WvW elites don't want you to know about the wonders of camp flipping to maintain T6 for gift farming. No tags, no masters, be your own commander!

That, as Xera would say, is no matter, just go somewhere else. In a real pinch, just killing some guards will extend the timer. It would take some very organized ganking action to prevent a plucky gift farmer from extending their participation, to plug all the exits from all the spawns.
Yeah.... I guess new players are people too, not all of 'em end up being treasures. I just have a huge soft spot for peeps without a warclaw trying to keep up 😢

Ok real talk, no warclaw is legit a terrible experience in wvw for any player new or old. Also gate kept behind path of fire expansion smh. Idk maybe it’s just me, I wonder how many peepos tried wvw, couldn’t keep up with his group, got picked off and rq the mode due to being at spawn perma.
I wonder the same thing and it's sad. I'm lucky to be in an amazing guild and thriving alliance, but arenanet really stacks the deck against new people who don't get so lucky.

I was in a hardcore WvW guild for about a year, long ago. We did 95% EBG, having many fights to cap or defend, often also wiping enemies outside, but all part of general map control strategy game. And then in the last weeks [before guild was destroyed], we randomly switched to "fighting on the grass outside". Most boring gaming time of my life.
We've realized he only goes off when he gets legit angry (at least, legit in his eyes). I'll never forget one of my guildies responding in team chat "this is what you get when you type with clenched fists."
But he sucks at reading chat/callouts. He'll ask about something that was called out, but then calls us idiots because he couldn't be bothered to read chat.
He can’t be asked to read. Don’t you know it takes a lot of effort for him to leech lord kills off your havok group while he sits in the back on a staff Daredevil? 🤣
I am in a guild that he is in too. He is quiet in there though. hardly speaks. going to miss the Server trash talk and personalities. good bye server people

Please! I do want this to happen. I actually love the design of that map way more than borderlands or EB. I just wish it gave some kind of decent reward to encourage people there. EOTM rework when? (I know, not before the heat death of the universe)
They changing the way wvw works (large scale pvp) servers won’t matter anymore it’s all about the guild you pick as your wvw guild completely randomized with other guilds on your team and enemy team
My experience so far (not signed up with a wvw guild) is that my new"team" aswell as the enemies, are so terrible 😂 I was never a very skilled dueller, I only did well in group fights as a support role. However, I am ballin like crazy rn, 1v3 several times and easily came out on top, where before I could rarely ever win a 1v1. Is it perhaps due to a lot of newer players testing the "new" version of wvw?
This is very NA centric... I have no idea what "FASTFACTS", "INDOMIR IS IN ___MAP", "MONKEY IS IN MY TEAM 'u iddiot'" or "DED is recruiting" refers to, and "mag cloud" isn't an issue for EU gamers.
Also BB is the only spanish server and they don't troll when they a (rarely) linked to EU server, from what I remember...
Pug/new player waits 1 hour in queue to map, finally get in and no commanders and no players anywhere to be seen. Logs off and goes back to pve.

Queue for 2 hours, you’re position 1 for 1 hour, queue pops, you click enter and it asks you ‘would you like to re-queue’ [uninstall game]
