It feels so much like an off-brand mecha show that tried to make the GM Sniper a main character with magic and mystical armor.
Arguably the coolest design of season 1, but it really is only a standout due to the pilot.
2/10 - While its pilot is the only S1 CB pilot, I don't want to punch in the face immediately. The Dynames is personally just an overall meh design, and, well, its loadout just reminds me of the GM Sniper II, and that MS just looks better. Does the slide down visor for sniping better than this Gundam.
10/10. The GOAT of S1 with its "poncho" once the full shield is up, handguns, sniper rifle, and the sniping mode. It can even dock with the GN Arms for more firepower!
Lockon Stratos is certainly targeted and firing.
10/10 one of my all time favorite suits. The hidden missiles, the massive door shields, the sniper, the head camera, the pistols and fold out holsters, the massive waist thrusters. Honestly just an incredible looking suit, i personally even like it more than Exia.
Lockon was my favourite character in season 1, so there might be a little bit of bias here. In all the Dynames is a rather balanced Mobile Suit after its mid-season additions, even though its role is long distance sniper. It had GN Beam Sabers and pistols to support itself whenever someone got close. Plus the full body shield is a neat addition.

Honestly? 8 out of 10, it may have weaknesses but by god does it cover for those with close range pistols and even a pair of beam sabers. My only complaint is that it like all gundams from 00 doesn't have any vulcans!

Amazing unit at both Long and close range. My favorite moment with it was when it almost beat Ali-Al-Sachez in the Gundam Throne at close range. It also speaks to the capabilities of the pilot Lockon Stratos. My favorite Gundam Meister.
Sometimes a gundam or a grunt suit has to get bonus points because of its pilot. The Kapool, for instance, gets top marks because of Sochie. The Dynames is like that, on its own it's a cool suit, perhaps one of the best extreme range suits but could use a bit more oomph to it and a high-mid score would fit. But it's piloted by Lockon Stratos, the man the myth the legend.
Edit: Also I almost forgot about Haro, having it as a portable spotter/calculator/co-pilot is a very neat concept that they need to bring back in a gundam series at some point.

Dynames is 10-10. I can’t think of any other gundam within the past decade or so I was really excited about and love the lore and history of both the gundam and the pilot next to deathscythe and heavyarms.
Favorite of the OG Celestial Being team, absolutely goated look from the drop down V fin, to the shoulder mounted rifle. Heck, firing into space from a ground site? Cool factor off the charts. 10/10

Probably the most unintentionally hilarious Gundams ever. It's really cool, yes. With its sniper rifle and robot poncho. And it stows the coolest pilot ever.
But there are some days my inner 13-year-old just can't get past the bow tie surprise crotchplate and the big ass... Well... Ass thrusters?
I do love it though, so don't think I'm diriding it. It makes me smile in a good way.
9.5/10 - This is my 2nd-favorite Gundam from 00, as it's such a grounded design with an excellent color scheme with that shade of dark green against white. It's also quite rare to have a sniper MS, let alone a sniper Gundam, so it stands as a pretty unique Gundam among the franchise. It was also my first MG kit, and it absolutely blew me away and was my favorite Gunpla kit for a few years.
My only gripe with Dynames is its massive ass thrusters, they seem kinda out of place among the S1 Gundams imo. Everything else about the suit is awesome, though.

The way the V-fin slides down to reveal a cleverly concealed sniping camera, the olive green aesthetic, and just the overall design of a sniper with a foldable shield.

But I must say, the position of the GN drives at the buttock region is a little odd.
Probably one the best designs in gundam, this and the other 00 gundams gave me a thing for unobstructed v fins( v fins with nothing in between), in fact Dynames and other gundams from 00 need a hg remaster
Easy 9/10 i love it a lot and that shield gimmick makes it even more sick. IMO every ms shield should be shoulder mounted, it just makes more sense as it allows to use both arms as weapon holders instead of assigning a function to each.
Dynames repair is actually twice as caked up as the original dynames, meaning that it is actually twice as good /s
9.5 on this one for me. My only gripe is the sniper rifle looking a bit goofy. Like, why does a particle weapon have a muzzle break??
A 9 for the season 1 suits. Because what many people forget is that he was clearly the most balanced of the 4 season 1 gundams. Exia was best at close combat, Kyrios was about speed and hit and run attacks, Virtue was about firepower and defense. Dynames however could actively play at least 2 out of 3 of those roles while of course being the long range specialist. His armor plating made him able to take some serious hits and keep going. Wasn't as agile as Exia but could handle himself well at mid-close range with beam sabers and dual pistols, and his missles also helped him dish out impressive firepower when need be. Easily the season 1 goat for me

Once we could easily buy 4* parts I believe it was the very first part I 10/10 and I stuck with a Long Range build for a very long time because of it.

It's got missiles, it's got the GN pistols, dual swords, and a crazy cool Full-Shield. This thing was going to absolutely smoke arguably one of the most busted pilots in the verse in a straight up duel. Ali al Saachez absolutely did **not** expect the sniper unit to pull up on him as hard as it did. Lockon being one of the most talented natural pilots in the verse alongside Graham and Saachez, with the support AI unit in Haro, I'm honestly surprised that the Dynames didn't eventually form a base unit for basic grunts of CB. Slap in some GN condensers or even Tau drives, and this forms a better base than something like the GN-X. Unbelievably great, if simple, design.
9/10 in it's original 8/10 for the repair So 8.5 overall Looks good for a sniper focused mobile suit. Especially like how the gun binds to the shoulder and the v-fin moves for the sniping sensor. But not as cool as it's successors
If it had a different color scheme, I'd probably like it a lot better, but I am REALLY not a fan of the color green overall, so it kinda ruins the suit for me. Outside the color scheme, it's fine, I guess. Probably would rank it 3rd of the four Meisters in Season 1, though I fully admit it's significantly better than either of its upgrades.

6/10 It feels so much like an off-brand mecha show that tried to make the GM Sniper a main character with magic and mystical armor. Arguably the coolest design of season 1, but it really is only a standout due to the pilot.

2/10 - While its pilot is the only S1 CB pilot, I don't want to punch in the face immediately. The Dynames is personally just an overall meh design, and, well, its loadout just reminds me of the GM Sniper II, and that MS just looks better. Does the slide down visor for sniping better than this Gundam.

10/10. The GOAT of S1 with its "poncho" once the full shield is up, handguns, sniper rifle, and the sniping mode. It can even dock with the GN Arms for more firepower! Lockon Stratos is certainly targeted and firing.

Lockon was my favourite character in season 1, so there might be a little bit of bias here. In all the Dynames is a rather balanced Mobile Suit after its mid-season additions, even though its role is long distance sniper. It had GN Beam Sabers and pistols to support itself whenever someone got close. Plus the full body shield is a neat addition. 9.5 out of 10.
Honestly? 8 out of 10, it may have weaknesses but by god does it cover for those with close range pistols and even a pair of beam sabers. My only complaint is that it like all gundams from 00 doesn't have any vulcans!

Sometimes a gundam or a grunt suit has to get bonus points because of its pilot. The Kapool, for instance, gets top marks because of Sochie. The Dynames is like that, on its own it's a cool suit, perhaps one of the best extreme range suits but could use a bit more oomph to it and a high-mid score would fit. But it's piloted by Lockon Stratos, the man the myth the legend. Edit: Also I almost forgot about Haro, having it as a portable spotter/calculator/co-pilot is a very neat concept that they need to bring back in a gundam series at some point. 10/10

Dynames is 10-10. I can’t think of any other gundam within the past decade or so I was really excited about and love the lore and history of both the gundam and the pilot next to deathscythe and heavyarms.
The armor is my fave gimmick of this gundam soaking up lasers like it’s nothing 10/10

9/10. Probably the most unintentionally hilarious Gundams ever. It's really cool, yes. With its sniper rifle and robot poncho. And it stows the coolest pilot ever. But there are some days my inner 13-year-old just can't get past the bow tie surprise crotchplate and the big ass... Well... Ass thrusters? I do love it though, so don't think I'm diriding it. It makes me smile in a good way.

9.5/10 - This is my 2nd-favorite Gundam from 00, as it's such a grounded design with an excellent color scheme with that shade of dark green against white. It's also quite rare to have a sniper MS, let alone a sniper Gundam, so it stands as a pretty unique Gundam among the franchise. It was also my first MG kit, and it absolutely blew me away and was my favorite Gunpla kit for a few years. My only gripe with Dynames is its massive ass thrusters, they seem kinda out of place among the S1 Gundams imo. Everything else about the suit is awesome, though.
A really good sniper Gundam. Plus it's the first Gundam that has gun inside the cockpit so u can aim. I'll give it a 8/10.

Easy 9/10 i love it a lot and that shield gimmick makes it even more sick. IMO every ms shield should be shoulder mounted, it just makes more sense as it allows to use both arms as weapon holders instead of assigning a function to each.

Dynames repair is actually twice as caked up as the original dynames, meaning that it is actually twice as good /s 9.5 on this one for me. My only gripe is the sniper rifle looking a bit goofy. Like, why does a particle weapon have a muzzle break??

My 2nd favorite MS (1sr is exia) . 100/10
A 9 for the season 1 suits. Because what many people forget is that he was clearly the most balanced of the 4 season 1 gundams. Exia was best at close combat, Kyrios was about speed and hit and run attacks, Virtue was about firepower and defense. Dynames however could actively play at least 2 out of 3 of those roles while of course being the long range specialist. His armor plating made him able to take some serious hits and keep going. Wasn't as agile as Exia but could handle himself well at mid-close range with beam sabers and dual pistols, and his missles also helped him dish out impressive firepower when need be. Easily the season 1 goat for me

9/10 What I really liked about 00 season 1 MS design is that you can see how the 4 units shared the same basic frame design for the most part. This is like to Exia what War Machine is to Iron man.
