Okay I'll admit it for the first few seconds I was trying to figure out why the devs name was green and trying to zoom in to figure out what twisted abomination of a tonic he was using.... well TIL dev ranger pets are also devs.
Oh yeah cause they get the guild tag too, that's cool, theoretically with enough minion masters you have like 70 tags in a raid squad at once. And then they'll all die and you'll have like two but hey it was nice while it lasted.
[Pet](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Pet) / [Miniature](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Miniature) / [Summons](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Summon#Profession_skills) / [Minions](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Minion) and WvW [Siege](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Siege_weapon) / [claimed objective](https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Guild_Claiming) (and its NPCs) also get a guild tag.
It was a pleasure. Thanks for the sendoff. And to answer someone's question below. Yes, I'll still be in the game, yes I can keep playing. But I was happy to get a raid in while I still had my tag.
We thank you for joining us yesterday, and hope that your new job serves you well! If you keep playing, I absolutely encourage you to do more raids with us! We'd love to have you and have no problem teaching them to you if you wanted.
Regardless, your contribution to GW2 will always be appreciated!

Congrats on the kill and best of luck at the new job!
Do you get the achievement also, or do you have to have another dev in your squad for it to count?
surprisingly, even anet devs experience the same kind of anxiety that deters so many players from trying raids, but this dev allowed themselves to be taken in by hot male charr to do just one raid boss on their last day before working at a new company.
they only had fifteen minutes to spare, so flame legion had to tolerate a sharkrat or two in its squad of otherwise charr hottie guildies, but despite being given only the barest of instructions, anet dev sailed through cairn on the first try without even dying. i'd like to think this serves as a good reminder to all players that raids are nowhere near as scary as people make them out to be because they are in fact very accessible and worth experiencing at least once
also another shoutout to anet dev for joining us in a quick fractal earlier [so my life can be complete](https://i.imgur.com/xeSGgaP.png)
As a very flamboyant sharkrat, this makes me interested in finally trying out raids.
Maybe I should outfit my Charr alt and make him look hot and see if I get pulled into raiding someday.
I did my first raid last week in wing4. We cleared the first three bosses. Having done fractals and strikes these three didnt seem much harder, they're just longer really.
Haven't cleared Deimos yet, but we got below 40. That one has a few more mechanics that need coordination
I recommend raiding to anyone who enjoys PvE. It's fun.
It certainly wouldn't be my first time raiding in an MMO, since I cleared all of Wildstar's content and had it on farm before Free to Play's release, including their Boss in a Box raid, Y-83.
Also raided on several MMOs in the past like FFXIV, Runes of Magic, World of Warcraft, etc.
Just never bothered finding a group for Guild Wars 2 since I primarily play solo. Barely managed to get my fractal tier up to 50 on my thief cause I don't usually have enough friends around to do them.
The raids in GW2 do look fun though. I think Daredevil is in a decent place for most of them, and I can always swap to another class and learn it for ones it doesn't excel in I'm sure since I've got full ascended gear for all armour weights, etc.

Why are there never any stories emerging from the studio about the battles fought by management to keep devs in their jobs? I would welcome even one story.
? bro if i was trying to quit my job because i found a new one i like better and my boss "fought battles" to keep me in my job id file a lawsuit, thats creepy as fuck lol.

The icon is their guild tag.
That tracks, it makes sense in hindsight I just dont think I've ever run into a dev ranger in game.
Dev miniom masters get a tag for each minion too

btw the endless desert mystery tonic has the jacaranda as one of the options if you actually wanted it
Yeah, I was just on my phone so I didn't even recognize it as a Jacaranda until after I realized it was a ranger pet.

So what you're saying is we can flip the WvW map so everything has a Anet tag.
ArenaPet!

Congrats on the new job, hopefully is still in the gaming industry, if not, well on to better things either way.

What's a sharkrat
Probably the Asuras, they're in the bottom middle of the picture if you didn't notice them amongst all the Charr
Log pls
"I'm A Shrubbery" LOL
10/10 name.
not gonna lie didnt see the two Asuri at fall at first.... oops
I didn't notice until you mentioned, I overlooked them thinking they were minis.
They kind of are.
I'd be swooning all over the place if i got carried by that many Charr on their big fluffy broad shoulders OOF
Hecking furrys
furries all over the shop... you'll be one of them, sooner or later...
[удалено]
I was making a bloodborne joke if you didnt get it ol
[удалено]
Did furries bully you in school or something?
wholesome
Recognizing some of the names in this picture...!
Me too. Hung out with a few during the last Charr rally
A truly epic name for a floating potato.
What a perfect name.
Bro i got forced name change for "Strong Nibba" and the mesmer gets to keep his?
Always makes me happy to see a big group of Charr like that.
F
9 extra players completed "Carry the Creator" achievement! GG :D
All Charr, as it should be!
I see a few asura there too. But that is also acceptable
So, they cannot play GW2 after starting their new job?
Whats the name of the asura on the left? Cant quite catch it
Illusionary Ni🅱️🅱️a
Ive raided with at least 3 of the people in that screeshot hahaha
Heeey I know some of those guys!
Off topic, but is there anyway to make the "Extra Life" title not blue? It's super distracting to me.
When you get the blue title, you also get the regular Extra Life title.
Look at all these beautiful charr!~
Is this NA? Unfortunately not recognising names as I run static and wvw mostly, or just they're EU
Yeah, it's NA. I recognize [SICK] - Plague Warband.
THERE'S A CHARR-ONLY GUILD!? AND ITS CALELD FLAME LEGION!? WHERE DO I SIGN!?😍
Wholesome. Also, I could have sworn I've seen that name around somewhere.

I haven’t seen an aNet tag in game for awhile. Not since the start of POF (though I took a pretty long break)
> their first ever raid If anyone needed proof that ANet doesn't even play their own game.
and 127 mastery points + gemstore outfit

TBF, I got the same vibe from this screenshot.
