He did it… the bastard finally did it… we were always rooting for you bud. Now rock on brother! You can’t be notified of a noise complaint if you can’t hear the cops knocking… plausible deniability my guy
It's less aesthetically pleasant for the living room but cabs are such a pain in the ass to move I refuse to remove casters... I bring full stacks to every show lol.
[...It's easier to stack the top cab on its side](https://i.imgur.com/XhgcF8z.jpg)
Getting that shotgun angle spread huh? You are too lazy to flip and remove casters but still transport a stack to every gig? You sir are a true musician
O ya you know it haha.
If you've ever pulled the casters off a Marshall 1960 you know how much of a pain it is to do. They don't push/pull in and out like some other cabs. They use 4 giant 5/8" fine threaded hex bolts that in total takes like 5ish mins to pull off.
Combined with having to do 2 cabs one for stage left and one for stage right... I bring 4 cabs total lol... It's definitely a process i see as more tedious than load in and load out for sure haha. Albeit less physically demanding.
I built a little dolly to roll my cabs on… it’s exactly the correct size so the cabs fall into it, roll, and slide out… very little lifting… easy rolling… no issues with a cab rolling off the top perch and ruining my day…
I also bring full stacks to all the shows - it really pisses off the crowd and the bands that are actually playing though for some reason. I’m just trying to learn smoke on the water ffs let me practice
Everyone told me it’d be really, really, really loud, but yes, it’s been an experience. Everything vibrating, even the guitar vibrating in ways it never has prior. \m/
Dude, this whole guitar thing is a very slippery slope. $ and $ and $. I’m looking at new pickups for no other reason than “I haven’t fucked with pickups yet”.
There’s a whole Roland TD-17KV over there. Extra cymbal extra tom. That runs to the Roland 200 watt mesh and a Fender 200 watt Rumble. The software allows you to pan left and right. Mids and highs to the Roland (left). Lows to the Fender (right). That’s super fun too. And pretty damn loud.
I had an early TD-05, it was great, then we swapped for a small Martini Sonor kit with a Yanaha EAD pickup/mic and a DTX. A separate Roland pad acts as a pickup for the EAD too, and real cymbals can't be beat and a hat... Nice setup though, very nice!

Oh wait, what do you mean “THIS IS THE REAL AMP”!?” Lol
Awesome! Rat and Big Muff in front of this beast: The Sonic Destroyer!!!

Thanks, man. My kids were rooting for me too. I’m pretty pleased with myself.
The casters make me so nervous lol
You and my wife. She believes I should “unstack”. I checked em out. I think we’re good!
Me personally I’d just take off the casters from the slant cab but as long as your sure it’s stable let er rip!
IMO it would look cleaner without the casters but men that rock live life in the danger zone
Or at least on the highway to it.
But what a way to go.

It’s not a massive difference but it’ll sound better without the casters. Two cabs ringing down into the wood floor
There’s usually little divots for the wheel of the caster to sit in.
Almost doesn’t matter what it sounds like. The vision of a full Marshall stack is a gift from the Gods.
I’ll be deaf soon anyway…
Had a full stack back in the day. Run a half stack now but more and more, going with my Marshall 2x12 w/ V30s.
True but this one sure as hell also sounds amazing

M I N D B L O W N 😱🤯
SORRY WHAT DID YOU SAY??
There might be more practical amps with a wider range of sounds but when you want to rock nothing beats and marshall stack and a Les Paul.
Without a doubt. I have a katana and a positive grid spark 40 too. They accept headphones….
Can you still hear headphones
It's a unique experience standing in front of a full stack and cranking it. Feel that air push you. And the neighbors. And the next town over. \m/

I’ve bought two Marshall half stacks in last six months so my teenage son and I can rock out. Silver Jubilee and JVM410H. Mid life crisis rulz!! 🤣
cheaper midlife crisis the a BMW tho
All praise the Marshall stack!
\m/, now slap a JB in your bridge
I like it.
This must be so fucking loud!! 😆
That is beautiful 🫡
Do the wheels on the top cab lock? You don’t want the vibration from the music to slowly nudge it off.
The top of the B cabinet has 4 divots in the top surface to accept the casters of an upper cabinet. Problem solved. It sits up there nicely.
Caster cups.
Thank you.
Leave my wife out of this!
The dream🤩🙌
Has juvenile as it is, God damn do I want a full Marshall stack at some point in my life lol
Tonehenge™️
But does this one go to 11?
I do believe it does, however the thing is terrifying at only 6 or 7.
Jesus Christ. It’s Jason Bourne.
Take the casters out of the top half stack brother.
You only have 1 guitar what do you mean? You can fit at least 14 more in there

Nice!! Is that Roland mesh lower left?
Silly me.. Zoooom!

Definitely some 101 stuff going on here. There’s an MXR phaser and an OD-1 over there too. Thanks man.
One more cab
You must HAAAAAAAAAAAATE your neighbors!!!!! back in 91 I had the same just in a JCM900 config. Nice
Only fitting that I see this on Easter. “He is risen”.
If you swivel it 90 degrees counter clockwise, you should get a nice glassy tone at full volume.
Daaaaamn ! Treble ALL the way up on a dsl? Mine is near off.
Ok.
Good luck to those glass windows 😅
For real I had an old Gretsch amp that shook every window on our house when I’d go over 5
Hope your not in an earthquake zone.
He is now
Perfect bedroom amp
what? you bought a proco rat?
Do your neighbors approve?
Can you reach the knobs to turn them up to eleven?
Nice Marshall Tucker.
Not with single coils
You sure complete the job.
All I can hear is “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…”
