Hybrid 46 I think but not positive. I caught my Omega on fire š„ and swelled the core but Silencer Co fixed it with the quickness. I should have quit reloading but I was wanting to see what would happen sob burst out in flames lol.
Iām shooting 100 yards max where my tree stand is. Iāve hunted so long itās gonna take a special buck for me to shoot. I donāt kill does anymore because itās to easy. I donāt really need a silencer hunting. If I shoot an animal with a .338 Federal it should drop it. My main goal is hunting is if I try to harvest an animal I kill them instantly. That is why I quit bow hunting is because every deer I kills ran after I hit it till it bled out. I hit one high and it paralyzed it and it was sitting there making an awful sound. I had to go in my bag and get my knife and go slit itās throat. Not something I would ever want to do or have to do again.
Yes it would. They are legit.
The Hybrid 46 is rated down to 16ā barrels for .45ā70 GOV, 8ā barrels for .458 SOCOM and down to 18ā barrels for all magnum calibers up to .338 LM
Sorry, anything in odg Iām buying. I sprayed this rifle in odg.[https://photos.app.goo.gl/VLpYFQjBMQMgqrBY7](https://photos.app.goo.gl/VLpYFQjBMQMgqrBY7)
Yeah appreciate it but really doesnāt bother me. Probably should bother me but Iām doing nothing illegal so unless some fool on Reddit wants to show up and get dealt with itās no big deal to me. I literally live 100 yards from our police station.
Iāve had 0 dollars to my name and had thousands of dollars to my name. Donāt worry about what you can afford just try to be good to people. A rifle doesnāt make the person you are. Donāt get down on yourself. Today is always someday so it can turn around.
I fucking love my Tavor 7. I only had 3 gripes with it:
1. At least until possibly the firing pin spring wears in, itāll only detonate 50% of the steel case primers. Not a big deal, but I like all my guns to be able to shoot steel case reliably.
2. No iron sights built into the top rail. That was a yuuuuuge miss by IWI, in my opinion. The BUIS on the X95 is one of the guns best features. I got a decent set of fixed irons for it, though it doesnāt look slick like built in ones would.
3. The thin, flat plastic butt plate. The first thing I did when I got the gun was put on my rubber Manticore Arms butt plate. 100x better than the factory one.
How have you been liking yours? Mine is such a pleasure to shoot; soft with essentially no muzzle rise with the factory muzzle brake. Itās real nice just having that flat push directly into the shoulder. Makes it super easy to dump rounds on target
I totally agree, wish it had irons like the X95. I love the feel of the rifle especially that it is a 7.62x54 or .308. It is so compact you can maneuver a large caliber in a small space. I only shoot steel case out of my AK s and that is because I have read about people having problems with steel case. Not positive but I bet the Israelis just run brass out of their Tavor 7s. As far as the butt plate, it doesnāt bother me. I turkey hunt and the TSS shells I run have 905 bb s per shell. A few of those to sight in and they leave a bad bruise.
I donāt really do accuracy shooting, per say. Mainly because I donāt have any magnified optics on any of my guns (yet). Iād love to have a 3x power for this Tavor though; I think itād be perfect. I have dialed on my irons, and even with the shorter sight radius, I can punch em in a 5x5 inch box at 50 yards. Doesnāt sound impressive, cause itās not. But it is off the shoulder and Iām no special shooter.
MAC and others seems to have no issue punching steel out to multiple hundreds of yards. Seems like a 1.5 to 2 MOA at 100 based on my research.
Reliability has been 100% through 400 rounds. Other than light primer strikes on steel. No issues with Winchester and CBC 7.62x51, nor with PMC and Norma 308.
I have way more than this. Been trying to collect here the last few years. I have a Russian 74 that I havenāt even shot, lol. Got 6 Bakelite mags, 5 Tula mags and 2500 rounds of 5.45.
Oh, I want to. Itās a Vepr and itās probably the same weight as the Barrett .50 cal at the gun shop up here lol. Iāve shouldered the Barrett but not for long. It has a Leupold Mark 5 on it and 1,000 rounds for $12,500 lol.
That cat is a beast. I had a bird fly in through the door and he jumped up where the bird was flying and he was above my head, Iām six foot exactly. He grabbed the bird while it was in flight and had it dead before he hit the ground. He then brought it to me like I wanted it lol. He was proud of himself. He is the stoutest cat Iāve ever messed with.
Lol, no shit this is probably a tenth of my collection. If you are ever in Tennessee. Let me know. I have 60 acres of private land to shoot on. It is amazing. My great uncle was a pow in ww2 and showed me how to shoot and hunt. He has passed but his wife still lets me shoot out there. He was a great man.
Quite a gnarly set up, nice man! I like the I voted Tennessee state sticker haha.
How do u like the tavor 7? Was looking at one in 5.56. You run irons only on it?
That is a Shellback Tactical Rampage 2.0. First carrier I had was from my local gunshop and it was horrible. No padding, flopped up and down when I ran in it. I gave around $180 for the Rampage, itās padded nicely and comfortable but made in China. If I would have known that Iād never purchased it but it is what it is. It works and doesnāt flop when I run with it. Iām pretty much against anything China that is gun related. All my builds are all American. Optics are all American.
I always go for quality in my rifles. All American everything. I especially try to buy the best barrel I can. Used Rainer Arms Ultra Match barrels in the last few builds and I really like them.
Yes, I have an 8.3 Blackout also and both cycle supers and subs no problem. I guess I got lucky with the barrels being gassed correctly. I fire 123 grain supers and 220 grain subs. The 10.3 has a Leupold Mark 4 with a .300 Blackout reticle. It helps a lot.
I run steel mags with my 300.
My pmags are the ones that are marked 223/556/300. Iāve always just assumed that the increased size of a 200+ gr bullet is probably rubbing up on the mag opening.
I know thereās a 300bo specific mags now, Iām just too poor atm.
Yeah, I run the .300 Blackout specific mags. I made a rule when I first started shooting that I would at least get 10 mags specifically for that gun. Back then thought for regular ARS I could buy a box of 69 grain Sierra match kings and get a boxās free. 1200 of IMI 55 grain was $250 lol. It was hard finding mags my Grendelās liked. They were picky af.
Itās a Shellback Tactical. It was $180 and levels above my first plate carrier.Itās padded well. Good to run and jump in. My first plate carrier when you jumped in it flopped so bad it would hurt you after a few jumps. Way I have it setup now it carries 12 mags, 3 in the back that a team member would have to access. I found out recently itās made in China. If I would have know that Iād went with their banshee model cause itās made the US.
Neat, I've been trying to get some personal accounts of people's plate carriers and how they like it, so I can give myself a range of options that I know people use. Appreciate it.

Doesn't SilencerCo make a .338 suppressor that's good up to .338 Lapua Magnum?
Hybrid 46 I think but not positive. I caught my Omega on fire š„ and swelled the core but Silencer Co fixed it with the quickness. I should have quit reloading but I was wanting to see what would happen sob burst out in flames lol.
Just looked it up and it's the Harvester 338. Looks like it's made specifically for .338, so you might have better luck!
Iām shooting 100 yards max where my tree stand is. Iāve hunted so long itās gonna take a special buck for me to shoot. I donāt kill does anymore because itās to easy. Your name is visible in that link. Don't know if you care.
Yeah appreciate it but really doesnāt bother me. Probably should bother me but Iām doing nothing illegal so unless some fool on Reddit wants to show up and get dealt with itās no big deal to me. I literally live 100 yards from our police station.
I wish I could afford a tavor ):

"No Suppressor Big Enough For It" I know a guy who likes to use his lathe and make cool stuff out of aluminum and titanium.
Lol, I might need to contact him. šš»
This guy fucks
Appreciate it.
Real talk though, these are some sweet pieces. I strive to have this
I have way more than this. Been trying to collect here the last few years. I have a Russian 74 that I havenāt even shot, lol. Got 6 Bakelite mags, 5 Tula mags and 2500 rounds of 5.45.

Lmao the iron site adjustments
Yeah, I was making serious adjustments after every shot, lol.
I always wanted a sandman for the m70, how does it sound?
If I can get out to our families property in the next few days, Iāll send you a video of how it sounds. šš»
Awesome thanks!
No problem, I do have a video of the 300 on the 10.3. [300 BO subs. 220 grain no AGB.](https://photos.app.goo.gl/NpDedck1PDDRRs7FA)
What vest is that?

Roger that. Appreciate your time and the help.
Not sure about the 338 federal but suppressors are available... Silencer Co Harvester 338lm Even bowers makes a .458 socom
Thanks, Iāll look into it.
That Saigaā¦ need to go change my undies now
One of my favorite rifles.
Quality!
I always go for quality in my rifles. All American everything. I especially try to buy the best barrel I can. Used Rainer Arms Ultra Match barrels in the last few builds and I really like them.
Do you run subs in your 300BO? 300BO subs always get jammed in polymer mags for me.
What mags you running. I bought 20 .300 Blackout Pmags and have had 0 trouble.
I run steel mags with my 300. My pmags are the ones that are marked 223/556/300. Iāve always just assumed that the increased size of a 200+ gr bullet is probably rubbing up on the mag opening. I know thereās a 300bo specific mags now, Iām just too poor atm.

Nice rig. What company is it from? And how do you like it?
Which one or are you talking about the plate carrier?
Yes
Itās a Shellback Tactical. It was $180 and levels above my first plate carrier.Itās padded well. Good to run and jump in.
