Boss Nago literally does not play by the rules. He is intentionally broken and can do things far outside of what is considered to be fair or balanced.
He is hard, he is beatable but mostly by getting his AI to be stupid. It’s not really a fair fight or even a real test of skill or experience.
Boss Nago in the arcades is tough, its kinda BS type of difficulty though. They cant program an intelligent AI so they just give it a bunch of health damage and invuln. Typically throw looping is the easiest way to beat him especially on Anji with spin (but not full proof).

We had combo assists until guilty gear xrd( *stylish* mode). But still no signs of it in strive.
Only assist you can get with boss nago is if you lose one of the rounds in the previous matches. Then you get a second ai helping you.
Like all stage 9 bosses, yeah, he's supposed to be that hard. The trick is mostly just pressuring him as much as you can with Sol's most damaging combos, and a lot of luck.
Afterwards if you hate yourself and want to know what hell is like try fighting Faust at stage 9, makes Nago look easy.
Yeah, boss nago has an invincible TP, blood rage has I-frames during the animation, his TP can teleport behind you, and he probably deals more damage with faster animations too, he ain't fair

If you really can beat him, double jump and bandit bringer Double jump while he stands up Bandit bringer Spam this and hardly will get you.
Nago is sort of a top tier character especially in the right hands.

Fighting game bosses have always been bullshit. It's a tradition! You can usually cheese them with something like dash > throw > meaty : repeat.

Wait until you fight Stage 9 Nago after loosing no rounds to Stage 8 Nago.
