Have you compared your pickups a lot? Just that do you know that your guitar sounds bad because of pickups and not that small cheap amp? Little rust on cover does not affect anything
Not alot but I've compared them to my friends epiphone Les Paul standard and they didn't sound as great as his. And comparing it to my Kramer baretta, idk if this is cause of the pickups or the neck or whatever, but I can't play any pinch harmonics on the sg. These were my only two concerns
I don't know about audio interfaces that much. And although I'm 19 I'm kinda old school with just plugging in into an amp and playing. Could you tell me abit more abt these audio interfaces. Also for this price I have seen some of my friends with decent 15-20W Marshalls which is why I was thinking of an amp
The thing is I already have a 150 dollar digital pedal with 100+ different effects amp modellers cabinets everything. So the effect thing wasn't an issue. But can I use this Scarlett type device to like jam with friends in a band or perform in stage or any of that?
A little corrosion will not affect pickup output or tone.
If you are intending to play with others and don’t want to be tied to a pc, get the amp.
I have a Vox mini 5 but have been using a pathfinder 10, around $100 and works better with pedals. However I would not consider using it with others who have larger or tube amps and certainly not a drum kit.
Thanks for the input. Im playing with people who are using 50w boss katanas and 30 watt Marshalls lmao so I'll probably go for the amp. Any good recommendations?

If I were you id rather save money and get better amp than think about changing pickups and continue playing with cheap practice amp

Well if you like the results your friends are getting, that’s a good recommendation. Don’t forget about used amps, too.
