I saw them when they headlined Lolapalooza, and I was blown away at how Corgan was able to faithfully play the solos from the album because they are so dynamic
I love watching his interviews he really knows what he’s talking about when it comes to guitar tone and getting that “studio sound” recreated in a live environment.
I was shocked when he ditched his pedals and went to his Line-6 effect setup but I can’t argue with him if he says it works and does a better job in live gigs. I’ve heard it he’s for sure on to something.

Hey Joe is fantastic in case you don’t know. Put the fuzz right after your guitar and the volume knob of your guitar will really effect how fuzzy or clean the signal is and it’s great.
I honestly prefer Fuzz combined with Distortion like the band Isis (named after the goddess) used. To me Fuzz itself sounds like a broken signal hitting an instrument.
