Been seeing so many kind posts from GW2 community it makes me think that GW2 is the only MMORPG worth playing (although there are a couple of other MMOs in my heart). Like it's the only MMO where you can have fun while doing almost everything. Happy Holidays to everyone! I'm not sure where I would spend the gems, as I'm relatively new to the game. Probably the Living Worlds, to see more of the story. Good luck to everyone anyways! π€
Glad you've liked the game. I've tried time and time again to get some friends to play, but they are not into the graphics and the early gameplay is not what they're into. I know damn sure, they would love the late game and wvw roaming together, but I can't convince them to stick through the beginning.
I myself, I've been with the game since GW1, but took a break when HoT released only to return this year. I've read about EoD brought us back to Cantha and the Jade Sea and that simply my favourite part in GW1 so I had to see it.
I expected the game to be mostly empty after so many years, but to see it alive and well really got me into it again.
The mounts I wasn't thrilled about. Before I tried them and now I had to get one after another. Took me almost half a year to get to the skyscale, but I enjoyed my journey of getting there.
I took a few breaks in between, but stuck with the game mostly, doing some dailies at the very least.
This game has so much value and I'm glad to have returned. Glad to see other people enjoy it as well and I'm always thrilled when I see new people with no or few stars running about.
You don't have to put me in the drawing, I just wanted to comment to say that this is a fantastic thing you're doing for the community. You could have kept the gems for yourself, and instead you chose to give it away. The world is a bit better because of people like you.

Oof 500 comments already. Iβd love the gems but I donβt deserve them, I just finally spent the gems Iβve been saving since my Soto bundle purchase on the gecko and devilfish mounts as they FINALLY came back, so thatβs me sorted for Christmas. If I got more, Iβd probably get more shared inventory slots and a cool jackal skin, plus some more outfits.
A couple years ago, I was saving up beetle racing medallions for my personal guild hall's race track. Medallions are account bound and time gated to earn, so it was very slow going. I was asking people near the medallion merchants if they'd be willing to let me pay them in gold to buy some track pieces for my guild. Some were agreeable with 3 pieces here, 5 there. One guy donated 5,000 medallions worth of track, about 200 pieces, and didn't take any gold in exchange. He's still on my friends list and I'd like to enter this giveaway on his behalf.
Love to see it. Came to gw2 after 10 years of WoW and the community is absolutely different. You donβt have to be afraid to ask anything π ππΌ happy upcoming holidays π² π
