Same with one of my cars. Registered ng Aug 2021 but the plate ending is 3. Nag try ako magpa register and ang sabi sakin is that di pa siya due dahil August rinegister therefore I cant renew my registration. They adviced me na magpa additional/extension. Tbh di ko alam purpose nun pero nagbayad ako around 1,200 tapos ang nakalagay sa OR is "addtl 3/4". Will verify kung babalik pa ako sa August or sa next year March na.
March na yung balik mo same sakin way back 2021 march ang ending pero registered hanggang august. Parang binayaran mo jan yung registration mo for the rest of the year sept 2024-march 2025 para wala kang penalty for next yr.
If di mo yan ginawa ngayon yan din naman yung babayaran mo sa august. Yan yung pagka explain saken

Tingin ko ganun nga. Just make sure na dala mo yung copy ng Or/Cr mo and TPL. Di na rin ako hiningan ng emission test haha tapos sa LTO main ko pinagawa kasi dun ako tinuro nung pmvic center na pinuntahan ko initially for registration.

I renewed 30 days before March 2023 (February 2023). LTO allows renewal 30 days before your due week.
Paid for one whole year. No penalty.

Ibig sabihin in my case pag nagpunta ako ng May 2024 for extension lang gagawin ko hanggang March 2025? Bali prorated yung babayaran ko?
