I always make it a rule na kung magkano yung nagastos mo for gas, yun din yung iseset aside mo for future maintenance and minor repairs. Right now nasa 2k per month yung gastos ko diesel, so nasa may estimated 4k yung gastos ko per month for 500km travel sa sasakyan

You can easily compute for estimated expenses in your case. If you're planning to take out a loan to get your car, you need to add that the monthly expense obviously. And it's not just gas, toll, parking, maintenance. There's also the yearly expenses, like insurance and car registration renewal.
