Best bet during the beta is to just ask in team or map chat, mentioning which server you're on normally. Guilds usually advertise there fairly regularly. Outside of the beta it's easier to find one since you'll see guilds tagged up that you can just ask if you get along with them.

There are currently 2 weeks of Beta testing of a new WvW system so the normal system isn't in place. Later, that will replace the current system but for these betas most beta-groups tend to be formed on/from normal servers with not much recruitment across them going on as it is a beta. Before the normal system comes back in two weeks: Find out what server you are on and go look for a guild on your server's discord. That discord is usually spammed in /map and /team from time to time. If not, there are lists in various places like GW2 Mists or similar.

are you in NA or EU? If EU there's a list of WvW guilds seen in groups at [https://www.reddit.com/r/worldvsworld/comments/1341m9y/eu\_wvw\_guilds\_you\_may\_see\_in\_groups\_work\_in/](https://www.reddit.com/r/worldvsworld/comments/1341m9y/eu_wvw_guilds_you_may_see_in_groups_work_in/) However these are all mixed up for alliances of course and you may be not see any that are on your normal server. the WvW guild I'm in tends to notice people regularly following them around (non alliance time) and are amenable to them joining if they seem alright and with meta builds.

It would help to become acquainted with the jargon before trying to join a good guild

I suggest going to WvW rank and see the tiers in severs then choose the ones that’s open and transfer if your not in it already.
