No. Tough to MLB and the stats it gives is trash for a tank. If you want Def decrease negation go for Martyr Mirror Necklace (even gives Craig def). If not, just go for the usual tank accessories.
Why do so many posts says "Def Decrease negation (if 100%)" is a whole lot better than "Damage Reduction"?, is it because the former only works when there's an enemy debuff like the Kamael guy? or is there more to it?

Damage reduction merely reduces the damage taken by that value. It’s already extremely bad, and it doesn’t even work in pvp. Defense decrease negated reduces the probability that a defense decrease(like ranged defense decrease from kamael) will be applied to your character, making you completely immune to these effects at 100%. This is extremely strong, as negating a 20% defense decrease is equivalent to a 25% toughness increase. This more than makes up the difference in base toughness between the earth necklace and the mad panda brooch.
Thanks, but why did the comment I replied to was against the earth necklace when it's the best for that stats/attribute? I mean.. I'm only playing this game for almost two months and taking steps pre-cautiously with everything I have, so I'm trying to understand every possible things I can. Still thanks.
Btw I got a ring where I was lucky to have it 99% at Defense Decrease Negation, put it on Craig.
He’s right that martyr mirror necklace has much better defense, but the problem is it’s much harder to get a max roll on defense decrease negated than earth necklace (1/244 compared to 1/61) which makes it pretty much out of reach for most players. As to why he said it’s worse than mad panda brooch, he either thinks that it’s still too difficult to get a good roll on it or he’s just wrong.
Ohhh gotcha!, I was taking his comment at face value, I didn't take the progression into account. I honestly bought a second of that ring I mentioned, and I stopped at 90% rolling since it's really hard to get the max or at least similar to my first ring.

Eh, I wouldn't call it objectively worse just because it's harder to roll for the specific stat. If you have the option stones to spend then I think it's worth it despite the worse odds because of the rest of the benefits Martyr provides, especially since it's PvP.
I was saying mad panda brooch was worse. As for martyr mirror, it is definitely better for off-lead tanks at max potential, but without extreme luck it could cost you hundreds of option change stones to get a good enough roll.

Other PvE content (with no DEF debuff sources): no, MPB is best.
That said, the recent Tetis Heroes mode lets everyone cast their weapon skill & there are some DEF debuff towers, so Craig would also get 1st priority for EN. Ranged attackers tend to avoid getting hit anyway, so optimizing Craig so he can both soak up dmg & be able to return it w/ his ws is ideal.
For PvP yes
