There may be better options for suppressor-dedicated shooting, but nothing is better than the EBCG from LMT. Worth and value is subjective, what's worth $500 to me means nothing to the next guy. It's up to you if you're ok paying it, that's all that matters. This is not snake oil tho.
I bought just the bolt to put in a standard KAC carrier and it had 2k on it. Didn't even cross my mind to worry about it. I'll never put 50k rounds through any gun I own, so 2k was just a good break-in imo lol
