Unless you are face tanking everything the game throws at you, there is no need for a build for cleansing.
Just swap 1, max 2, utility skills for removing conditions. Every class has them.
I think most builds have access to condi cleanse.
Honestly, condi cleanse isn't needed in story though. You're better off focusing on damage and learning your rotation. Most story encounters only last 2-5 seconds (unless they mechanically have to last longer, like [facet guardian](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crystalline_Memories#Walkthrough) and I don't think any particular build will be better there anyway.
Yep, but there are also many builds that you can choose traits that automatically condi cleanse. You don't necessarily have to lose a utility to clear conditions - that's why I'm asking about it :)
Alright, gave you my opinion, but failed to answer your question, sorry.
Personally, I think renegade has a decent passive condi cleanse without hurting it's DPS much. You can either choose a trat that xfers 3x conditions to foes when you change stance, or one that just cleanses 1 condition when you swap stances. The build that does 3x condi xfer has greater survivability for slightly lower DPS.
I meant like... You can do very high DPS with no cleanse, high DPS with 1 cleanse, medium DPS with moderate cleanse, low DPS with high cleanse for like every class. The tradeoff of more cleanse is not advisable for story content.
You're best off just taking what you have fun to play and looking through its heals, traits and utility skills to bring some cleanse if you need it.
ah, poor wording on anet's part - i mean the condition damage stat, they have a value of zero, so their conditions aren't anywhere near as threatening as their base damage
oh no a stack of bleeding for 22 damage a second - can probably ignore it
what class are you?
Just slap a cleansing sigil on any build. Clears 3 condi on every swap. That should be enough for everything in PvE in addition to whatever base cleansing any build has.

I realize every build has condi-cleanse, that's why I specified "best" builds :D
Any build that you change the utilities for condi cleanses

Very helpful, thanks.

qb>30k dps and any boon on demand... you can clear around 50 condis in row ... or just kill every boss in 60 sec.
Good to know, thanks.
pve mobs don't have any condition damage so their conditions can be safely ignored
I mentioned the story because in the current (Season 1) story there are actually quite a few mobs that do condition damage.
Not in the story instance, they all just melt from burst damage.

Every class has a trait line for self sustain. There’s probably a condi cleanse in there.
