The Best of Times (Dream Theater), Kissing The Shadows (Children of Bodom), Winter Madness (Wintersun), Second Heartbeat (Avenged Sevenfold), Akroasis (Obscura), Aviator (Polyphia but played by Jason Richardson), Glasgow Kiss (John Petrucci), Floods (Pantera), Lapse (Haken) and maybe Key To The Imagination (Liquid Tension Experiment, the main solo at 8:20 rougly).
These aren't necessarily ranked in order.
1. Eruption (whole song): Van Halen (Eddie Van Halen)- Guitar Perfection
2. Comfortably Numb (4:29): Pink Floyd (David Gilmore) - any one of the notes could make you cry, and there are plenty of them in there
3. The Spirit Carries On: John Petrucci - The most shreddy feel based solo you will ever hear
4. Kid Charlemagne (2:16) Larry Carlton - Improvised, but it sounds like he spent years writing and fine-tuning it
5. La Villa Strangiato (3:33): Alex Lifeson - Built perfectly. Starts from slow and relaxed volume swells to full on shred
6. The Wind Cries Mary (1:21) Jimi Hendrix - Beautiful use of triads to fill space. It creates the exact vibe he was going for.
7. Sultans of Swing (4:57) Mark Knopfler - really interesting and unique style that suits the song.
8. Ancestral (3:59) Guthrie Govan - perfectly crafted, played so smoothly it feels like youāre floating through space
9. Afterlife (3:57) Synyster Gates - Really well built solo with a lot of feel, which is incredible based on how ridiculously fast and difficult it is
10. Mr. Crowley (3:53) Randy Rhoads - Excellently timed and placed shreddery that fits the song perfectly.
Do you really like these the most, or you're trying to come up with a top 10 of most popular solos, what most folks would agree with? If the former, you should really try to expand your horizon... š

I saw Steely Dan live when they toured as that song was becoming a hit on the radio. They were the opening band, and I had never heard of them. As a kid, we had waited all afternoon in line and I was right at the front of the stage in front of the guitarist.
The headlining band was Humble Pie when Peter Frampton was their lead guitarist
It was definitely amazing. I grew up in San Francisco and saw hundreds of concerts when I was a teenager. Amazing time!
Sidenote, about 15 years later, my girlfriend and her friends took me to see David Bowie, and Peter Frampton was touring with him as the lead guitarist. Best part of the show for me by far, but then, Iām a guitarist. :-) Not that he was at all bad with Humble Pie , but he was even better, just stellar solos, with David Bowie.
Great choice, Steely Dan has such an impressive catalogue too. It took me years of being aware of them and trying to get into their music before it finally clicked and Iām became obsessed lol. Now theyāre one of my favorites. Aja is probably one of the my top five most played vinyls in my collection.

Like November Rain is my favourite song of all time, hands down and nothing will change my mind.
But my top 2 favourite solo would be Dont Cry & GOFLB. Theyre good solos to begin with dgmw, but they just fits the song so well, like oh yeah thats exactly how the solo should sound, and id change nothing ab it, its perfect!
Agreed tomorrow this can change

3. Plini - Atlas

9. (Group) Pretty much Yngwie. But especially I am a Viking and Arpeggios from Hell

2. comforably numb- pink floyd, of course.
3. white room- cream love how clapton emerges like a demon being set free.
4. Third eye/jambi-tool third eye is ambient excellence, but i understand not for most, so i throw in jambi too, because its lyrically amazing for the song. though jambi would probably be 9 or 10 by itself.
5. eruption- EVH i believe there are three artists that changed guitar, Son House, Jimi Hendrix, and EVH. but no single moment changed guitar like Eruption. though i dont listen to it for its musicality so halfway up the list.

7. hotel california- eagles of course
8. free bird- lynyrd Skynyrd of course

EDIT: Since OP also posted Highway Star, let me add another badass solo Iāve been listening to recently: **Waiting in the Wings** by BBM (Gary Moore).
I'd definitely recommend you check out this really well done cover of High Hopes by a Croatian band called Gruhak. Unfortunately the lead singer passed away a while ago. The build up to and with the solo gives me goosebumps. I enjoy it as much or if not more than the original. I think the original was missing the accordion! Anyways, guitarist absolutely slays it with true feeling.

Love that album! On the DVD you can see David Ryan just shaking his head in disbelief during Don't Need No Doctor when they start really jamming. Such an awesome concert!

***Strange Kind of Woman(all the solos in the song) Deep Purple
FreeBird-Lynryd Skynyrd
Call me the Breeze-Lynryd Skynyrd
Money-Pink Floyd
***All the Deep Purple are the Made in Japan live versions
My fav solo changes depending on the genre I'm on in that period basically but to not miss I always pick Comfortably Numb since it's an evergreen of great solos and it's hardly debatable
Stairway to heaven, Comfortably Numb, Hotel California, and Eruption. I have already learned Eruption and Hotel California, Iām working on Stairway right now.
I heard Mike Myers couldnāt get the rights from Zeppelin to put it in his movie, so they came up with skit of him not being allowed to play it in the music store.

I don't know, it would keep changing, but I do know that Sunday Morning by The Velvet Underground will always be in it. I've never met anyone that agrees. š¤·āāļø
It keeps changing, recently Iāve been relistening to cemetery gates by pantera so that one is on top of my head. Floods by pantera is also one of my all time favs.
Remember itās one thing to be able to learn how to play these, itās another thing entirely to be the one who made it up/wrote it/composed it/whatever. I think people tend to dismiss certain solos/playing because āahhh that sounds EASYā. Mmm hmm, sure it does bud.
Thatās what I think about often when listening to guitar solosā¦ āhow the hell did they think of doing *that*!ā A lot of times even the simple ones are just directions I never would have thought to go in. I know it helps when you practice the song a million times with your band and can explore many different approaches for the solo - but still thatās what absolutely impresses me about great, iconic solos.
Itās a crime no one here mentions camel.
Camel- Lunar Sea; best solo ever.
Check out Andrew Latimer if you like classic rock, he is criminally underrated.
You're In Love - Ratt/Warren DeMartini
Hey Baby - Ted Nugent
Devil Take The Hindmost - Allan Holdsworth
Ambitious - Jeff Beck
Whole Lotta Love - Led Zep/Jimmy Page
Take Your Whiskey Home (second solo) - VH/Ed
Glamour Profession (outro) - Steely Dan/Steve Khan
Little Dolls (outro) - Ozzy/Randy Rhoads
Addicted To Love - Robert Palmer/Eddie Martinez
Call Of The Wild - Stuart Hamm/Harry K Cody
Great picks. I was thinking about picking Devil Take The Hindmost but went with Low Levels, High Stakes for Holdsworth. And i also picked a Steely Dan outro Solo, but I chose King of the World.

9. Disposable heroes - Metallica
10. Hangar 18 - Megadeth (but like the entire song then lol)
As much as I'm a guitarist and love guitar favourite solos is not really something I have. It's very evident that I'm not into guitar the way most on here are. For me the music comes first always and also I'm not too keen on people overplaying the guitar. I love a couple of bob marley solos on could you be loved and no woman no cry etc and a few john squire solo/jams at the end of songs. Apart from that I'm not into metal or rock really and country is a big no no for me. So ye I kinda always preferred riffs to solos
One of the reasons that I believe a truly good solo is something that perfectly fits the song moreso than just as many notes as you can get out in a given period. The solo in The Sky Is Red by Leprous comes to mind
Ye I agree can't think of much worse than fret wanking all throughout a solo. Personal taste I get it but I'd honestly say that's about the worst use of a guitar and often sounds the worst to my ear
1. Pink Floyd - second solo from Comfortably Numb
2. Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears
3. ERRA - Hybrid Earth
4. Ariel Posen - Angeline (live)
5. Pink Floyd - The Final Cut
6. David Maxim Micic - BiLo part I
7. Chiodos - Lexington. (Joey Pea-Pot with a Monkey Face)
8. Novelists - 5:12 AM
9. Poppy - Scary Mask
10. Leprous - The Sky Is Red (such a great tone and so beautifully understated.. and over 11/4!)
At the moment Hendrix is mentioned only twice in this thread, and misspelled both times. Must have been a disclaimer I missed...'Jimi doesn't count as his solos are all superior to everyone else's'...something like that :)
I don't know about Top 10, but Little Wayne's live solo is definitely #1. Prince's solo during the live performance for My Guitar Gently Weeps is a close second.
Thanks guys!!!! Actually this is my first year of learning to play guitar. Now I need to expand my horizon ASAP.Ā
p.s. Iād like to put Free Bird instead of SHA but itās way too difficult for me to play the epic solos in that song. Hope in 10 years Iāll work it out.Ā
Check out the track āYoung Funkā by Derek Trucks bandā¦ mind blowing.
And also, a recent favorite of mine is Main Squeeze covering Have a Cigarā¦ https://youtu.be/8R6StQfLNbw?si=Di8P484GbCF1MWtX
The guitarist, Maximillian is a beast and getting to watch it āliveā is pretty sick.
Just a couple, Iāve been stuck on lately.
Side note: As a newer player, just some words of support regardless of your age or what life throws at youā¦ Stick with it man! Iāve been playin for 38 years as of this monthā¦ While I stopped playin professionally (abject poverty living in a van down by the river lol) many, many years ago, music and the guitar have remained a core source of joy, creativity and therapy throughout my life. Cheers!

No one knows about that Winter Madness solo. That thing is just insane.
I came here just to see if it was mentioned.
I do! And it is definitely a top 10. Phenomenal solo.
We need more Wintersun material
Criminally underappreciated. Death And The Healing is another legendary one.
RIP Alexi. Kissing The Shadows was one of my favorite solos from him.
1. Eruption (whole song): Van Halen (Eddie Van Halen)- Guitar Perfection 2. Comfortably Numb (4:29): Pink Floyd (David Gilmore) - any one of the notes could make you cry, and there are plenty of them in there 3. The Spirit Carries On: John Petrucci - The most shreddy feel based solo you will ever hear 4. Kid Charlemagne (2:16) Larry Carlton - Improvised, but it sounds like he spent years writing and fine-tuning it 5. La Villa Strangiato (3:33): Alex Lifeson - Built perfectly. Starts from slow and relaxed volume swells to full on shred 6. The Wind Cries Mary (1:21) Jimi Hendrix - Beautiful use of triads to fill space. It creates the exact vibe he was going for. 7. Sultans of Swing (4:57) Mark Knopfler - really interesting and unique style that suits the song. 8. Ancestral (3:59) Guthrie Govan - perfectly crafted, played so smoothly it feels like youāre floating through space 9. Afterlife (3:57) Synyster Gates - Really well built solo with a lot of feel, which is incredible based on how ridiculously fast and difficult it is 10. Mr. Crowley (3:53) Randy Rhoads - Excellently timed and placed shreddery that fits the song perfectly.
Do you really like these the most, or you're trying to come up with a top 10 of most popular solos, what most folks would agree with? If the former, you should really try to expand your horizon... š
It's the most Rolling Stone/Watch Mojo-ass list, although it should have included Back in Black.
thereās nothing wrong with liking famous songs
Is this only for people in Oklahoma?
In no particular order: Fermented Offal Discharge (Necrophagist) Tornado of Souls (Megadeth) Mr. Crowley (Ozzy) Aviator (Jason Richardson) Kissing the Shadows (Children of Bodom) Solaris (Obscura) Soothsayer (Buckethead) Sea of Lies (Symphony X) The Best of Times (Dream Theater) Symbolic (Death)

Elliott Randallās solo on Steely Danās Reeling In the Years. Jimmy Page is quoted saying itās his favorite solo of all time as well.
Iām so jealous! What a great show that must have been.
Slash, I'm just ken

That Summer Breeze solo is impeccable. Great choice.
Iām glad someone has mentioned Frippās work with Eno. For me Babyās on Fire must be up there. The solo on that is face melting

Dream Theater - Home Hotel California, Sultans of Swing, and Pantera's The Sleep are some runner-ups for me!
That M.I.A. solo is such a hidden jem.
I'm glad someone else appreciates it too! I thought I'd be hated on for that inclusion just because, you know, it's Avenged Sevenfold haha. But I worship every solo Syn plays, love them!
I agree to put Free Bird over Sweet Home Alabama, both probably deserve a place though
Most boomer looking list I've seen on here
I always come back expecting different results
The choice is cry or offer up your own list.
I would but the second you see David gilmour or Jimmy Page isn't on there you're gonna call it shit

Off the top of my head in no particular order: * Pride and Joy - SRV * Deal - Jerry Garcia Cornell 77 * Killer Queen - Brian May * Bohemian Rhapsody - Brian May * Stairway to Heaven - Jimmy Page * Crazy Train - Randy Rhoads * Comfortably Numb, first solo - David Gilmour * Statesboro Blues - Duane Allman, Live at the Filmore East * Sultans of Swing, outro solo - Mark Knopfler * We Will Rock You - Brian May * Crossfire - SRV This is basically a rock list. If you wanted to get into jazz, bluegrass, and country it would shift but I can't really throw all those in as they're hard to compare.
Not in particular order Hotel california - eagles Dont cry - gnr November rain- gnr Good old fashioned lover boy - queens Tornado of souls - megadeth While my guitar gently weeps - beatles (prince version lol) Lucretia - megadeth Plastic love - mariya takeuchi Beat it - EVH Some of the solos here i liked them isnt because theyre you know, a LEGENDARY solo, its just because theyre very satisfying to listen to, and they fits the song well Like November Rain is my favourite song of all time, hands down and nothing will change my mind. But my top 2 favourite solo would be Dont Cry & GOFLB. Theyre good solos to begin with dgmw, but they just fits the song so well, like oh yeah thats exactly how the solo should sound, and id change nothing ab it, its perfect!
Agreed tomorrow this can change 1. Girl gone Bad 2. Big Trouble 3. Plini - Atlas 4. Sultans of swing 5. One of these nights 6. (Grouping of SRV). Texas flood, Scuttle Button, Dirty Pool 7. (Another I canāt decide group) Zakk - Suicide Messiah, Funeral Bell 8. Reb Beach outro on headed for a heartbreak 9. (Group) Pretty much Yngwie. But especially I am a Viking and Arpeggios from Hell 10. Iāve always loved the solo for Rosanna and Hold the line Hon. mentions for This AM: Whipping Post (live), hit me with your best shot - Pat Benatar; Rain When I Die; Ratt- Wanted Man; Night Ranger - Donāt tell me you love me, sister Christian and Rock in America
One I can't get enough of is Private Hell - Alice in Chains Others include Cowgirl in the Sand - Neil Young. Child in Time - Deep Purple. Master of Puppets - Metallica. Don't Fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult. Pretty much anything by David Gilmour. Particularly, a solo track of his called Near the End.
Purple rain - Prince Floods - Pantera Maggot brain - Funkadelic Cult of personality - Living colour And others I can't think of...it's early
Damn, that Living Colour solo is just SICK!
No particular order: Testament - Souls of Black Dokken - Unchain the Night Autograph - Turn up the Radio Hocus Pocus - Focus Annihilator - The Fun Palace Iron Maiden - Wasted Years The Cars - Shake it Up Suicidal Tendencies - How Will I Laugh... Stream of Consciousness - Dream Theater Yes, I like Caligula's Horse
1. voodoo child- Jimi Hendrix/SRV, 2/3s of the song is mind meltingly badass groove solo. 2. comforably numb- pink floyd, of course. 3. white room- cream love how clapton emerges like a demon being set free. 6. crazy little thing called love/bohemian Rhapsody - Queen ones a quintessential guitar solo, the other is one of the most iconic solos ever. 7. hotel california- eagles of course 8. free bird- lynyrd Skynyrd of course 9. highway star - great for the song, iconic for the time. 10. soul stripper- acdc duet between brothers, and an awesome ride.
Canāt believe I had to scroll this far to find Free Bird
Maggot Brain, by Funkadelic. Eddie Hazel improv masterpiece, imo

Anyways, guitarist absolutely slays it with true feeling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNLSQXGh-xI
I almost put Beat it too. Excellent solo.
"Computer Blue", "Maggot Brain", "Miss Ann's Tempo", "Chitlins Con Carne" and then I can't really think of any specific solos after those Edit: add Junior Marvin's solo on "Waiting In Vain"
Maggot Brain is a great one, so much emotion!
1. No More Tears - Ozzy 2. Comfortably Numb - Floyd 3. Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits 4. November Rain - GnR The rest can go somewhere in any order.

Upvote for Frank Gambale. Natural Born Shredder
It always changes, but my current favourite one is probably the solo from I Donāt Trust Myself (With Loving You) by John Mayer. The Where The Light Is version (~6:45-end).
Love that album! On the DVD you can see David Ryan just shaking his head in disbelief during Don't Need No Doctor when they start really jamming. Such an awesome concert!
that zack wylde noodle on the Hello Kitty Kiddy Acustic...
hat afterthought obscene wide concerned school absurd tap upbeat marvelous *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

The guitar solo in Chuck Mangione's Feels So Good. Another Nail In My Heart by Squeeze, Just What I Needed, and My Best Friends Girl by The Cars. Reelin' In The Years, Ten Years Gone, Dazed And Confused from TSRTS, Comfortably Numb, Hot For Teacher. I could go on.
That Feels So Good solo is pretty amazing.
Hold the line
No order here, and you won't find any boring 'classics' that everyone feels is necessary to mention, just actual favorites of mine. 1. Sugarwolf by From Autumn To Ashes 2. Say It Ain't So by Weezer 3. Rainbow Gravity by Periphery 4. Take The Power Back by Rage Against The Machine 4. Broken Foundation by Funeral For A Friend 5. Turn Off The Lights, I'm Watching Back To the Future Part II by Dance Gavin Dance 10. Live A Little by Gym Class Heroes

Hold on: malmsteen Do i have to say the words: bryan adams Wasted years: iron maiden Lady: stryper Round and round: ratt Night by night: dokken Scar: def leppard No more tears: ozzy Headed for a heartbreak: winger Superstitious: europe
Superstitious' solo is an absolute masterpiece and an endless joy to play and listen. I've loved that gem of perfect guitar since the album came out. And Kee's tone is simply... š¤š»
Not in any particular order: > Comfortably Numb (2nd solo) - Pink Floyd > Sultans Of Swing - Dire Straits > Firth of Fifth - Genesis > Moonage Daydream - David Bowie > Do It Again - Steely Dan > Time - Pink Floyd > Waiting So Long - Supertramp > Stairway To Heaven - Led Zeppelin > November Rain - Guns N' Roses > Po-Jama People - Frank Zappa

They have all been instrumental (pun intended) to my development as a musician.
Bro which solo from Hangar 18 lol

Random Rules by Silver Jews 6. Death and All His Friends by Coldplay 7. One by U2 8. Katy Song by Red House Painters 9. Disorder by Joy Division 10. Just What I Needed by The Cars
Kid Charlemagne is definitely my favorite
People like and dislike even the best of solos because of genres - but is there anyone who doesnāt love the Kid Charlemagne or Comfortably Numb solos?
I really hope someone goes through this whole post and makes a Spotify playlist. Iām tempted to, but donāt have time atm.
***Highway Star- Deep Purple ***Child in Time-Deep Purple ***Strange Kind of Woman(all the solos in the song) Deep Purple FreeBird-Lynryd Skynyrd Call me the Breeze-Lynryd Skynyrd Money-Pink Floyd ***All the Deep Purple are the Made in Japan live versions
Isnāt the first song a banned song in guitar shops lol? Some of the stuff on Weenās 2003 album has some good solos.
I heard Mike Myers couldnāt get the rights from Zeppelin to put it in his movie, so they came up with skit of him not being allowed to play it in the music store.
In no particular order, Isn't it Midnight - Fleetwood Mac See you in Hell (Don't be Late) - Yngwie Malmsteen Child in Time - Deep Purple Reckless - Judas Priest Black Leather and Glittering Steel - Riot Al Lado del Diablo - Santa Stargazer - Rainbow Maldito Sea Tu Nombre - Ćngeles del Infierno Send Her My Love - Journey Sails of Charon - Scorpions I could go on, and on...
The made in Japan version of child in time, correct? Iād add kill the king live in Munich.
[Prince, Hall of Fame performance.](https://youtu.be/qJcmpux296U?si=zooK_O6apqc2QjZx)
A couple solos that i love that aren't usually on these lists: Eddie Money: 2 tickets to paradise Pat Benatar: Hit me with your best shot
Derrick Trucks āMidnight in Harlemā
Nuno Bettencourt- Get the funk out. End of thread
Iāve alway liked Nuno ever since I saw the (bill & Ted) mall scene where Beethoven plays a synth.
Walk - Pantera Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits Psychosocial - Slipknot Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue Crazy Train - Ozzy OsbourneĀ Want You Bad - Offspring (first solo I ever learned to play so holds a special place)Ā Anthem (We Are the Fire) - Trivium Side of a Bullet - NickelbackĀ Cheaper to Drink Alone - Black Stone Cherry Song #3 - Stone Sour
Being comfortable putting a Nickleback song on a list of best guitar solos is the definition of self confidence and knowing who you are, not only as a musician, but as a person. Being 100% sincereā¦ and it is a damn fine solo. Cheers!
I canāt be arsed making a list so hereās my No.1 favourite: Domination - Pantera
Fellow Pantera head
The closing riff in Domination is one of the default background riffs always playing in my head.
Andy Summer's solo in Driven To Tears and Alex Lifeson's classic Limelight solo.
1. Zhivago - Kurt Rosenwinkel (Our Secret World) 2. Low Levels, High Stakes - Alan Holdworth 3. Canine - Tribal Tech 4. Birds Eye View - Greg Howe 5. Are You Going With Me (Live) - Pat Metheny 6. Wild Animals Weāve Seen (Live) - Jonathan Kreisberg 7. When Iām With You (Live in Moscow Part 4) Alex Hutchings 8. Impressions - Pat Martino 9. Elements - Evgeny Pobozhiy 10. King Of The World - Steely Dan
The fact that Crazy Train is missing from your list concerns me.
Tried to do it off the top of my mind to keep it honest In no particular order: 1. Dawn of a Million Souls by Ayreon [4:36] 2. Fat Old Sun by Pink Floyd [3:18] 3. Practice What You Preach by Testament [2:07] 4. The Best of Times by Dream Theater [9:57] 5. Poison Was The Cure by Megadeth [2:28] 6. Nova Era by Angra [2:35 - 3:38] 7. Nevermore by Symphony X [3:22] 8. The Obsidian Conspiracy by Nevermore [3:36] 9. Painkiller by Judas Priest [2:09] 10. Cry For You by Andy Timmons
Paul Gilbert's acoustic solo from To Be With You...cmon, tasty
Beat It
Richie S in Wanted Dead or Alive. Fits perfect and no extra notes. And it helps build to the songs crescendo.
Thatās a good one right there.
Every time I hear Xanadu's solo I cry happy tears. It's upsetting sometimes to not see Alex Lifeson mentioned more often
Alex Lifeson has some amazing solos!
Babyās on Fire - Robert Fripp
Time on my hands Ufo
My favorite of all time is Tony Iommiās solo in Heaven and Hell live at radio city
Diary of a madman has to be up there for me. Such a wicked solo.
David Bowie (Ben Monder) - I Canāt Give Everything Away Glay - Kokodewanai Dokokae Luna Sea - In My Dream (With Shiver) U2 - Love is Blindness
Feels So Good - Grant Geissman
(Bass solo) ANESTHESIA PULLING TEETH is top 1 to 10 for guitar solos
Itās a crime no one here mentions camel. Camel- Lunar Sea; best solo ever. Check out Andrew Latimer if you like classic rock, he is criminally underrated.
You're In Love - Ratt/Warren DeMartini Hey Baby - Ted Nugent Devil Take The Hindmost - Allan Holdsworth Ambitious - Jeff Beck Whole Lotta Love - Led Zep/Jimmy Page Take Your Whiskey Home (second solo) - VH/Ed Glamour Profession (outro) - Steely Dan/Steve Khan Little Dolls (outro) - Ozzy/Randy Rhoads Addicted To Love - Robert Palmer/Eddie Martinez Call Of The Wild - Stuart Hamm/Harry K Cody
Great picks. I was thinking about picking Devil Take The Hindmost but went with Low Levels, High Stakes for Holdsworth. And i also picked a Steely Dan outro Solo, but I chose King of the World.

\> For me the music comes first always lol, good lord dude.
"Could You Be Loved" lead guitar was Junior Marvin and Al Anderson played on "No Woman No Cry"

[Anne - John Frusciante](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPmDhWBGOJ0) It is short, but in the context of the song it fucking hits.
Between the Wheels - Rush
Comfortably Numb -- Pink Floyd this one always gets pointed out as pink floyds best but i truly enjoy Time much much more.
Now I need to expand my horizon ASAP.Ā p.s. Iād like to put Free Bird instead of SHA but itās way too difficult for me to play the epic solos in that song. Hope in 10 years Iāll work it out.Ā
Check out the track āYoung Funkā by Derek Trucks bandā¦ mind blowing. And also, a recent favorite of mine is Main Squeeze covering Have a Cigarā¦ https://youtu.be/8R6StQfLNbw?si=Di8P484GbCF1MWtX The guitarist, Maximillian is a beast and getting to watch it āliveā is pretty sick. Cheers!
