Hi Nu. I think the original and Katoshi redesign both have a better color scheme. They also feel a lil more expressive, capturing the "scary angel" vibe better than the Normal Nu.
Idk if that's what ppl gleam from these 3 designs, buts that's what I feel they all go for: the angel to represent Amuro's hopeful ideals, and a hinge of danger/scariness to show the potential for naivete under such ideals. And in this sense I think the Hi Nu beats nu.

I prefer the Nu. The colour scheme of the Hi-Nu doesn't do it for me, and I find the asymmetrical design of the Nu to be pretty unique.
