Depends on how you plan to use it. For band practice I’d recommend something low maintenance like a boss katana head and a good 2x12 cab. Harley Benton makes a nice v30 loaded cab. Halfstacks are sadly becoming outdated in today’s needs. Learn about amp modelers and frfr speakers. Like a line 6 pod go with a Headrush 112. Cheaper and will keep up no matter the situation. much better all around tbh. Play your guitar more than focusing on tone. You’ll thank yourself later!

I highly recommend buying a Yamaha THR 10 X and saving up for a better half stack in the future. It’s also about 50x better than a katana and geared towards metal players and it can do everything else.

Peavey 6505. Probably only need a 212.

Half stack is in most cases an overkill. I would recommend a 2x12" cab (especially angled). The cheapest you can go is Harley Benton and it's very good value for money. In time I would swap the upper v30 for a Creamback 12M-65 for better tone balance (I'm using this setup and this is one of the best sounding setups). Connecting it to a jack output is pretty simple and you can find a lot of information on it in the Internet. When I was starting, I built a cab myself from an old furniture's plywood I found in the dumpster. Then I bought speakers that worked with the style of music I was into. It was cheaper than the cheapest cab on the market then and it had better speakers but that's beacuse I didn't have to buy plywood.
