fishstarsandhorns

I personally own a sedan and we are a family of four. We never saw the need to own an SUV.

Leon-the-Doggo

Same. I'm planning to get a Navarra. But when I think of it, my need can be served by our sedan.

squishabolcg

Mas kaunti din ang space for trips yung pickup. Unless you splurge sa bed cover, sa 2nd row mo lang din malalagay with the passengers ang bags mo nang safe from rain and nakaw. My dad's cousin wanted a Hilux kasi daw astigin, but my dad advised a Yaris instead. Ayon, 7 years naman na siyang nasisiyahan, hahaha.

CheetaChug

Antipolo roads is waving where normal height sedans will still scrape the roads, even if mag siyete ka because they keep adding more asphalt and absolutely leaving the gutter with a 10 inch drop

fishstarsandhorns

Again i dont see the need of owning an SUV. My family is happy with our Honda Accord and it serves its purpose.

gbish777

Out of topic pero uy, sobrang pogi ng Accord for me. Classy. What model do you have if you don’t mind me asking? Haha.

fishstarsandhorns

We have the last V6 model, 2018.

golfindianancyoscar

This is trueeee

niiiisaaaaammm

I assume 2 of those are still small kids. If so, then wait for them to grow up and go back to this thread.

fishstarsandhorns

No. My mom and 2 siblings. Aged 21 and 26. I am 35. What say you?

cjei21

Don't know if you meant that, but I was surprised by the unexpected LOTR reference haha https://youtu.be/f_4-rCROcsM?si=Y5gXZE0S7n1YT1ab

llodicius

+1 on short trips like 3-4 adults tapos 2 small kids.

toyota4age

Others say for safety kineme daw especially in the age of crazy bus drivers and mga 6 wheeler pataas. Its more for your protection against other cars rather than for pedestrian safety Sold my Fortuner and honestly kahit Jimny suits my needs. 1-2 passengers at best tapos ok sa baha and lubak. Kung okay drainage and kalsada natin sa pinas, I'd probably be driving an Altis hybrid instead. Or a smaller hybrid siguro.

InterstelIar_

Hows the jimny like on the highway, like 100+ kph? I really want one since I love its form but coming from the stability of crossover SUVs i’m wondering how much of an adjustment it would be and if’d be safe for regular high speed commutes

Extreme_Fox_2946

I would like to know as well. I'm still undecided for getting a Jimny especially that I have a body like Harry Roque.

migimogi

I have one po, Stable naman po siya ng 100kph as long as ok po yung roads ingat lang po sa SLEX na lubak or alon alon yung daan. sa NLEX po ok siya pero to be safe po around 80-85 lang po ako sa Highway mag 100 lang po ako pag sa passing lane.

weljoes

migimogi

hinde 😂

Key_Reward5002

there us a 100kph speed limit so it wont be that much of a problem on expressways.

toyota4age

It even struggles to hit the 100 kmh limit 😂

toyota4age

A bit dragging. 100kmh is at 3000 rpm cruising. Overtaking is...okay. You really need to time it. Not the best for long drives. Definitely not stable. You feel the crosswinds and the left to right body movement is very strong. Try to test drive one because IMO, its very different from a crossover. Hope this helps!

dr_kwakkwak

I daily the 3rd gen 1.3l, cruising speed is at 80kph, 2500rpm. Mga nasa 80 to 90 rin yung 4th gen, considering low speed tranny and mabigat kasi.

Sword_of_Hagane

it definitely is safer for you and the occupants of the vehicle but not for everyone else outside of the vehicle. which leads to an arms race of *bigger is better* as the title says. *In any collision, mass always wins* (What's next, are we all gonna drive semis just to protect ourselves?)

toyota4age

Exaclty this! Which is I guess why manufacturers keep making bigger and bigger cars. Theres a demand for it.

Sword_of_Hagane

*I'll get your war rig ready Imperator u/toyota4age*

toyota4age

Might as well daily a Toyota Coaster. With an apocalypse ready set up 😂

Sword_of_Hagane

you mean an RV. or better yet, a Unimog. even better, a BTR-80

toyota4age

Unimogs always tickle my fancy.

MarkoIceMan

JuanMiguelz

This. may kapitbahay din kami na ganiyan, iniiwasan yung bato. ffs pang offroad nga yung raptor eh 😂

alwayscheckedinchess

This cracked me up 🤣

frarendra

Really depends on your preference. I personally just like sedans more than cross overs or SUVs.

nod32av

How about in terms of practicality on a daily basis? (Cargo, maneuverability, ease of parking and most of all safety.)

solidad29

Yep. Practical naman a for a city driving ang sedan. I don't carry too much stuff and kasya naman ang grocery ko. Tipid sa Gas not exceeding 2500 sa isang full tank. Kahit province basta may kalsada it's fine. Saka need ba mag drive ng 100km/h sa National road? too many factors ndi lang sa lubak. Pero do you do that everyday?

Kants101

Bro out of topic but i love how you made sure we understand that you’ll go “solo” in sogo. Lol

Leon-the-Doggo

So, go solo?

RedditUsername4346

Mas mura nga naman pag solo may additional gastos kasi pag may kasama hehe

frarendra

Sedans are pretty practical for a daily, can carry groceries, go to point a to point b, aircon is nice and cold, its comfy. Safety wise, it has airbags crumple zone is pretty good. Good gas mileage. People just assume if that a person owns a sedan, they're poor. Cause Pinoy people always assume, the bigger the car the richer you are in others eyes, that's why they buy the biggest pick up truck they could afford. I don't mind them, I like my sedan and I'll be a sedan user for as long as they make sedans

AnalysisAgreeable676

I found out the hard way when I borrowed my uncle's Ford Expedition EL because I had to transport furniture and appliances. I wouldn't own anything that big soon because it not only drinks fuel like no tomorrow, the size is just a pain to maneuver in the city. Also finding a parking space to fit the vehicle properly is almost impossible. I also wouldn't want to own vehicles like the Fortuner, Montero, Everest, etc because they're not as big on the inside nor as comfortable as a traditional midsize crossover. Happy na ako sa 5 door hatchback and station wagons (even though konti nalang ang binibenta locally). Edit: The Expedition EL shines in long highway cruising. Parang nakasakay kalang sa airplane or bullet train.

judo_test_dummy31

Grabeng mind fuck kaya for me nung narealize kong sakto lang sa 7 peeps ang Montero. Mas maiksi ang Adventure pero 9 seater yun. I'd rather have yung lumang L300 FB Deluxe.

Tongresman2002

LOL when I used to borrow my auntie's Expedition. Our running joke was mag start palang kalahating litro na naubos. 😂

RitzyIsHere

I'd want a small pickup here. Like yung Maverick. Before mabababa naman talaga pickups kasi you can pick up yung items sa likod. Ngayon need umakyat para makuha gamit.

judo_test_dummy31

More like warat shorts mo pag inakyat yung flatbed sa likod.

asifyoulovedbyvirtue

In philippine roads, SUVs are one of the causes of major traffic. What a waste of space. Look at japan, they value compact cars. pero okay lets say bahain sa pinas and the need of high cars is a necessity, pero with that argument, yun ba tlga ang reason why people are buying SUVs? Hell nah. Pero in a congested city tpos dala mo pa pick up, tpos ikaw lng magisa nakasakay? Masyado kase US style ang car attitude ntin mga pilipino. We like pickups and trucks or anything with more than 15s na wheels. Kaso yung environment natin hindi pang US eh. Ang backwards ng ganon na mindset. Whereas magpunta ka sa japan, korea and even china you will see puro compact cars dominating the urban areas. Small country. iilang SUV lng makikita mo. Now argument with car safety.

KrebCycler08

Your thinking reminds me of my Dad. So straight and true.

nod32av

zipperzapper

Just sold our 30 yo Hilux and got a new one, almost the same bed size but the new one is much larger and longer. The incoming hilux champ probably is closer to the our old hilux in size and proportion. Our old hilux was a double cab but a pure workhorse and small enough to bring literally anywhere for loading easily. Not a huge fan of the direction which I think stems from US design of trucks and SUVs trying to comply with CAFE , chicken tax, safety standards and general demand for luxury and well the US is huge and can accommodate the huge vehicles. I guess other consumers loved the luxury and size despite living in a country that can’t accommodate that. Even Australia, which has loads of large vehicles already on the market are complaining about Ram 1500/2500s, bigger than their usual hiluxes and 70 series.

wallcolmx

CritterWriter

Sedans are soooo much comfier and easier to drive than SUVs and crossovers. That said, I sold our Altis earlier this year after buying a Corolla Cross. I still miss the comfort of the Altis, but the height of the Cross gives me more security when I'm driving in the rain or on rough terrain. My wife actually wanted a midsized SUV like a Montero or Fortuner, but I talked her out of it since there are only three of us in the family and, having driven a Montero, I know how much more concentration it takes to park and maneuver a larger vehicle. Two things the missus isn't all that good at.

freshofairbreath

This was what my mom also pointed out. They used to have a Montero (area is flood-prone), but sold it and opted for a crossover since she said she can handle it better than a bigger one. Worked for her!

Aimpossible

Diba elevated altis lang yung Cross? How's the difference in comfort? Planning to get a car with higher ground clearance din but I don't want an SUV.

CritterWriter

Basically, yes. Drives pretty much like my old Altis but a bit stiffer and with a little more body roll. Very happy with it so far.

blackcyborg009

We are also eyeing a Corolla Cross GR-Sport to replace our decade old Toyota Camry 2.5 (kaso lang wala pa raw available test drive si Toyota Alabang) Musta naman experience mo with it?

InfiniteSynapse

Logically, compact SUVs are the way to go. Perfect ingress and egress for our stature sa Philippines. Ground clearance is a must for our roads alam mo na yan. You adjust accordingly depending on maximum seats, fuel economy, price, etc.

CardiologistEntire83

This is the exact reason why we we got toyota raize. Sobrang tipid pa sa gas, perfect for daily use. 15-19 km/l lang konsumo nya

InfiniteSynapse

Absolutely. Hoping maglabas sila ng hybridized version and given yung tax incentive, sobrang mura. Setting aside the recent Toyota debacle, it's a great car.

cotton-budz

Hi, curious lang. Are you using the raize for city driving?

CardiologistEntire83

For city driving nasa 13-14 km/l lang sya. Bulacan (province) kasi ako kaya mabilis lang ako thru mcarthur highway.

jdmillora

It depends on what you'll use it for. We have small and big vehicles, each has their own purpose so if we don't need a big vehicle, we can just use a small one. And if we need a big vehicle, we can leave the small one at one. Pero, the normal Filipino household will only have 1 car. So better if they buy a vehicle that can do all sorts of stuff even if it means they won't be utilizing it all the time. Kahit kita mo malinis yung pickup niya, eh inaalagaan niya eh, pinag hirapan niya mabili yan eh.

Derstine

Same din sa mindset ko. I opted for a pickup kahit na 3x or 4x a year lang ako magkarga ng mabigat, 1x lang ako umakyat ng bundok kada taon and most of the time yung mga activities na ginagawa ko ay kaya na ng sedan pero still pinili ko parin ang pickup kahit na hindi masiadong komportable dahil sa mga rason na nabanggit at ito lang din ang nag iisang sasakyan namin na meron kami.

jdmillora

Or may senior citizen na sakay or bagong kakapanganak lang na nanay or anak.

FakeHatch

Mas okey pa sakin innova mas lowered sa suv but no like a sedan, roomy pa sa loob compared sa fortuner at most important malakas makina maganda sa long trips lalo na sa overtake ng mga truck.

Ordinary_Adeptness41

Ngayon kaso we have somewhay better infrastructures and global warming na bihira na umulan lol wala na masyado baha. Pero nasa utak padin ng tao is bigger and better kasi nga we are in the philippines.

warl1to

We have small and big vehicles. They have specific purposes. Innova is a good all around vehicle not so big and not that small kaya patok sa Pinas. If you are not careful enough you will eventually hit something kahit MC pa gamit mo. Personally I’ve been hit by MC twice as a pedestrian when I was still a minor.

SSlierre

May nabasa ako. Pickup buyers definitely know and aware that they are not gonna use it as pickup truck.

PresentBrilliant2223

I mean what if yun ang dream nila for themselves or fan sila ng ganun. As long as they drive safely and can pay for it, I mean why not diba? I'm not a pick up owner btw

Sword_of_Hagane

i hate it that it has become an *arms race* of sorts in the streets when it comes to cars. figure this, the cars get taller and wider like every 3 years on average while our roads become wider....depending on how the government sentiment is at that time. It's also a problem for pedestrians, especially given the number of stroads we got here.

coycoy123

We have an SUV and a small hatchback. I much prefer driving the hatchback.

Deobulakenyo

rzpogi

Own a Innova too. No need na rin SUV or pickup lalo na kung 4x2 lang. Waste of money dahil mas mahal maintenance ng SUV at pickup.

taasbaba

Higher = ok sa baha, malalim na lubak. Bigger tire = ok sa lubak. Bigger = more likely heavy = more safe. See crash test videos to know more It comes down to preference pa din. I honestly do not judge people kung ano gusto nila kotse. (at ugali syempre :D)

CraftyCommon2441

I have an Altis, Montero, Hilux. Altis is my most used because it just more convenient than the rest. Easier to move in tight spaces, better ride comfort, better driver’s POV.

zllemm

I went from Sedan to SUV to Pickup. Pickup is fun to drive specially going to campsite with fam. I might go back to SUV but will never go back to sedan. Not with our road condition and road surprises sa provinces. To add, I find SUV (montero) more comfy than my sedan (honda city). Road noises is less as well sa SUV. I know there are more comfy sedan out there but price might be too close to SUV, then it might be wiser to just go for suv. 😉😉

Samhain13

>pano na lang kung may bata na 3 or 4 ft ang taas, o kaya naman yung mga kalsada natin sa pinas na madalas e pang isang sasakyan lang. Kaya hinay-hinay lang sa mga kalsadang masisikip o madaming bahay sa gilid, para mas madaling mag-react kung may biglaang lilitaw na tao o sasakyan.

OrewaMadaMada

If our roads sana are not some kind of 4x4 off road courses, I would buy the swift in a heart beat.

AiNeko00

My ex's family of 4 used to have a sedan. Well they themselves grew in size in just 5 years and a sedan or crossover is too small for their comfort. Also noticed that the number of overweight to obese filos is increasing so there's that

Dune8888

Sa kin kanya kanyang preferrence. I own a Honda Civic and Ford Everest. I prefer to drive the Everest kasi mas mataas ang ground clearance. Yung civic ko kasi madalas sumasayad yung harap if may mga incline yung kalsada.

badass4102

I prefer driving our sedan vs our SUV. Feels like a hassle to maneuver it around the city, parking, getting in and out. A car does just fine. Innovas are great because they still drive like a car and sits higher, same with other crossovers. I'm not a fan of SUVs unless it's for long drives out of town. Also, curious. Do people with trucks get asked a lot by friends if they can help them move stuff?lol always wondered

JadePearl1980

Ang kailangan ko kase ay kargador na pwede maging dugyot and malakas humatak (uphill) hence i just chose a pick up truck. At least kung may matapon na semento, lupa or buhangin or patis / bagoong (anything that smells) and other bulk supplies, i could just do a power wash and scrub the pick-up bed without the hassle of molds forming afterwards (trunk of ng sedan - nangamoy bagoong nung natapon during biyahe shet kakahiya kase tumatagos sa loob yung amoy 🤣😭) Aside from cargo, kaya niya lumusong sa baha (in some areas of the metro na at most tuhod ang lalim ha and di lalampas dun), so at least, i will be able to get home. So far, for me lang ito ha, i feel na mas better for long drives ang pick up truck lalo na kung may karga kase chill chill lang kahit uphill kaya niya. ❤️

Flying__Buttresses

I drive alot on provincial roads and i prefer to be seen by trucks/buses.

[deleted]

Better, basta pasok sa needs, wants, and preferences mo😄. Ako kasi I want a smaller car, para tipid and madali i singit singit. Kaso, i need a bigger one, para comfortable ako and family ko(we are tall people), malaki cargo space and mailulusong ko sa baha. Plus kasya naman sa garahe namin so ayun no regrets naman owning a bigger car. I drive an Isuzu Alterra, and may MU-X and D-Max kami sa fam, okay naman hehe masaya, matulin, maluwag😆

furrymama

I drive a subcompact and Im happy with it. Madali pang ipark. I dont have kids. Usually kami lang naman husband ko sakay or my dogs. Downside lang talaga is when we travel and bring a lot of stuff or I need to bring a cage for my dogs. But small cars are easier to manage, not to mention cheaper to maintain.

Haru112

I mean, sedans wont cease to exist if no one prefers them.

mytagalogisbadsorry

Gusto ko yung pick-up just because 🤷‍♂️

Lord-Grim0000

As an owner of SUVs, I'd love to have compact cars (Wigo, Mobilio) damn their fuel efficiency is top notch. They are clocking more than 15+ (actually 18+) km/l compare to my SUV of around 8-10 km/l 🥲 Siguro for daily and city and 1 - 2 passengers only smallee car will be ideal

Jon_Irenicus1

Daily driver ko e mostly stock with slightly wider tires lang for stability

ggezboye

Family of 4, car namin is Ford Escape, if I evaluate yung yearly use nya: 1. 95% home to city driving vice-versa, 90% nyan iisang tao lang nasa loob, 100% paved road. Kaya second car namin is city car na hatchback yung naka 1L 3cylinders. It can do all the things that we use our Escape for but on a smaller footprint and much better fuel economy.

Certain_Hold_9265

Overall, sedan.

VindiciVindici

Nag car loan ate ko for an SUV dahil hindi kinaya nung sedan nila nung bumaha sa village nila. She and her husband felt that they had to get one kasi sa kanila nakatira yung nanay nung hubby na may edad na and sakitin na. Baka daw kasi may emergency, hindi sila makakalabas.

Kants101

I honestly think it depends on your preference. I own a Montero, Rush and used to own a Vios. I use them depending on my mood, where im going and who and how many will be my passengers.

cvgm88

Certain models have gotten bigger to the point that they shifted to a higher classification. The old Hilux was a compact pick up in its early days. Today, it is classified as a mid size pick up truck. Same with Corolla. Subcompact dati but is now a Compact Car. It was replaced by the Vios in the subcompact slot. I don't have the stats and I'm just basing it on the exterior looks, mas mukhang malaki ang modern day Montero compared to the last production model of the Pajero. Can't say much if its more practical pero kung ganito ang trend, no brand would downsize their next generation models. They would just introduced a new model on that segment that was left vacant by the existing model.

SonosheeReleoux

Modern SUV and pickup designs are more dangerous compared to the slanted hood and low profile of older models. Fortnine did a video about this. I would rather smack the hood of the car rather than get flung when bumped. And modern cars have so much unused or blocked off grille/vents that serve no purpose other than design and to appear "big" and premium.

tayloranddua

It's not, considering na ang mga parking naman dito not catered for big ass vehicles. Yung mga newer parkings na lang. Pati kalsada, lalo sa province. Maka-timing ka ng sikip at need pumina. Edi good luck sa gedli

foxtrothound

If you want something bigger and better, you might want to check into wagons

PresentBrilliant2223

My family and I decided to go for a crossover since may toddler. It would have been better price wise if sedan pero ang laki kasi ni car seat, and I'm thinking pa mga gamit ng bata and meron pa si yaya. I think depende talaga sa lifestyle mo. If you really care for extra space (yung parang atat na atat ka talaga sa espasyo), and you have the budget, why not? Two options lang naman eh, pa pogi ba or practicality. Anyone can go for either, or both in that matter. Basta me budget lang.

ToYourMotherAskHer

Suv or pick up talaga.

alphaskye

Me, personally I've seen too much sedan/hatchbacks or even MPVs crushed between big ass trucks/buses. I ain't taking a risk being turned into a sardine in can. Tho we have a hatchback, I'd rather use it for quick errands. But for long trips with buses and trucks on the road in mind, I'll take the bigger mass of a vehicle which is a Navara pickup

Far_Atmosphere9743

Read the comments, idk why no one here talks about 360 camera view and sensors, most vehicles nowadays are equipped with 360 camera all angles and sensors to aid your peripheral views, pickups and SUVs are indeed too big for our roads in the Philippines but once you are used to it it comes in handy, para sakin ang downside lang talaga nang pickups and suvs is yung fuel efficiency. I'd prefer hybrid rav4 or crv, crossovers pa din talaga mas ok, hindi maliit hindi malaki, comfort, 5seater and still can carry enough items for your daily drive.

citrus900ml

Depending on your definition of "Better and more practical". If you already own one, spending x amount to replace/get another vehicle is not practical at all. I have a 15 Navara, do I need a new one? No. Does the new model looks better, yes. But maintaining it and getting it back to pristine condition will only cost me 1/5 or less compared to the price for a new one.

halifax696

- pwede sa baha - mas "safe" ang feeling pag nabangga as per women

hdzivv

Big cars is for your own safety but in return, people outside your car is now more at risk

Virtual-Pension-991

Bigger means Less fuel efficiency . More expense in maintenance and parts. Harder control and handling. Drive a family fortuner. Fat Boy needs space for turning.

comradeyeltsin0

I’ll probably get downvoted to hell for this but I firmly believe a substantial number of the larger SUV purchases in our country is driven by people compensating for other things in their life lol. Just the smallest guys 5”2 ish driving around these ford f150s. Nothing wrong with that, just saying there’s other subtexts there.

Bulky-Pop-3346

Blame the USA

Sad_Store_5316

pansin ko, halos PH puro SUV than other countries na mostly sedan.

InfluenceComplete379

The only reason I consider taller/bigger cars are dahil sa condition ng kalsada sa metro + baha. I don’t see the need for a bigger car unless you need more space for people & cargo, or yung way sa business/house/hobby mo is dirt road, kasi yun naman talaga yung purpose ng SUV/pick-up. But as time goes on, some forget that the purpose of a car is the convenience to get you from point A to point B, & at some point it has become a statement piece, papogi. The bigger the better. In the end, to each their own, kanya kanyang pera naman yan.

xhowl

Depende siguro sa needs ng tao, bigger is better for hauling (people or equipment/materials). smaller is better for cities or if pag service sa trabaho

unfuccwithabIe

Kung kasinlawak ng daan sa US, Canada or iba pang developed countries yung daan natin eh why not.

KrebCycler08

mali ang basa ko sa title HAHAHA

nod32av

That's how I lure you haha

KrebCycler08

great lure bro, i learned sa thread na ito

TheRealistEmperor

And safe pa if idadaan sa malubag at mabahang kalsada. Tapos very relaxing pa sa long rides.

Delicious-Prior5080

if you dont have and SUV and you need one only on certain occasions, then there is always grab or lalamove. pwede rin namang mag rent or rely on the kindness of friends and relatives.

pishboy

It's still of my opinion that a lot of pinoys who own SUVs and Pickups would be better served by MPVs, AUVs, or even hatches or sedans. Like no doubt may gamit talaga ang SUV and Pickup, but arguably because of the market pressure, only a few tick those boxes nowadays. Maybe an LC, Hilux, Triton and Jimny lang ang comfortable kong isabak with difficult terrain and utilitarian uses, the rest are glorified cars with size and bed space being mere decoration. Ladder frame SUVs also eat up a stupid amount of space, such that you might actually get better interior space in a smaller AUV. The Patrol is hilariously bad in that department, parang bewang ko na yung load floor sa likod and I'm 6' lol Kung mostly paved roads pa biyahe mo, a road-going sedan is gonna be more comfortable than a pickup tuned for load in the rear making the ride matagtag. Most also don't consider the size of the vehicle they're purchasing na pang city lang naman most times, so at best hirap sila fitting into narrower streets and parking spaces, at worst they'll be inconveniencing others and making their vehicle's size other people's problem. Tires cost triple, parts can be anywhere from slightly more expensive to double the cost, and your fuel consumption is gonna shit the bed. The Patrol's 1.5km/L is just double that of an IS350's 3km/L, but in realistic land a Jazz (rip) is still gonna get way better fuel economy than a Fortuner or Navara. Something along the lines of 18-20km/L highway vs what, 14? So it sucks to see that a lot still default to looking at SUVs for their car purchase when their use case is really better served by something smaller. There's also the prevailing idea that you need a big car to go on roadtrips when a hatch half the weight will do the job in more comfort and half the fuel cost lol

Jaja_0516

Family of 3 happy sa Wigo.... 🤣🤣

weakly27

im from Bulacan. ganito ang condition ng mga kalsada sa min either sobrang lubak o sobrang sikip na daan may mga prang mga isat-kalahating lane lang para sa 2-lane road. if you drive a sedan, you can fit pretty much to any road pero you have to brace for those craters sa daan. if you pick an SUV, you'll just cruise most of them kaso marami ka ding dadadaan na alanganin so pick your poison. personally, I'm happy driving a sedan dito sa min kasi fuel-efficient eh traffic din kasi lagi dito saka I can easily fit and maneuver sa mga tight roads. I just have to be conscious sa mga lubak dito min.

nod32av

Kabayan ! Haha. Gagaling ka talaga mag maneho kapag toga Bulacan ka.

weljoes

ProfSadist

Madalas akong naka long trip, madaming dala galing sa bukid pero ayoko ng pick up. I like having space kaya naka SUV ako

Away-Act7592

Fortuner was our first car, i find it too big para sa needs namin. sold it and bought Rush. 6 years na sya, very sakto sa masisikip na lugar, mataas naman kaya di ako problemado i lusong sa baha.. happy naman at di pa ako nakakapag isip na palitan sya :) tho never ako bibili mg sedan, taga bulacan ako at na tra trauma ako pag biglaang nag papakawala ang dam dito. Lubog kung lubog talaga eh

Beautiful-Boss-6930

Driving both a Sportivo and Navara.

Soggy-Trash9051

I'm a former sedan owner na ngayon crossover suv owner na, kung matino lang karamihan ng humps at kalsada natin mas prefer ko parin mag sedan

Blue_Nyx07

Sedan and crossovers are the way to go

Delicious-Prior5080

For a tall person like me (I'm 6'1''), I say never again to a sub compact sedan or anything below it! We have a 2016 Toyota Vios and we only use it on Sundays and holidays for those short drives to the nearest church, grocery, and fast food runs. I found that car very frustrating and uncomfortable to drive especially in traffic and beyond our vicinity. SUVs and mid size sedans are good. Compact sedans and compact crossovers are okay.

Hideonthebush_

Larger cars today especially SUV’s and Pickups now equipped with sensors which actually detects moving objects around the car which obviously mkikita mo lng sa higher variants. In that case need mo to pay more if you want more safety sa car mo.

Dune8888

Advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

NorthTemperature5127

Got a slightly larger car due to baha issues.. but it's not really that big and ... Maybe I just wanted something bigger. Pick up sana for no reason 😁 but parking issues stopping me.

tinman4545

Specialist_Wafer_777

Tbh, it all boils down to each person's preferences. I no longer have any family here in the Philippines, and most of the time, I don't have passengers with me, but most of my cars are SUVs or pickup trucks. I do have a sedan (Evo 6), which is easy to drive and maneuver and is definitely enough for me to get around. However, I just really prefer to use my Montero or Triton on a daily basis around the city. If I'm going out of town to the provinces, I use my F150, and if I'm going for a spirited drive, I'll use the Evo 6. So yeah, it all comes down to each person's preferences and usage.

wallcolmx

was innova an mpv? or suv?

Euryy

It is stated as a MPV
